David Pack ── Wrong Again!

Brethren, we are not to be silent when evil is around us! The LORD God wants us, as true Christians, to stand up against wrongdoing and speak out against known false prophets that are leading His sheep astray and are scattering the sheep!

“’ Woe to the shepherds who DESTROY and SCATTER the sheep of My pasture!’ says the LORD.” – Jeremiah 23:1. 

Our understanding of calling out evil is found all throughout God’s living word, showing how important it is for us to act with courage and love. 

Minister Guy LaMar has previously denounced David Pack in his opinion piece, “Satan the Devil and David Pack.” Well… now David Pack is setting a “definite, inevitable, absolutely, unequivocal” date for the Kingdom of God to come ── December 19, 2025. 

Sadly, David Pack appears to relish setting dates and then changing them at his leisure. 

Apparently, however, he’s not changing this one, which is supposed to be December 19th, 2025, for the Kingdom of God to come. 

I, personally, have watched a portion of a short video on Facebook of this prediction by him, and heard him say ──

“The only way I could be dissuaded, or the men who work with me intentionally about this, of the date I know about, is if God or Gabriel spoke from heaven with an oracle to tell me otherwise. The evidence is so powerful, and so tight ── but it’s a ways away ── not a long way. … It’s the inevitable day, we would learn which day can delay no further, and be sure that we have it right. Three facts ── there’s vastly more, but three facts are needed to identify and lock the day. The date, the day. Three facts. 1) Passover. Begins the Kingdom of God, this… absolutes, no doubts ── you all know it! So, that’s one of the three facts. You need to know when the first kingdom ends, and it’s Passover. No one can argue that… impossible. We can go to many verses, and we have. And you will walk out of here today understanding it’s impossible… it’s impossible… impossible… impossible… that we’re wrong! … It has to be a Sabbath. … December 19th, Friday, early in the morning, our time… December 19th, Kisov 30, can not vary. …”

Brethren, with the authority of our Lord Jesus Christ, this David Pack is TOTALLY, UNEQUIVOCALLY, AND ABSOLUTELY WRONG! God’s righteous and holy KINGDOM WILL NOT BE ESTABLISHED IN 2025! We have long believed that this false prophet is among those that the Apostle Peter ── inspired by the LORD God ── warned us about ──  

“But there were also false prophets among the people, even as there WILL BE false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Lord who bought them, and BRING ON THEMSELVES SWIFT DESTRUCTION. 2) And many will follow their destructive ways, because of whom the way of truth will be blasphemed. 3) By covetousness they will exploit you with deceptive words; for a long time their judgment has not been idle, and their destruction does not slumber. … 

12) But these, like natural brute beasts made to be caught and destroyed, SPEAK EVIL OF THE THINGS THEY DO NOT UNDERSTAND, and will utterly perish in their corruption, 13) and will receive the wages of unrighteousness, as those who count it pleasure to carouse in the daytime. They are spots and blemishes, carousing in their own deceptions while they feast with you, 14) having eyes full of adultery and that cannot cease from sin, enticing unstable souls. They have a heart trained in covetous practices, and are accursed children. … 

18) For when they speak great swelling words of emptiness, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through lewdness, the ones who have actually escaped from those who live in error. 19) While they promise them liberty, they themselves are slaves of corruption; for by him also he is brought to bondage.” – 2 Peter 2:1-3, 12-14, 18-19.

While we do not wish David Pack any ill will, we pray that he and those who are being led astray will open their eyes and ears to what God’s living Spirit truly has to say. 

Sadly, because of false prophets like David Pack, there will be brethren who won’t truly recognize the LORD God’s end-time prophets when they do come on the scene (cf. Matthew 24:9-14).

The Apostle Peter has declared that the LORD God would open up the tree of Life (the Holy Spirit) to those who were predestined to be in the Church of God; His Firstfruits ── 

“But this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel: 17) ‘And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God, That I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your young men shall see visions, Your old men shall dream dreams, 18) And on My manservants and on My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days; And they shall prophesy.’” – Acts 2:16-18. 

Well… when could the glorious Kingdom of God come?

Now, we do not set dates, but it cannot come until the glorious and powerful return of our Savior and King of kings and Lord of lords! And it certainly cannot be in the year 2025. Why? 

Because several of the “signs” that our Lord Jesus Christ spoke about have not yet occurred.

Notice the word of our great God ── the living Jesus Christ ──  

“Now as He sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, ‘Tell us, when will these things be? …’” – speaking about the utter destruction of the temple in Jerusalem. “ … ‘And what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?’ 4) And Jesus answered and said to them: ‘Take heed that no one deceives you. 5) For MANY will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive MANY.’” – Matthew 24:3-5.

Certainly, just like us, brethren, they too wanted to know. Notice that our Lord Jesus told us to be careful about being deceived ── including by people who teach that our Lord Jesus of Nazareth is the Christ.

Continuing, our Lord Jesus spoke of certain “signs” that we are to look for ──

“’ And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. 7) For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. …’” – and we contend that this is our Lord Jesus speaking of the prophecy about Daniel 11:40; the seventh resurrection of the “Holy” Roman Catholic-led Empire and a confederation of Islamic Nations ── the prophesied final king of the North and the final king of the South. “ … ‘And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. 8) All these are the beginning of sorrows.’”

Then comes the end-time prophets of God ── 

“’ Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake. 10) And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another. 11) Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. 12) And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. 13) But he who endures to the end shall be saved.      

14) And this gospel OF THE KINGDOM will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.’” – Matthew 24:6-14.

We have not seen the prophesied end-time final king of the South attack the final king of the North, along with the prophesied end-time ‘abomination of desolation,’ spoken of by Daniel the prophet, set up in Jerusalem yet.

Because, as our Lord Jesus continued warning us ── when that takes place ──

“’ For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be. 22) And UNLESS those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect’s sake those days will be shortened.’” – Matthew 24:21-22. 

Then… our Master, Elder Brother, and Savior ── Jesus Christ ── spoke about what would take place immediately after the tribulation of that prophesied time ──

“’ Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; …’” – likely because of the atmosphere being darkened from billowing volcanic ash and smoke! “ …’ the stars [speaking of angels] will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken.’” ── truly meaning that Satan the Devil and his minions will be thrown out of the atmosphere.

And then notice this – Revelation chapter 6 – Verse 14 – “THEN the sky receded as a scroll when it's rolled up, and every mountain and island was moved out of its place.” The atmosphere will be thick with volcanic ash towers from a great number of volcanoes erupting around the globe, possibly caused by the massive ‘great earthquake.’ This damaging smoke and pollution must be cleared from the atmosphere before the arrival of our King of kings and LORD of lords!

So, with all that from our Lord Jesus Christ Himself ── there is no way that the Kingdom of God can come in 2025 or that our Lord Jesus will return this year! And certainly, David Pack has other reasoning behind his prediction ── but he is blatantly wrong again. 

Let us never forget the living words of our Savior ──

“’ But of that day and hour NO ONE KNOWS, not even the angels of heaven, But My Father only.’” – Matthew 24:36. □

Ramirez, who grew up in the Bronx, was part of a Satanist church from when he was 8 years old to 35 years old. … 

Ramirez said he threw away thousands of dollars’ worth of witchcraft materials in the closet -- including human bones, cemetery dirt, etc. -- and “I left one daddy that I could see, to another that I couldn't see.” … 

“The power of Satan is limited. It's a hoax,” he concluded. “And the power of Jesus is limitless and it brings you to a place of knowing your purpose and destiny of who you really are created to be.”

Certainly, while many are aware of the true origin of Halloween, many are not aware that the very practice of a person's birthday came from Satanism.

Birthdays are considered one of the three most important holidays to Satan worshipers. The two others are ── Walpurgis Night and Halloween.

While not all Satanists share the same beliefs, most do celebrate birthdays. And, those who practice astrology also consider birthdays of great importance.

God’s living word – the Holy Bible – doesn’t actually encourage the celebration of a person's date of birth. Instead, His word tends to speak in a more negative light of such a practice (cf. Matthew 14:6-11; Jeremiah 20:14-18).

Yet, despite all of that, the very practice and celebration of what can be called a birthday celebration was not practiced by early Christians of the Way. Nor has any true Christian ever celebrated what is now called Halloween.

The first-century Jewish historian, Flavius Josephus, wrote ──

26. Nay, indeed, the law does not permit us to make festivals at the births of our children, and thereby afford occasion of drinking to excess; but it ordains that the very beginning of our education should be immediately directed to sobriety. It also commands us to bring those children up in learning, and to exercise them in the laws, and make them acquainted with the acts of their predecessors, in order to their imitation of them, and that they might be nourished up in the laws from their infancy, and might neither transgress them, nor have any pretense for their ignorance of them. 1

Now… although there is no specific command against the celebration of a person's birthday within God’s living word, there are astrological implications of the celebration of birthdays, i.e., pagan practices such as astrology are specifically prohibited in God’s law. 

The LORD our God condemns the practice that is associated with astrology ──

“’ You are wearied in the multitude of your counsels; Let now the astrologers, the stargazers, And the monthly prognosticators Stand up and save you From what shall come upon you. 14) Behold, they shall be as stubble, The fire shall burn them; They shall not deliver themselves From the power of the flame; …’” – Isaiah 47:13, 14. 

Astrology is the “interpretation” of an assumed influence the stars (and planets) exert on human destiny. According to astrology, the sign you were born under, Aquarius, Pisces, Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, or Capricorn, impacts your destiny. This is a false belief. The LORD our God forbids it ── 

“’ There shall not be found among you anyone who makes his son or his daughter pass through the fire, or one who practices witchcraft, or a soothsayer, or one who interprets omens, or a sorcerer, 11) or one who conjures spells, or a medium, or a spiritist, or one who calls up the dead. 12) For all who do these things are an abomination to the LORD, and because of these abominations the LORD your God drives them out from before you.’” – Deuteronomy 18:10-12.

Sadly, like so many practices associated with paganism, the children of Israel desired to celebrate and follow the abominations of all those other nations. Essentially, birthdays became celebrated because of the Mother Church’s ── meaning, the Roman Catholic Church ── compromise with pagan practices, such as Mithraism.

And so, beginning around the fourth century, after paganism was intermingled with Roman society and the Nativity of the baby Jesus began to be celebrated publicly, some Catholic Romans of the upper classes began to celebrate birthdays. Do you celebrate birthdays? □

Sadly, a great many Americans are overweight. But using what is called “revised standards,” the percentage is even higher than previously thought ──

BMI alone may not be enough to measure cardiometabolic disease risk among adults, researchers find.

The research, led by a team from the Border Health Research Cohort at UTHealth Houston School of Public Health, was published in JAMA Network Open and focused on the relationship between adiposity, or excess fat tissue, and cardiometabolic disease in adults.

Cardiometabolic disease is a group of health problems, like heart disease and diabetes, that are often caused by things like being overweight or having high blood pressure, or high blood sugar.

“When you have excess adiposity, even if you’re not obese, you’re still at risk for cardiometabolic disease,” said co-principal investigator Joseph McCormick, MD, professor of epidemiology, and James H. Steele, DVM, Professor at UTHealth Houston School of Public Health. “This adipose tissue is a big driver of the elements that make up what we call cardiometabolic disease.”

The research was a companion piece to a study published in JAMA Pediatrics, which focused on adiposity and obesity in children. … 

Men with a waist circumference of 40.1 inches or more and women with a waist circumference of 34.6 inches or more are more likely to have excess adiposity, according to the research.

The new approach would label someone as being obese if they have a BMI over 40 or if they have a high BMI plus at least one sign of excess body fat, for example, a large waist, high waist-to-hip ratio, or high waist-to-height ratio. People could also be classed as obese if they have two signs of excess fat, even with a “normal” BMI, or if scans show they have excessive body fat. …

In the lovely cesspool of San Francisco, it’s time to Make Obesity Great Again. 

Never mind the poop and dirty drug needles littering the streets; the San Francisco Department of Health seems to want fat citizens to feel comfortable in their own bodies, to feel accepted by society, to feel like they can live their truth without any fear of judgment. To do so, they apparently hired a fat-shaming expert to work as a consultant — two labels that should send chills down your spine — on “weight stigma” and “weight neutrality” — two buzz phrases as hollow as they are silly.

Virgie Tovar, a self-described “plus-size Latina” and “leading expert on weight-based discrimination,” announced Monday she will work with the city’s health department to achieve the aforementioned “weight neutrality,” which, in my estimation, entails yet another feckless waste of taxpayer dollars for some unbelievably stupid liberal theory. 

“I’m UNBELIEVABLY proud to serve the city I’ve called home for almost 20 years in this way! This consultancy is an absolute dream come true, and it’s my biggest hope and belief that weight neutrality will be the future of public health,” Tovar wrote on Instagram. 

With all due respect to my weight-challenged brothers and sisters in America, you have no business eating up taxpayer dollars working for the city health department to “make weight neutrality … the future of health.” On its face, it is an absurd notion.”

It’s very difficult for most Americans to maintain health and a healthy weight due to all the preservatives and outright “garbage” that is added to American foods! (See: 8 U.S. Foods that are Different in Europe). Anyone who promotes obesity should be ashamed of themselves!

Now, of course, we should never make fun of anyone who is overweight, but we should also NOT encourage anyone to become obese! It is unhealthy. 

Also, there have been several anti-obesity shaming people who have died prematurely due to obesity being a leading factor in their untimely death. Never throw stones in a glass house!

Being obese is UNHEALTHY and should never be encouraged!

God’s living word tells us to eat what is good ──

“’ Why do you spend money for what is not bread, And your wages for what does not satisfy? Listen carefully to Me, and eat what is good, …’” – Isaiah 55:2.

Certainly, eat what is good for you. 

Sadly, however, an end-time prophecy that is consistent with more and more unhealthy and even overweight people as we near the end of this present evil age ──

“But know this, that IN THE LAST DAYS perilous times will come: 2) For men will be lovers of THEMSELVES, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, UNTHANKFUL, unholy, 3) unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, WITHOUT SELF-CONTROL, brutal, despisers of good, 4) traitors, headstrong, haughty, LOVERS OF PLEASURE rather than lovers of God, 5) having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!” – 2 Timothy 3:1-5. 

A lack of self-control, when it comes to food, can certainly lead one to obesity and unhealthiness.

I have seen many people in their 70s, and even in their 90s, but I have not seen any ── that I can recall ── that are overweight. Yet, this age of “wokeness” and this “DEI” garbage wants everyone to believe that bad is good, and anything good is now bad.

Again, God’s living word ──    

“Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; Who put darkness for light, and light for darkness; Who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! 21) Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes, And prudent in their own sight!” – Isaiah 5:20-21.

It is neither wise nor good to tell people that it is just fine to be overweight. 

A great many people are taught and have come to believe that our Lord Jesus Christ said, ‘come as you are,’ when in fact He said ──  

“ … ‘ The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand. REPENT, and BELIEVE in the gospel.’” – Mark 1:15.

Nowhere has He said to us that we are to be satisfied as we are, and to go to Him. He immediately began His ministry with the fact that we must REPENT ── to repent not only spiritually, but also physically. STOP SINNING AGAINST THE LORD GOD AND AGAINST YOUR FLESH! 

“ … ‘ for if you do not believe that I am He, you will die in your sins.’” – John 8:24.

Severe obesity is on the rise in the US

Obesity is high and holding steady in the U.S., but the proportion of those with severe obesity — especially women — has climbed since a decade ago, according to new government research. 

The U.S. obesity rate is about 40%, according to a 2021-2023 survey of about 6,000 people. Nearly 1 in 10 of those surveyed reported severe obesity, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention found. … 

Most telling, though, are the results that show that the overall obesity rate in the U.S. has not changed significantly in a decade, even as the rate of severe obesity climbed from nearly 8% in the 2013-2014 survey to nearly 10% in the most recent one. Before that, obesity had increased rapidly in the U.S. since the 1990s, federal surveys showed. …

The new report follows the release earlier this month of data from U.S. states and territories that showed that in 2023, the rate of obesity ranged widely by place, from a high of more than 41% of adults in West Virginia to a low of less than 24% of adults in Washington, D.C. Rates were highest in the Midwest and the South. 

All U.S. states and territories posted obesity rates higher than 20%. In 23 states, more than 1 in 3 adults had obesity, the data showed. …

The LORD God is opposed to a person being overweight or obese.

Notice what the LORD our God inspired the prophets Moses and Jeremiah to record for us regarding obesity metaphorically ── 

“’ But Jeshurun [a poetic name for Israel] grew fat and kicked; You grew fat, you grew thick, You are obese! Then he forsook God who made him, And scornfully esteemed the Rock of his salvation.’” – Deuteronomy 32:15. 

“‘ Because you were glad, because you rejoiced, You destroyers of My heritage, Because you have grown fat like a heifer threshing grain, And you bellow like bulls, 12) Your mother shall be deeply ashamed. Behold, the least of the nations shall be a wilderness, A dry land and a desert.’” – Jeremiah 50:11-12. 

So, the knowledge and understanding that being overweight and or obese is not good is certainly not a new concept.

Also, God’s living word warns us about gluttony ──

“Do not mix with winebibbers, Or with gluttonous eaters of meat; 21) For the drunkard and the glutton will come to poverty, And drowsiness will clothe a man with rags.” – Proverbs 23:20-21.

Sadly, a great many people consume way too much processed food, along with meats that are not good to be consumed, such as lobster, shellfish, oysters, bear, squirrel, turtle, possum, rat, cat, alligator, shark, and the like. Processed foods that contain synthetic nutrients, chemical additives, and dyes, along with refined grains, are not good for the human body!                     

(Is God's Biblical Food Laws Still In Effect!?)

All people should always eat and drink real and all-natural foods and beverages. 

And, of course, losing weight can be very difficult, but with the inspiring living words of God ──

“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” – Philippians 4:13.

With constant prayer and strength from our Almighty God, and with unwavering determination, losing weight and breaking the bonds of obesity can indeed happen! 

“TRUST in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; 6) In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths. 7) Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the LORD and depart from evil. 8) It will be health to your flesh, And strength to your bones.” – Proverbs 3:5-8. 

Take it to the LORD, and He will direct your paths. With the LORD God, all things are possible. □ 

Is God a Trinity?

 

If you would turn to 2nd Corinthians 3. This is a powerful statement, and the churches and the religious people of this world seemingly don’t know it! It’s right there in their Bible! And I dare say, many people from the tradition of the Worldwide Church of God don’t know it either. Yet, it’s right out there for you!

2nd Corinthians 3:17 – it says in black & white, underlined with red and highlighted in yellow so that I don’t miss it – “Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.” The Lord is the Spirit.

So, how many times have you gone to your neighborhood church, or turned on your television to watch some Sunday morning comedy hour, and they go on and on about the word the Trinity? And the churches of the world teach “the trinity.” There’s even a so-called Christian television broadcasting company, Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN). And some people believe that if you do not believe in the Trinity, you are not of God! And, the churches of the world teach the trinity as being the absolute truth of God.

Let’s go to 1st John. A “proof” text that poorly educated religious people use is in 1st John 5. Notice verse 6 – “This is He who came by water and blood – Jesus Christ; …” Alright, the water meaning what? He was baptized by John the Baptist, and He was murdered – He was tortured to death, where He bled profusely. “ … not only by water, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit who bears witness, because the Spirit is truth.”    

Now again, what did we just read in 2nd Corinthians 3:17? “The Lord [Jesus Christ] is the Spirit.” That’s why Jesus Christ can live in us – because a part of His mind is with us. Even though He is presently located in the third heaven next to the throne of God the Father. He can share His mind with us,  and therefore we have the mind of Jesus Christ within us – we have the Spirit of Jesus Christ within us. We have Christ in us. 

Now the next verse. Any reputable Bible or Bible help will plainly tell you that verse 7 does not appear in the original Greek manuscripts.

“For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost, and these three are one.” 

Verse 7 was added by the people who had been assigned the job of translating it, who were Catholic priests and dignitaries. The trinity was formally adopted at the Council of Constantinople in A.D. 381, though many in the Roman and Orthodox churches believed in different versions of it before this – even in 381, it was not exactly the same trinity doctrine as now understood by the vast majority of this world’s churches.

But, when did this added statement get added to the Bible? Well, notice the most accepted view:

“ … the earliest manuscript, codex 221 (10th century), includes the reading in a marginal note which was added sometime after the original composition. Thus, there is no sure evidence of this reading in any Greek manuscript until the 1500s; each such reading was apparently composed after Erasmus’ Greek NT was published in 1516. Indeed, the reading appears in no Greek witness of any kind (either manuscript, patristic, or Greek translation of some other version) until AD 1215 (in a Greek translation of the Acts of the Lateran Council, a work originally written in Latin). … 

The Trinitarian formula (known as the Comma Johanneum) made its way into the third edition of Erasmus’ Greek NT (1522) because of pressure from the Catholic Church. After his first edition appeared (1516), there arose such a furor over the absence of the Comma that Erasmus needed to defend himself. He argued that he did not put in the Comma because he found no Greek manuscripts that included it. … 

In reality, the issue is history, not heresy: How can one argue that the Comma Johanneum must go back to the original text when it did not appear until the 16th century in any Greek manuscripts?”

The trinity is considered so important that The Catholic Encyclopedia states:

“The Trinity is the term employed to signify the central doctrine of the Christian religion.” 

(The Blessed Trinity, 1912). 

And so, for over sixteen centuries, people have used verse 7 – and yet, any authority on the Bible and many translations will plainly tell you verse 7 was not, should not, be a part of the Bible! In most modern translations of the Bible, verse 7 isn’t there.

Let us notice what Jesus Christ Himself taught: 

“’ All things have been delivered to Me by My Father, and no one knows the Son except the Father. Nor does anyone know the Father except the Son, and the one to whom the Son wills to reveal Him.’” – Matthew 11:27.

So, only the Father and Son know each other. He does not mention the Holy Spirit. According to Jesus’ own words, it is obvious that the Holy Spirit is NOT an equal member of “a Trinity.” 

The very terms trinity, or threeness, or trinitarian are not in the Bible. 

On page 1509, the Jamieson, Fausett, and Brown Commentary of the Whole Bible reminds everyone, while referring to the KJV:

“The only Greek MSS. In any form which support the words, ‘in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost, and these three are one; and there are three that bear witness in earth,’ are the Montfortianus of Dublin, copied evidently from the modern Latin Vulgate; the Ravianus, copied from the Complutensian Polyglot; a MS. At Naples, with the words added in the margin by a recent hand; Ottobonianus, 298, of the fifteenth century, the Greek of which is a mere translation of the accompanying Latin. All the old versions omit the words.” 

In other words, ‘For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost, and these three are one. And there are three that bear witness in earth’ are not inspired by God and not supposed to be in the Bible.

The New International Version (NIV) translates 1st John 5:7-8 correctly:

“For there are three that testify: 8) the Spirit, the water and the blood; and the three are in agreement.”

Other translations do as well.

The Codex Sinaiticus, or the “Sinai Bible,” is one of the four great uncial codices, ancient, handwritten copies of the Greek Bible correctly translated 1st John 5:6-8 - δι' ὕδατος καὶ αἵματος καὶ πνεύματος (through water and blood and spirit). 

 American New Testament scholar Bart D. Ehrman states:

“As a striking example … (1 John 5:7-8) … represents the most obvious instance of a theologically motivated corruption in the entire manuscript tradition of the New Testament.”

(The Orthodox Corruption of Scripture: The Effect of Early Christological Controversies on the Text of the New Testament, Ehrman, B.D., Oxford University Press, 1993, p. 60).

Now, the second passage often “proved” by trinitarians is Matthew 28:19:

“’ Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy [Ghost].’” 

But it does not teach the Trinity. 

Jesus taught that ‘baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit’ is because being begotten by the Holy Spirit through baptism (Luke 3:16), we will ultimately be born into the family of God – and this is a part of the relationship between us, His Spirit, the Son, and the Father.

 The Godhead as taught by 2 Clement

The oldest known complete Christian sermon that has survived is erroneously called The Letter of 2 Clement. It was given perhaps a year or so after the Apostle John’s death, and begins with:

“Brothers, we must think about Jesus Christ as we think about God, as about the Judge of the living and the dead … So my brothers, let us do the will of the Father who called us, that we may live; …” – 2 Clement 1:1; 10:1. 

(Lost Scriptures Books That Did Not Make It Into the New Testament, Ehrman, B.D., Oxford University Press, 2003, pg. 186, 189). 

So, the oldest surviving sermon outside of the Bible says to think of Jesus Christ as God and that the Father is God, but never indicates or mentions the Holy Spirit.

The Apostle Paul Did Not Recognize Nor Teach the Trinity 

The Apostle Paul is probably considered a blasphemer by many trinitarians today, because with all of his greetings to the churches of God, he does not mention the Holy Spirit. In his introduction to the church in Corinth, he begins: 

“Paul, called to be an apostle of Jesus Christ through the will of God, … Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ” – 1 Corinthians 1:1, 3.

The same greeting is repeated in his second letter to the Corinthians as well as Galatians 1:3, Ephesians 1:2, Philippians 1:2, Colossians 1:2, 1st Thessalonians 1:1, 2nd Thessalonians 1:2, 1st Timothy 1:2, Titus 1:4, and Philemon 1:3.

And, all of these greetings are the same – the Holy Spirit is not mentioned. 

Only in 2nd Corinthians 13:14 is the Holy Spirit mentioned with God the Father and Jesus Christ – and only in connection with communion and fellowship. 

Just What is the Holy Spirit?

Is the Holy Spirit a being, just like God the Father and Jesus Christ, as the doctrine of the Trinity teaches? Let’s examine some plain, clear testimony to see just WHAT God’s Holy Spirit is.

1.  It is the power of God. “ … ‘Not by might nor by power [of any human], but by My Spirit,’ Says the LORD of hosts” – Zechariah 3:6. “But truly I am full of power by the Spirit of the LORD, And of justice and might, …” – Micah 3:8.
2. It is the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and of the fear (reverent fear) of the Lord (Isaiah 11:2). 
3. It is a gift. After baptism, you are to receive ‘the gift of the Holy Spirit’ (Acts 2:38). And, it is poured out – “’ And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God, That I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh; …’” – Acts 2:17. “ … the gift of the Holy Spirit had been poured out on the Gentiles also” – Acts 10:45.
4. The Holy Spirit must be stirred up to be effective. “Therefore, I remind you to stir up the gift of God which is in you,” Paul reminds Timothy (1 Timothy 1:6). 
5. The Spirit of God can be quenched. “And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption” Ephesians 4:30. “Do not quench the Spirit” – 1 Thessalonians 5:19. 
6. It is the begetting power of God (Matthew 1:18; Romans 8:9).
7. It is God’s guarantee to us that He will fulfill His promise to us. “[Which] is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, …” – Ephesians 1:14.
8. It sheds the love of God abroad in our hearts. “… the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit …” – Romans 5:5. 
9. It must be renewed. “ … and the renewing of the Holy Spirit, whom He poured out on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior” – Titus 3:5-6.

Notice that in all of these Scriptures, there is not one characteristic that implies a ‘being.’ Does a being do any of these things? Is a being ‘poured out,’ ‘quenched,’ ‘renewed’?

So, what are we to think about all of this? The Trinity is a lie. It is a lie put forth by Satan and sucked up, as it were, by the religions of the world to the point where some people will want to fight you if you were to say, ‘The Trinity is not a Biblical doctrine.’ The Lord is the Spirit. 

So, what is to be said of the nature of God? God, or Elohim. Recall back in the Book of Genesis – “’ Let Us [a plural word] make man in Our [a plural word] image.” The family of God – right now – is composed of two beings or two personalities. We now call the One – God the Father, and we now call the other One – Jesus Christ. Sometimes, He is referred to as the Logos, or the Word. Those are the only two members of the family of God – right now. 

The doctrine of the Trinity says that the Godhead, they say, ‘is God the Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit.’ However, they also go on to teach that there will never be another being that becomes a part of this Godhead.

Now, if that is true, you would be denied the many benefits of being an eternal resurrected being. Because you truly wouldn’t be a son or a daughter, a member of the family. You would just sort of be an outcast of the family of God, but I guess you have eternal life.

Well, here’s the truth. What God is offering to us is full membership in the family of God.

We, in the Church of Jesus Christ Online Ministries, believe in the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit – but as the Bible teaches, not any human council or human tradition. There simply is no verse in the Bible that supports the false doctrine of the Trinity.

There are verses in the Bible which teach that the Father is God (cf. John 4:23-24; 6:27), and that the Word (Jesus Christ) is God (cf. John 1:1-3), and that the Holy Spirit is the power by those in the Godhead (cf. 1 Kings 8:27; Psalm 139:7; Jeremiah 23:24; Acts 2:38-39; also John 15:16 (God’s Word Translation).

We, in the Church of Jesus Christ Online Ministries, do indeed believe in the Father (who is God), the Son (who is God), and the Holy Spirit (which is the power, the mind, emanating from the Father and the Son), we do not accept the trinitarian definition of the Godhead – as it is not biblical. ■             

What is meant, ‘You observe days and months and seasons and years’?

In this Think About This… let’s talk about, ‘You observe days and months and seasons and years’? Because there are a great many who do not properly understand the Apostle Paul’s admonition in Galatians chapter 4, and verse 10, against the observance of days, months, seasons, and years. What was it that the Apostle Paul was talking about? Well… let’s see and hear what God’s Spirit has to say.

So, here is what the Apostle Paul wrote under inspiration ──

“But then, indeed, when you did not know God, you served those which by nature are not gods. 9) Now after you have known God, or rather are known by God, how is it that you turn again to the weak and beggarly elements, to which you desire again to be bondage? 10) You observe days and months and seasons and years.” – Galatians 4:8-10.

What Days? 

Let us notice that this chapter four begins with the Apostle Paul addressing the Jews. In verse three, he addresses the Jews as “we” because he was a Roman citizen, but he was also a Jew from the tribe of Benjamin. He was born into a devout Jewish family in the city of Tarsus. He received his education under Gamaliel ── a first-century Jewish rabbi and a leader in the Jewish Sanhedrin. But then he was taught directly from our Lord Jesus Christ in Arabia for three years. 

But notice in verse six, the Apostle Paul changes from the Jews to the Gentile converts. He doesn’t use the word “we,” but rather “you.”

“But then, indeed, when you did not know God, …”

The Jews there in the first century knew God, but the Gentiles did not know God and were serving and worshiping those by nature that were not gods. Our Lord Jesus, speaking to the Samaritan woman at the well ── a Gentile ──

“’ You worship what you do not know; …’” – as in, worshiping those which by nature are not gods. “ …’ we [our Lord Jesus being a Jew] know what we worship, for salvation is of the Jews.’” – John 4:22.

So, returning again to the Book of Galatians, let’s continue ──

“ … you served those which by nature are not gods. 9) But now after you have known God, … how is it that you turn again to the weak and beggarly elements, to which you desire again to be in bondage?”     

So, these Gentile converts to whom the Apostle Paul was writing this epistle were not Jews. They, before they came to know God, or rather are now known by God, were cut off from God ── they were serving those which by nature were not gods. In fact, the Gentiles ── the nations and peoples that were all around the land of Judah ── were worshiping:

• Baal. A Canaanite storm and fertility god.
• Asherah. Considered the consort of Baal. A goddess of fertility and motherhood. 
• Molech. A Canaanite god that is associated with human sacrifice.
• Chemosh. A Canaanite god mentioned in the Old Testament, associated with fertility and agriculture.
• Ashtoreth. A goddess worshiped in ancient Canaan, linked to fertility and agriculture. 

They were serving and worshiping demons (cf. Leviticus 17:7; Deuteronomy 32:17; 1 Corinthians 10:20-21), not the living God. False prophets and religious teachers were coming up among them, perverting the living word of God, beguiling them to turn again to their former ways. The Apostle Paul was shocked ── he was afraid for them, lest he had labored for them in vain. They were departing from the living Word of God, the Truth of God, and the Plan of God to the weak and beggarly elements, placing them in bondage once again. Returning once again to the observance of days and months and seasons and years.

So, it wasn’t that they were returning again to the Lord's feasts and holy days; they had not been keeping or celebrating them before the Apostle Paul had taught them.

What Is “Times”? 

Let’s turn in our Bible to Leviticus 19, and verse 26 ── 

“’ You shall not eat anything with the blood. You shall not observe times * nor practice witchcraft.’” – NET.

“’ There shall not be found among you anyone who makes his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that uses divination, or an observer of times, or a fortuneteller, or a witch. … 14) For these nations whom you shall possess hearkened to observers of times and to diviners; but as for you, the LORD your God has not allowed you to do so.’” – Deuteronomy 18:10, 14, NET. 

The Apostle Paul forbade pagan practices. To observe “times” was a pagan practice often attached to heavenly bodies ── such as stars, planets, moons, asteroids, comets, and even galaxies ── used to determine pagan calendars and their religious seasons.

According to the Catholic Chrysostom (who many apparently thought John, Bishop of Constantinople and Antisemite, was a captivating speaker, he did not understand God’s living word, nor did he properly explain it), he wrote, “Many were ſuperſtitiouſly addicted to the Obſervation of Times, and made Divination and Conjectures upon them; as if they ſpent the New-Moon in Mirth and Pleaſure, the whole Year would be proſperous and lucky to them. … they were uſed in the Celebration of theſe Times to ſet up Lamps in the Market-Place.” 1 

Also, David Hutton Webster, who was a distinguished scholar who served as Professor of Anthropology and Sociology at the University of Nebraska from 1907 to 1933, wrote, “The festivals of the dead, observed in classical antiquity, were marked by taboos. Among the Greeks, the rites took place on the so-called αποφραδες ἡμέραι (which means, ominous days) … accompanied by complete idleness and cessation of business.” 2

The Apostle Paul was worried that these Gentile converts were returning to their former pagan rituals and celebrations.

The Apostle Paul was denouncing those vain and abominable practices! The LORD God says to us, “ … ‘take heed to yourself that you are not ensnared to follow them, … and that you do not inquire after their gods, saying, ‘How did these nations serve their gods? I also will do likewise.’ 31) You shall not worship the LORD your God in that way; …’” – Deuteronomy 12:29-31. 

Also, in connection with pagan idolatry were numerous “days” observed as penitential festivals. 

“The taboos which at Rome invested the lunar phases appear to have lingered into the historic age under yet another guise. Among the [ominous days] (dies religiosi; which means religious days in Italian) of the Roman calendar were those following the Kalends, Nones, and Ides. The thirty-six dies postriduani (the days after tomorrow) were regarded as unsuitable for many purposes, both public and private. … We are told that they owed their unlucky quality to a pronouncement of the Senate and pontiffs, in consequence of the grave defeat of the Allia on the 18th of Quinctilis (July).” 3 

“In the old Roman calendar, out of three hundred and fifty-five days, nearly one third (one hundred and nine) were marked as nefasti (ominous), that is, as unlawful for judicial and political business. These days belonged wholly to the gods, while eleven more days of the year were shared by the divine and the human inhabitants of the city. … As the Roman passion for holidays and their attendant spectacles increased, we find the number of days devoted to them rising from sixty-six in the reign of Augustus to eighty-seven in that of Tiberius, and, under Marcus Aurelius, to a hundred and thirty-five. By the middle of the fourth century, their number had reached one hundred and seventy-five.” 4 

So, no wonder that the Apostle Paul spoke of “days” to the Romans and to the Greeks! 

And truly, look at how many of the people of this present evil age continue to keep and celebrate these pagan “ominous days”! Such as Samhain, Halloween, Yule, and Dies Natalis Solis Invicti (known today as Christmas)!

Also, “Months and Years” 

The Apostle Paul ── inspired by the LORD our God ── was also condemning the pagan customs of observing “months and years” 

“The Athenian calendar contained about 60 festival days during which the administration of public affairs, and all regular business, was suspended. These included, in Gamelion (January), the Lenaia, or wine feast in celebration of Dionysus (or Bacchus); in Anthesterion (February), the Anthesteria of Dionysus, the Diasia of Zeus, …” 5 and so forth and so on. “Roman Festivals … Among the most ancient were the Lupercalia to celebrate Lupercus (fertility); the Equiria (Marital); the Palilia (a spring festival for the purification of the flocks and herds); the Ludi Magni, and the great winter solstice festival, the Saturnalia, …” 6  

The Apostle Paul was warning Gentile converts not to return to these pagan practices of observing days, months, times, and years.

What Festivals and Sabbaths Does the LORD Hate?

Many people claim that God’s living word in the Old Testament claims that He hates His sabbaths and festivals! This is unequivocally not true! The LORD says, “’ I hate, I despise your feast days, And I do not savor your sacred assemblies.’” – Amos 5:21. He also tells us, “’ Your New Moons and your appointed feasts My soul hates; They are a trouble to Me, I am weary of bearing them.’” – Isaiah 1:14.

Here, the LORD our God is not speaking of His ordained and divine feasts and holy days, but rather man-appointed New Moon celebrations, and their appointed feasts that were being observed in the kingdom of Israel. 

Several chapters within God’s living word are devoted to the condemnation of the children of Israel breaking the Sabbaths and festivals that the LORD God had given. Be sure to read Ezekiel 20:12-26. 

“’ The word of the LORD came to me, saying, … 26) ‘Her priests have violated My law and profaned My holy things; they have not distinguished between the holy and unholy, nor have they made known the difference between the unclean and the clean; and they have hidden their eyes from My Sabbaths, so that I am profaned among them.’” – Ezekiel 22:17, 22. 

The children of Israel ── even up to this present day ── have not continued in the observance of His Sabbaths. They refused then, and they refuse now, His judgments and statutes! They would rather keep and celebrate pagan idolatrous festivals that all the other nations celebrate. Our secular history shows us this!

The LORD God has preserved for us a record of just such a change in God’s law, statutes, judgments, and ordinances ── when the kingdom of Israel was divided. 

“[King] Jeroboam ordained a feast on the fifteenth day of THE EIGHTH MONTH, like the feast that was in Judah, and offered sacrifices on the altar. … 33) So he made offerings on the altar which he had made at Bethel on the fifteenth day of THE EIGHTH MONTH, in the month which he had devised in his own heart. …” – I Kings 12:32, 33. 

That was the beginning steps in which the kingdom of Israel began to depart from the Lord’s Law.

Thereafter, the kingdom of Israel altered the New Moons and changed God’s Sacred Calendar. They exchanged the LORD's Sabbaths for pagan days involved in sun worship ── as in Sunday. The kingdom of Israel, celebrating the pagan feasts of Baal, turned them into rest days according to the statutes of the kings ── 

“For so it was that the children of Israel had sinned against the LORD their God, who had brought them up out of the land of Egypt, from under the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt [with Amenhotep II and Ramses II being the most commonly suggested candidates]; and they had feared other gods, 8) and had walked in the statutes of the nations whom the LORD had cast out from before the children of Israel, and of the kings of Israel, which they had made.” – 2 Kings 17:7-8.  

The LORD God has never hated nor abolished the feasts of the LORD. But the LORD our God does hate all the different days and months and seasons and years that the nations of Israel continue to keep and celebrate! □

A Nationwide Ban in Sweden on Burqas

Many people are warning that Islam is taking over Europe. There have been, over the years, European nations such as Switzerland, France, Denmark, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, and the Netherlands that have been banning burqas, niqabs, and other Islamic religious dress.

Sweden, too, is now looking into it ──

‘Islam Must Adapt To Sweden’ — Swedish Deputy PM Urges Public Burqa, Niqab Ban 

Sweden’s Deputy Prime Minister Ebba Busch has called for a nationwide ban on burqas and niqabs in all public places, saying the country must “wake up from its naivety” about Islamism and act decisively to protect Swedish values and social cohesion. 

The Christian Democrats (KD) leader told Aftonbladet that she wants legislation prohibiting the full-face coverings in streets, squares, shops, healthcare facilities, and other public settings — a step beyond previous local attempts to ban them in schools and public workplaces that were struck down under current law. 

“You should be able to meet for real if you are on the street, if you are shopping in the square, or taking the children to the health center. Then I don’t want to meet someone who has covered their entire face,” Busch said. 

She argued that the niqab and burqa are symbols of strict interpretations of Islam seen in totalitarian states, which she described as incompatible with Swedish society. 

“Islam must adapt in Sweden. You can be a proud Swedish Muslim, Christian, Jew, or atheist, but there are fundamental Swedish values that must apply to us all,” she said.

Asked to clarify whether her proposal would amount to a ban on wearing the garments outside the home, Busch replied: “Yes, that’s it. We don’t want to see burqas and niqabs out in Swedish public. Then we can’t control, and shouldn’t control, what people do at home. But the burqa doesn’t belong in Sweden and we won’t pave the way for it.”

Moslems obviously do not care that they are fundamentally changing European culture, with their absolute refusal to integrate into the established European culture and society. But, a growing number of native born Europeans are waking up to the fact that Islamic culture is overcoming their culture. And like Howard Beale in a khaki raincoat with his wet hair plastered to his head, standing up, and saying, “I'm as mad as hell, and I'm not going to take this anymore!” Many Europeans are now taking action.

Another thing related to Islamic burqas ── a type of enveloping outer garment worn by fanatical Moslem women which fully covers the body and the face ── in places like Turkey, young Islamic women are PAID by Islamic groups, that are based outside the European countries, to wear burqas. Thus, many lower-income young Islamic women wear burqas not just because of their strict interpretations of Islam, but because it adds to their income. So, certainly, while most Moslems are purposely trying to change well-established European culture ── again, and I’ll mention this again, President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance are showing Europe that it doesn’t have to be “politically correct”! 

As far as burqa bans in Europe, I have mentioned this before ── 

Switzerland narrowly voted to essentially ban the Islamic burqa. (See: ‘Switzerland to ban wearing of burqa and niqab in public places’).

This party [the Left-Democratic] says – ‘Well, we are for equal rights for women.’ And, I agree with that – nothing wrong with that. And yet, they’re defending a religion where women are treated – almost like animals. 1 They have no say in their life. They have to be shrouded in a burqa, and are not allowed to leave their house without wearing one, and a male family member with them. Many of them are horribly brutalized by “genital mutilation”. That’s the religion you guys are supporting? A religion that treats women like second-class citizens, who at the drop of a hat can divorce a woman, and one in which the men say they have the right to marry as many women as they want? Now, everything that the far-Left political movement in this country says they are for, this religion is against!

Now, this far-Left political party in America says – ‘We want to establish a culture in which alternate lifestyles are protected and defended.’ Gays, lesbians, bi-sexuality, and all of that. And yet this religion, which came out of the sands of Arabia in the 7th century, brutally murders anyone they believe is participating in some of those alternative lifestyles. 2

The time is approaching when Islam will be pushed out of a “United States of Europe.” Bans on burqas, niqabs, and other Islamic religious dress are certainly a step in that direction.

Now… I certainly cannot cover all of what God’s living word shows us in prophecy regarding the future between a Catholic-led United Europe and an Islamic federation of nations in this article ── God’s immutable word shows us that a Catholic-led United Europe will promote a temporal “peace” deal between Europe and an Islamic confederation of nations (See: Daniel 9:27; 11:27), but that ultimately, the final civic and military leader, who acts deceitfully, will essentially push Islam out and attack certain Islamic nations. I want to give you a quick overview of how we think this progression will go:

1) I think the first people to take it on the chin, who are seriously afflicted, are what we would call the nations of Israel (Ephraim and Manasseh), and I think we understand who those nations are. And, Judah. In the Book of Jeremiah, chapter 37, calls it ‘Jacob’s trouble.’ So, it seems like the nations of Israel (Ephraim, Manasseh) and Judah are really the first people to be overcome!

2) And then, I think the next people to be badly afflicted are the Western portions of the Islamic confederation. We just read about this in Daniel 11. The nations of Egypt, Edom (Turkey), Moab (Syria/Iraq), and Ammon (Jordan). And you know, we’re told in the Book of Obadiah that these people are simply wiped out! Verse 8 – “’ Will I not in that day,’ says the LORD, ‘Even destroy the wise men from Edom [Edom, Esau, Turkey, they all mean the same], And understanding from the mountains of Esau?’” – and the reason that the LORD God seems to single out Turkey? He looks upon them as Jacob’s brother. Remember, Esau and Jacob were brothers. And, at the time of the end, notice Verse 10 – “‘ For violence against your brother Jacob, Shame shall cover you, And you shall be cut off forever. 11) In the day that you stood on the other side – In the day that strangers [the people of Europe] carried captive his forces, When foreigners entered his gates And cast lots for Jerusalem – Even you were as one of them.’” Verse 12 – “’ But you should not have gazed on the day of your brother In the day of his captivity; Nor should you have rejoiced over the children of Judah [modern-day Israel] In the day of their destruction; Nor should you have spoken proudly In the day of distress. 13) You should not have entered the gate of My people In the day of their calamity. Indeed, you should not have gazed on their affliction In the day of their calamity, Nor laid hands on their substance In the day of their calamity. 14) You should not have stood at the crossroads To cut off those among them who escaped; …’” – and it seems as though the people of modern-day Israel (Judah), as they see this trouble coming, some of them try to escape, they go north, they want to escape over into Europe. And it seems that Turkey stands ‘at the crossroads’ at that sea gate and says, “No, we’re not gonna let ya!” And they even take them captive! And for this cruelty and betrayal, the LORD God really takes it out on Turkey! Verse 15 – “’ For the Day of the LORD upon all nations is near; As you have done, it shall be done to you; …’” – and He talks about wiping out the entire country! A very severe penalty! But that’s the second part of this progression of events.

3) Notice that the next part is that the Eastern portions of the Islamic confederation seem to have a counterattack. And I think we read about this in Revelation chapter 9, verse 13 - “Then the sixth angel sounded: And I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar which is before God, 14) saying to the sixth angel who had the trumpet, ‘Release the four angels who are bound at the great river Euphrates.’” – Remember, we know from the Book of Daniel that many times angelic beings are in charge, as it were, of different nations. And he seems to say, ‘let these four nation groups loose,’ Verse 15 - “…prepared for the hour and day and month and year, were released to kill a third of mankind.’” – a terrible bloody battle! And this massive Islamic army will end up being comprised of 200 million men! And it seems to me that maybe we have Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan, and the Moslem people of India on a counterattack! They want to get in on this fight! And in the end, they are absorbed by much of this – they are simply destroyed!

4) And then there’s another group of people who are severely afflicted in these end-time events! The great whore – and I’m just using a word from God's living word. Revelation chapter 17, he said, Verse 1 – “…’ Come, I will show you the judgment of the great whore who sits on many waters,…” – a religious institution which has held sway over many people across the earth for a long time! Notice Verse 16 – “’ And the ten horns …” – this is in reference to a great Catholic-led European combine. “…’ which you saw on the beast, these will hate the whore, …’” – somewhere as these events progress – remember in the beginning, Europe is flying pretty high, it's winning battles, it's conquering people, it's taking territory, it's reigning supreme. But somewhere, this all of a sudden slows down, and things start to turn against Europe. Even they get bloodied! And as their fortunes decline, the hatred that the people have for this great false church grows in intensity. And before it’s over, as it says, ‘they shall hate the whore – “…make her desolate and naked, eat her flesh and burn her with fire. 17) For God has put it into their hearts to fulfill His purpose, …’” – and this whole chapter 18 talks about the great whore being destroyed. You read, Verse 8 – “’ Therefore her plagues will come in one day – death and mourning and famine. And she will be utterly burned with fire, …’” – and you can read multiple places where it gives the same type of description. Of the great whore – her own historic “mother” countries turn against her - this universal church. And they just ravish her out of hatred and contempt! 

5) And then there’s one more group of people. Very small in number, but very significant! Which gets their day of vengeance at the end-time. Notice Revelation chapter 19, verse 19 – “And I saw the beast, the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against Him who sat on the horse and against His army.’” – the resurrected saints of Almighty God! Verse 20 – “Then the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet who worked signs in his presence, by which he deceived those who received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image. These two were cast alive into the lake of fire burning with brimstone.” And then, chapter 20, the first three verses give us the last part of this – total and complete wiping out of evil. When Satan the Devil and his demons are bound in a great spiritual prison for one thousand years!

So, there is a progression. Bit by bit. □

1) Islam teaches “Men have authority over women because [Allah] has made the one superior to the other, and because they spend their wealth to maintain them. Good women are obedient. They guard their unseen parts because [Allah] has guarded them. As for those from whom you fear disobedience, admonish them, forsake them in beds apart, and beat them. …” – Quran (4:34).

2) As https://www.thereligionofpeace.com/pages/quran/homosexuality.aspx points out, the Quran says, “...For ye practice your lusts on men in preference to women: ye are indeed a people transgressing beyond bounds.... And we rained down on them a shower (of brimstone)" – Quran (7:80-84). Moslem scholars through the centuries have interpreted the "rain of stones" on the town as meaning that homosexuals should be stoned, since no other reason is given for the people's destruction.
