Greetings to all those visiting us on our new website ── our brethren,
friends, and co-workers in Christ in Luleå, Norrbottens län, Sweden; Clonee,
Ireland; Quebec, Canada; and Baqa al-Gharbiyye, Hefa, Israel. Welcome! Thank
you for joining us today for the
Church of Jesus Christ Online Ministries (COJCOM), here in Spring Hill,
Florida ── just down the road from live mermaids! Tag line: “Believe It, Or
Not!”
Today, I want to speak about one of the most frightening threats that we have
in the world ── nuclear terrorism. We need to know what our LORD God (the
Elohim; the family of God ── which in this age consists of God the Father and
our Lord Jesus Christ!) has to say concerning our future. This world’s future.
And, we need to realize that
“the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep; for now our
salvation is nearer than when we first believed.”
– Romans 13:11. Truly, ever since ── officially, July 16th, 1945 ── nuclear
annihilation has threatened everyone’s life on this planet.
What does the
Holy Bible ── which I call “God’s
living word,”
because it is
“living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even
to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a
discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.”
– Hebrews 4:12 ── in prophecy tells us of what is going to happen? The only
reliable and trustworthy word we have
is the LORD God’s! Because, as I
asked at the beginning of our five-part series
“Revelation ── A Book of the Past and the Future,”
If you could know the future, would you want to know? And, what would you do
with that information?
This world entered into this most dangerous of times nearly eighty years ago.
In fact ── officially the morning of 6 August 1945, at 08:15, the
Enola Gay
dropped an estimated 141-pound atomic bomb on Hiroshima, Japan! And in a split
second ── and estimates vary greatly ── 66,000 were instantly killed, 69,000
injured, respectively. The Japanese-led reconsiderations estimate the death
toll at 140,000 by the end of the year.

Over 60 thousand lives were instantly gone in the blink of an eye! And then,
just three days later, the
Fat Man
── containing a core of about 11 pounds of plutonium-- was dropped over the
city of Nagasaki, Japan. The resulting explosion released the equivalent
energy of 21 ± 2 kilotons! The 1951 U.S.-led Joint Commission reported 39,214
instantly killed and 25,153 injured. The Japanese-led reconsideration
estimated in the 70s over 70,000 were dead in Nagasaki by the end of the year.

Warned by one of the brightest of minds at the time ── Albert Einstein, on
Aug. 2, 1939, in a letter addressed to President Franklin D Roosevelt, was
warning that the Nazis might be developing nuclear weapons. Einstein urged the
United States to stockpile uranium ore and begin work on its own atomic
weapons. It was later that he was quoted as saying, “Had I known that the
Germans would not succeed in producing an atomic bomb, I would never have
lifted a finger.” But, it was too late ── the Manhattan Project was born.
3 This world moved into what
is called the Atomic Era.
Now the United States
of America has a B83 variable-yield thermonuclear
gravity bomb with a maximum yield of 1.2 megatons of TNT! At least officially.
According to some sources, such as the Federation of American Scientists, the
B83 is to be “retired” within this year. Then, the W88 nuclear warhead on
Trident D5LE missile will become the most powerful nuclear weapon in the U.S.
arsenal ── at a yield of 475 kilotons. Well, can we say… “semantics”? And I
say this because ── according to
NUKEMAP
created by Alex Wellerstein, a 475-kiloton nuclear bomb exploding at a height
of 200 ft. above the surface of the planet over a major metropolis city (here
simulated – Washington, D.C), the estimated fatalities would be over 417,000
or more, with injuries totaling upwards of 687,000!
Just one of these nuclear warheads would devastate any major city ── wiping
out vast sections! Now ── and I’m not trying to scare you, but just bring this
to your attention ── in 2025, the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists and the
Federation of American Scientists estimate that China has over 500 nuclear
warheads. 4 In fact, in 2022,
the United States Strategic Command indicated that China is equipped
with even more nuclear warheads on its ICBMs than the United States (550
according to the New START treaty).

And of course, we have come to know that along with the U.S. ── Russia, the
U.K., France, China, India, Pakistan, Israel, and North Korea, all have
nuclear weapons! And in the recent meeting with President Donald Trump,
Italy’s Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni stated that their nuclear ambition is to
finalize by the end of 2027 a plan allowing the use of nuclear “power” again
after it was banned almost 40 years ago. Remember ── they were on the wrong
side of World War II.
‘Great Tribulation’ Never Seen Before!
There is one nation ── that is the number one state sponsor of terrorism.
Iran. And just two days ago, Rafael Grossi, head of the International Atomic
Energy Agency (IAEA), warned that Iran is “not far” from a nuclear bomb.
6 Do you think that they would
use a nuclear bomb to strike at “the Great Satan,” or “the Little Satan”? What
about one of their many proxies?
Friends, let this marinate in your mind a moment. What if a truly evil man ──
a leader of a nation ── initiates taking the first step of setting one off
upon a major or minor nation? A 2025 article by Louis René Beres stated,
“While a continuing conventional war between Israel and Iran could produce
grave harms for Israel, even the most glaringly injurious harms would pale in
comparison to those of a nuclear conflict. … This is the case even if only
“small” (low yield) nuclear weapons were used by Tehran.”
7 What about this Ali Khamenei
── is he a truly evil man?
“On December 11, Iran’s … Ali Khamenei delivered his first speech following
Syrian president Bashar al-Assad’s fall, … During the 51-minute ramble, he
offered no ideas, messages, or meaningful content. His speech was riddled
with delusions – a chaotic and unsettling display.
Khamenei’s arguments came across as childish and riddled with lies and
contradictions, and his sentences were often incoherent and disjointed. He
embodies the traits of a stubborn, fearful, vengeful, and irrational
dictator. …
The ruthless tyrant of Iran demonstrated that he still lacks any
understanding of reality: He fundamentally fails to comprehend international
relations and remains immersed in his own delusions and fantasies.”

Does this sound like a man who would lash out in desperation? Is he surrounded
by “yes-men”? Mahmoud Hakamian on the
People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran website wrote, “Iranian people
once and for all buried the myth of reformism during the nationwide protests
in 2018 by chanting, “reformists, hardliners, the game is over.” They have
rejected any return to the past, as demonstrated in the popular slogan of
“monarchy, the absolute rule of clergy, one hundred years of crime.” They
consider regime change as the only solution to all their problems, as evident
in their slogan of “poverty, corruption high prices, we continue until regime
change.” 9
Indeed, regime change is coming to Iran. But, at what cost?

Let’s take a look at Bible prophecy. The truth is terrifying. I want to cover
with you the name of this subheading, let’s turn to the Book of Matthew 24,
which contains one of our Lord Jesus’ greatest prophecies. It’s also recorded
for us in Mark 13 and Luke 21. I first learned of this some 44 years ago! I
want to bring certain truths out to you that maybe I haven’t stressed before
── but also, because of what is happening in world news in this generation
towards the end of this present evil age.
In Jerusalem, our Lord Jesus had just come out of the Temple with His
disciples, and they were showing Him the buildings of the Temple. And, all of
a sudden, He says to them,
“’ Do you not see all these things? Assuredly, I say to you, not one stone
shall be left here upon another, that shall not be thrown down.’”
– Matthew 24:1-2.
The disciples were certainly proud of the temple, and they wanted to share
with our Lord the awe-inspiring grandeur of the Temple and its buildings. This
certainly was a shocking statement to them from our Lord. But A.D. 33 would be
the year that changed the world!
During the 30s ── and even on into the 50s ── the Roman emperorship was passed
on from Tiberius to Claudius, then to Gaius Caligula, and then to Nero. At the
same time, the political rule of the Romans in Judea was exercised by Herod
Agrippa, the grandson of Herod the Great ── followed by a whole slew of
procurators, including Festus and Felix of whom we read about in the Book of
Acts. Then there was Florus – the main instigator of the First Jewish Revolt.
10 Upon taking office in
Caesarea in AD 62, he began favoring the local Greek population of the city
over the Jewish population. He further angered the Jewish population of his
province by having seventeen talents removed from the treasury of the Temple
in Jerusalem, claiming the money was for the Emperor. In response to this
action, the city fell into unrest, and some of the Jewish population
began to openly mock Florus by passing a basket around to collect money as if
Florus were poor. 11
And, they asked Him,
“ … Tell us, when will these things be? …”
He had been telling them that the Temple was going to be destroyed ── ‘not one
stone shall be left here upon another.’
And, they also asked Him another embedded question ──
“ … And what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the
age?”
– Matthew 24:3.
Our Lord Jesus Christ’s second coming and the end of the age were not going to
occur in their lifetime. But our Lord Jesus knew that the destruction of the
Temple would come in but thirty-seven short years later! Many frightful
massacres of Jews had occurred in Judea before the end of the last period, but
it was in AD 70, about two years after the Apostle Paul's death, that Titus
destroyed Jerusalem and the Temple.
However, our Lord Jesus Christ warned them ── as well as us in
this generation ──
“ …’ Take heed that no one deceives you. 5)
For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will
deceive many.’”
– Matthew 24:4-5.
Just as prevalent today as it was in the 1st century ── there were other
teachers around Jerusalem and Judea in general, each with their own audiences.
Called “Messianic movements.” Flavius Josephus mentions dozens or more
“Messiah” figures beginning with Judas, the son of Hezekiah (or rather, Judas
the Galilean), circa. 6 AD. Also, Simon of Perea was a significant yet
often overlooked figure in the turbulent period of Judea under Roman rule.
Claiming royal lineage and asserting himself as a messianic figure, Simon
adopted the title of king.

Self-appointed Messiahs or “divinely appointed kings” were prevalent during
the time of our Lord Jesus Christ, as well as after His death and glorious
resurrection unto life.
“For some time ago Theudas rose up, claiming to be somebody. A number of
men, about four hundred joined him. He was slain, and all who obeyed him
were scattered and came to nothing. 37) After this man, Judas of Galilee
rose up in the days of the census, and drew away many people after him. He
also perished, and all who obeyed him were dispersed.”
– Acts 5:36-37.
And, even though many were (and are) deceived by these messiah wannabes, our
Lord Jesus Christ tells us,
“’ My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.’”
– John 10:27. And the reason we hear His voice ── and know His voice ── is
because of the glorious Holy Spirit. So, contrary to popular belief ── this is
not about someone saying, ‘I am Christ,’ trying to make everyone believe that
they are the Messiah – like, here recently, Vernon Howell, who changed his
name to David Koresh, professing himself to be the spiritual descendant of
King David – hence Jesus Christ. This is actually talking about people who
will represent Jesus Christ. They will say, ‘Jesus is Christ! Jesus is Lord!’
And they will use that to deceive many.
The overall majority of our peoples can’t understand how they could be
deceived ── those who profess to be Christians. Yet, our Lord Jesus Christ
says,
“’ Hypocrites! Well did Isaiah prophesy about you, saying:

‘These people draw near to Me with their mouth, And honor Me with
their lips, But their heart is far from Me.
9)
And IN VAIN they worship Me, Teaching as doctrines the commandments of
men.’”
– Matthew 15:7-9.
And they make the Law of God,
“ …’ the commandment [the word] of God of no effect by your traditions.’” – vs. 6.
The majority of professing Christians have been taught and believe that the
Ten Commandments were “done away with,” or “nailed to the cross.” Our Lord
Jesus Himself says to us,
“’ If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have
kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love.’”
– John 15:10. He also says, “’ DO NOT THINK that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets
[meaning, the first five Books of the Bible, including the Books of the
prophets], I did not come to destroy but to fulfill.’” – Matthew 5:17.
Sadly, I have personally heard many a minister say that the word ‘fulfill’
means that He did it all for us and that we don’t have to do it at all. That
word ‘fulfill’ actually is plēroō in Greek, meaning “to do them.”
Because someone had to completely obey Almighty God’s Law perfectly. And He
certainly did. They had to be obeyed perfectly.
I was absolutely enthralled to have learned some forty-four years ago that
nearly everything that they teach you at Sunday church is just the opposite of
what God’s living, eternal word says! Because if one blows the
dust off their Holy Bible, and truly looks to see what God’s word
actually says ── and again, the living word of God ── it is exactly
opposite of what so many Sunday-going churches believe is the gospel.
We’ve been hearing so many gospels being preached around the world! Today, as
it was so long ago (cf. Galatians 1:6-9), many preach a different gospel –
“which is not another.” Some
call what they preach, “the gospel of salvation,” or “the gospel of the grace
of God,” or even “the gospel of Proven Principles and of
Winning Formulas,” “the gospel of Church and Christian Ministry,” along
with “the gospel of the Great Man,” “the gospel of reincarnation,” “the gospel
of political ideology.” Or even the Seventh-day Adventists’ “the gospel of the
Three Angels”! Then, there’s the gospel, or rather the message, about going
off to Heaven. Then some preach about Christ only – about His title.
Now, they may call it the gospel of Christ, but none of these is the gospel
that JESUS CHRIST taught and preached!
If you’ll notice the Book of Mark, chapter 1, and verse 1 ──
“The BEGINNING of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God.”
Then the Apostle Mark ── under divine inspiration of God’s Spirit ── speaks
about John the Baptist who came
“baptizing in the wilderness and preaching a baptism of repentance for the
remission of sins,”
preparing the way before Him.
“The voice of one crying in the wilderness: ‘Prepare the way of the LORD;
Make His paths straight.’”
– Mark 1:2 & 4.
Then in verses 12 and 13 ──
“Immediately the Spirit drove Him into the wilderness. 13) And He was there
in the wilderness forty days, tempted by Satan, and was with the wild
beasts; and the angels ministered to Him.”
And then, we come to verse 14 ──
“Now after John was put in prison, Jesus came to Galilee, PREACHING THE
GOSPEL OF THE KINGDOM OF GOD.”
That’s the gospel He was preaching, my friends. THE KINGDOM OF GOD.
The kingdom of God is a government. It’s the family of God; the born
family of God administering the government of God over the whole world and
over all nations, countries, and provinces. Sadly, the overall majority of our
peoples around the world still don’t properly know what the gospel is ──
because it is still not being revealed to them.
Our Lord Jesus continued,
“and saying, ‘The time is fulfilled, …’”
A great many things were occurring in the first century that ── at least
objectively ── seem to make it ideal for our Lord Jesus to come at that moment
in time.
To name but a couple:
-
Many Jews were of great anticipation at that moment in time that the
Messiah would come.
-
Under the Roman government (which the United States of America, in
its founding, was heavily influenced by), travel was relatively safer than
at any other time, allowing the early Christians to spread the gospel far
and wide. Truly, such freedom of travel would have been virtually
impossible before this time.
Prophetically, our Lord Jesus came when He did in the fulfillment of a
specific prophecy. We have spoken of this at length many times. Daniel 9:24-25
──
“’ SEVENTY WEEKS are determined For your people and for your holy city,
To finish the transgression, To make an end of sins, To make
reconciliation for iniquity, To bring in everlasting righteousness, To
seal up vision and prophecy, And to anoint the Most Holy.
25) Know therefore and understand, That from the going forth of the
command To restore and build Jerusalem UNTIL MESSIAH THE PRINCE, There
shall be SEVEN WEEKS AND SIXTY-TWO WEEKS; The street shall be built again,
and the wall, Even in troublesome times.
26) And after the SIXTY-TWO WEEKS Messiah shall be cut off, but not for
Himself; And the people of the prince who is to come Shall destroy the
city and the sanctuary. The end of it shall be with a flood, And till the
end of the war desolations are determined.
27) Then [H]e shall confirm a covenant with many for ONE WEEK; But in the
middle of the week He shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering.
…’”
Daniel 9 gives us a clue: It contains what is often referred to as the SEVENTY
WEEKS PROPHECY. Verse 27 – Remember, in verse 25, we see the word “Messiah.”
That’s who we’re talking about here in verse 27. The “he,” who – JESUS CHRIST
– “he shall confirm a covenant with many for one week;” Which in Bible
parlance, one day for a year – this is SEVEN YEARS. “But in the middle of the
week, He shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering.” Now, who was the
ultimate sacrifice? Jesus Christ. When did He die? When was He executed? He
was executed on a WEDNESDAY, in the middle of the week. His human life ended
after 3½ years of His public ministry. It was for SEVEN YEARS that He
was supposed to have a very special dispensation. And He lived upon this earth
for 3½ years, it begs the question: What became of the other 3½ years?
Well, the other 3½ years will be fulfilled in those events upon His return,
and for 3½ years the Millennium doesn’t really start, UNTIL AFTER 3½ years.
Because Jesus Christ, for 3½ years, is, as it were, remolding and reshaping
the Earth – the people of the Earth. He’s getting the attitudes right. We are
told “as a Rod of Iron.” And, Jesus Christ WILL wield that club, and we ── God
willing ── as born members resurrected, will also be wielding a club. The LORD
God uses the physical people of Israel as part of His club.
“ …
‘ and the kingdom of God is at hand. Repent, and believe in the
gospel.’”
– Mark 1:15.
False Ministers
I would like you to notice; just some sixteen years after our Lord and Savior
Jesus Christ said that the kingdom of God was at hand, the Apostle Paul,
writing to the Church of God in Galatia (an ancient area in the highlands of
central Anatolia ── modern Turkey), wrote ──
“I marvel that you are turning away so soon from Him who called you in the
grace of Christ, to A DIFFERENT GOSPEL, 7) which is not another; but there
are some who trouble you and want to pervert the GOSPEL OF CHRIST.”
– Galatians 1:6-7.
What other gospel at this time was being preached?
Well, from the context, we come to understand that this other gospel is
teaching that one must be circumcised. More generically, however, it can be
expressed as a requirement to adhere to Jewish customs. In other words,
Christians are to live and act as Jews to share the glorious blessings given
to Abraham.
Certainly, THREE POINTS can be observed throughout the text ──
-
In Chapter 2:3-5, the Apostle Paul explains to us that when he went up to
Jerusalem, not even Titus, who was with him, was compelled by the Spirit
to be circumcised ── that there were false brethren who secretly brought
in this bondage. And that he did not yield submission, that
“the truth of the gospel might continue with you.”
So right here we see that the Apostle Paul was not compelled to be
circumcised. But rather, continue in the
“liberty which we have in Christ Jesus.”
-
However, in the Apostle Paul’s rebuke to the Apostle Peter, Chapter 2:14,
we see that it went even beyond just circumcision. It delved into
hypocrisy. Paul asks Peter how it is that he can command Gentiles to
adhere to Jewish customs. The Apostle Paul saw that they were not being
“straightforward about the truth of the gospel.”

Chapter 2:16 brings even more clarity to his point, that a man is not
justified by the works of the Mosaic Law – the Old Covenant – and all the
Jewish customs, but by faith in Jesus Christ.
And that was what was going on within sixteen years after the death and
glorious resurrection of our Lord Jesus; the truth of the gospel was becoming
muddled. From a historical viewpoint ── After the resurrection of our Lord
Jesus, the first apostles of Christ approached “synagogue communities that
were established in the Hellenistic period. They would have encountered
different groups of Jews who had their own individual views of a messiah and
the kingdom of God. … God-fearing Gentiles began to show interest. Due to this
unexpected interest, both Paul and Luke reported a meeting in Jerusalem (c. 49
CE) to decide how to include these people. Conversion to Judaism involved the
physical identity markers of Jews: circumcision, dietary laws, ... In Acts 15,
during the Council of Jerusalem, James, Jesus’s brother, issued the decision
that these Gentiles did not have to convert to Judaism.

Today ── as was so long ago ── a “different gospel” is being taught.
Judeo-Christianity. They are claiming to be ministers of Christ. Notice 2nd
Corinthians 11:13 ──
“For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming
themselves into apostles of Christ. 14) And no wonder! For Satan himself
transforms himself into an angel of light. 15) Therefore it is no
great thing if his ministers also transform themselves into ministers of
righteousness, whose end will be according to their works.”
– 2 Corinthians 11:13-15.
Brethren and Friends, just like what has been happening to me here lately from
a couple of ministers ── accusations being hurled against me from crooked
voices claiming that I am a false minister. Here, the Apostle Paul turns the
tables, telling the brethren in Corinth who the men making such
accusations really are. The Apostle Paul bluntly called them false apostles ──
deceitful workers. Likely the very charge they had made against him. These men
are claiming to be representatives of Christ, yet preaching hate. O’ they
might preach a version of Christ and the gospel of Christ (there in ancient
Corinth they were probably a group of men called “Judaizers”), and this is why
the Apostle Paul calls them “deceitful workers” ── they have come to the
Corinthians under disguise, pretending to be apostles of Christ. They did not
deny our Lord Jesus’ message outright, but rather destroyed the true gospel of
God by adding components of the works of the law.
They are but pretending to be ministers of Christ and in so many cases
deceiving even themselves ── sincerely believing ── that they are ministers of
Christ; and claiming that they “preach Christ to the world!” It certainly
began in the mid-first century, and it is continuing to this very day. Yet,
our Lord Jesus Christ tells us,
“’ And in vain they worship Me, Teaching as doctrines the commandments of
men.’”
– Matthew 15:9.
“’ making the word of God of no effect through your tradition which you
have handed down. And many such things you do.’”
– Mark 7:13.
Truly, nearly forty-four years ago, I came across a challenge ── “Stop and
think! Would a Creator, having supreme intelligence, wisdom, and love, to
think out, plan, design, and bring about all creation - this earth and all
life upon it - have left human beings in ignorance of His purpose?” And, the
first thing I needed to do was to prove to myself that
God exists. I had always supposed it. I had been brought up by my parents in the belief
in a God.
So ── I began studying evolution. I went to my local library, checked out
On the Origin of Species, went home, and studied it intensely. After
all, there are so many who claim that the creation of mankind at the beginning
of the Book of Genesis, the creation week, and all of that is just a lot of
myths and fables that never actually happened. Because, they claim, as they
praise the likes of Stephen Hawking, everything came by natural selection and
resident forces, and not by an intelligent and masterful mind, who designed
everything, brought everything into existence, and the very One who created
gravity and friction to retard the expansion of the universe in a given
region. They believe the Big Bang was an inevitable consequence of the laws of
physics. Well, that’s like believing that this computer in front of me
here just brought itself out of the ground and put all its various pieces
together, plugged itself into an electrical outlet, and started working. There
wasn’t any computer manufacturer. No one designed it or equipped it with
modeling software or gave it a CPU.
I proved that this Holy Bible is the LORD God speaking. The Bible is
God speaking.
Great Troubles Are Coming!
Great troubles are coming upon the Earth ── and we are in the time that our
Lord Jesus has called “the beginning of sorrows.” Of course, this isn’t what
He has called “great tribulation” – or rather, great troubles. It’s going to
get far worse than anything we could ever imagine ── including, in all
likelihood, nuclear weapons. Yet, I want you to notice this ──
“’ Immediately, after the tribulation of those days the sun will be
darkened, and the moon will not give its light [possibly because the atmosphere will be thick with volcanic ash, and or
even a nuclear winter]; the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be
shaken.’ [meaning Satan and his demons will be expunged from the atmosphere of the
earth] 30) Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, …’” – Matthew 24:29-30.
There’s a term that has developed basically within the last century among some
fundamentalist-type churches of the Christian ilk, talking about the rapture.
And this is simply not a correct theological teaching. And many times when
people use the words, they say,
“the secret rapture.”
Well, there won’t be any secrets when Jesus is returning! Because, as Jesus
says in verse 27 –
“’ For as the lightning comes from the east and flashes to the west, so
also will the coming of the Son of Man.’”
- When the throne of God, when New Jerusalem, begins to return to this earth,
at some point it will be a little small light in the night sky. And the next
night it will be a little brighter – like the star Sirius. And then, it
becomes more and more obvious – and people will look up and go, “What is
that?” Now, most of the people of the world will think it is – and they really
will – an invading alien force! There is nothing secret about it!
The very throne of GOD, Jesus Christ, God the Father, and the resurrected
saints!
Keep in mind, the resurrection occurs on the SEVENTH TRUMP. The seven last
plagues follow that. So, we will already be in “low earth orbit” in the
clouds, being with Jesus Christ, in preparation for the time He, Jesus Christ,
directly engages humankind.
