‘Seek First the Kingdom of God!’

Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ has admonished us to ‘seek first and foremost the kingdom of God and His righteousness.’ – Matthew 6:33. And our beloved Apostle Paul wrote ──

“See then that you walk circumspectly [meaning, cautiously, wary, prudent], not as fools but as wise, 16) REDEEMING THE TIME, because the days are evil.

17) Therefore do not be unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord is [in other words, what the will of the Lord is for you]. 18) And do not be drunk with wine, in which is dissipation [as in, wasteful expenditure]; but be filled with the Spirit.” – Ephesians 5:15-18.

Brethren, Friends, and Co-Workers ── we must know what the LORD God’s will is for us. As our Lord Jesus Christ has told us, “’ If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me.’” – Matthew 16:24.

Now, if you don’t know what God’s will is for you, then seek the Eternal One. Seek the LORD with ‘all your heart, mind, and soul’ ── because those who earnestly seek Him find Him (cf. Jeremiah 29:13-14). Seek Him through prayer and through His living word ── the Holy Bible. The LORD God reveals His will to those who earnestly seek Him ──

“Teach me to do Your will, For You are my God; Your Spirit is good.” – Psalm 143:10.

“And do not be conformed to THIS WORLD, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.” – Romans 12:2.

We must be obedient and faithful. Our Lord Jesus has said, “’ If you love Me, keep My commandments.’” – John 14:15. We must live according to the LORD God’s moral guidance and teachings in alignment with His will ──

“He has shown you, O man, what is good; And what does the LORD require of you But to do justly, To love mercy, And to walk HUMBLY with your God?” – Micah 6:8.

“Rejoice always, 17) pray without ceasing, 18) in EVERYTHING give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus FOR YOU.” – 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18.

Let us not waste the time we have frivolously.

We are a lot closer to the end of this present evil age than we were when we began this glorious journey! Clearly, the horrific and appalling geopolitical, military, economic, and social developments that are currently happening in the Middle East should have every one of us ‘watching’ and paying attention! ──

“’ Watch therefore, for YOU DO NOT KNOW when the master of the house is coming ──’” – and anyone that says they do, is a liar. “’ … in the evening, at midnight, at the crowing of the rooster, or in the morning ── 26) lest, coming suddenly, he find you sleeping. 37) And what I say to you, I say to all: Watch!’” – Mark 13:35-37.

And it’s not just watching world politics shaping itself like a clown shapes a balloon into a dog; it’s also watching that we are always walking with the LORD God and are always doing His will. There is indeed a limited time for us to ‘take up our cross’ and develop the Godly character necessary to eventually be born-again into the glorious family of God. Truly, the ruler of this earthly kingdom knows this: That those in the highest heavens are rejoicing! And great woe is soon coming to the inhabitants of the earth and the sea, because this ruler, the Devil and Satan, will soon be thrown down to the ground, forbidden to be in the atmosphere of the kingdom he rules ── he knows he has but a short time left, and he will have great wrath! – cf. Revelation 12:12.

Our beloved Apostle Peter has warned us ──

“Therefore HUMBLE yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, … 8) Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. 9) RESIST HIM, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world.” – 1 Peter 5:6, 8-9.

We, dear brethren, should not be ignorant of his devices ── 2 Corinthians 2:11.

And yes ── our enemies do go about ‘roaring like a lion,’ which means, like a lion roars to proclaim its territory, dominance, and to scatter any rival males ── Satan and his minions use fear, lies, and even a seed of bitterness and jealousy to destabilize a follower of our Christ Jesus. And he will also use “ministers of righteousness” ──

“But what I do, I will also continue to do, that I may CUT OFF the opportunity from those who desire an opportunity to be regarded just as we are in the things of which they boast.

13) For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into apostles of Christ. 14) AND NO WONDER! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light [or, even Marian apparitions]. 15) Therefore it is no great thing if HIS MINISTERS also transform themselves into ministers of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works.” – 2 Corinthians 11:12-15.

Now, just like the fawning sycophants that I have come across since I first began this living work of God ── as an example: Be sure to read our article “You're Not Welcome Here!” they too, to an undiscerning eye, look just like a ‘minister of righteousness’ ── O’ my, they wear a suit and tie, and they’re not dressed like “The Dude”! Yet, our Lord Jesus Christ has told us, “’ Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but INWARDLY they are ravenous wolves. 16) You will know them by their fruits. …’” – Matthew 7:15-16.

You will know them by their very own character.

Thorns Among the Wheat

And great multitudes were gathered together to Him

Our Lord and Savior ── the very soon-coming King of kings and Lord of lords ── has warned us within a parable ──

“On the same day Jesus went out of [His] house and sat by the sea. 2) And great multitudes were gathered together to Him, so that He got into a boat and sat; and the whole multitude stood on shore. 3) Then He spoke many things to them in parables, saying: ‘Behold, a sower went out to sow. 4) And as he sowed, some seed fell by the wayside; and the birds came and devoured them. 5) Some fell on stony places, where they did not have much earth; and they immediately sprang up because they had no depth of earth. 6) But when the sun was up they were scorched, and because they had no root they withered away. 7) And some fell among thorns, and the thorns sprang up and choked them. 8) But others fell on good ground and yielded a crop: some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty. 9) He who has ears to hear, let him hear!’” – Matthew 13:1-9.

He later explains this parable to His disciples ──

“And the disciples came and said to Him, ‘Why do You speak to them in parables?’ 11) He answered and said to them, ‘Because it has been given to you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it has not been given.

18) Therefore hear the parable of the sower: 19) When anyone hears the word of the kingdom [the gospel of the kingdom], and does not understand it, then the wicked one comes and snatches away what was sown in his heart. This is he who received seed by the wayside. 20) But he who received the seed on stony places, this is he who hears the word and immediately receives it with joy; 21) YET he has no root in himself, but endures only for a while. For when tribulation or persecution arises because of the word [or, as an example: when one reads articles intended to strongly influence your faith, like “The Daughter of Babylon” by Bruce Renehan, and one has no solid root], he immediately stumbles. 22) Now he who received seed among the thorns is he who HEARS THE WORD, and the cares of this world and the deceitfulness of riches choke the word, and he becomes unfruitful.

23) But he who received seed on the good ground is he who hears the word and understands it, who indeed bears fruit and produces: some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.’” – Matthew 13:10-11, 19-23.

An old adage goes, “It’s not how much you read in a lifetime, but it’s what you read.”

Our LORD God sows the seed everywhere, even among thorns, to show that His calling can land in a heart already tangled with worries, wealth, and other worldly distractions. Those “thorns” can choke the growth, but the seed still carries the promise that, if the person turns away from those things, it can still bear fruit!

Our Lord Jesus has also warned that there will be a generation [a certain era] that witnesses all the signs that He has warned would occur before the coming dreadful and dark Day of the LORD ──

“’ Now learn this parable from the fig tree [a fig tree represents modern-day Israel, ‘those who are in Judea’]: When its branch has already become tender and puts forth leaves …’” ── “’ … you know that summer is near.’”

33) So you also, when you see all these things, know that it is near ── at the doors!

34) Assuredly, I say to you, this generation will by no means pass away till all these things take place.’” – Matthew 24:32-34.

And it is absolutely true: the original and partial fulfillment of this prophecy was the events leading up to AD 70 and the utter destruction of the second temple, but it also has a final fulfillment in our time.

Our beloved Apostle Luke recorded ──

“ Then He spoke to them a parable: ‘Look at the fig tree [again, modern-day nation of Israel], and all the trees [the surrounding nations in the Middle East]. 30) When they are already budding, you see and know for yourselves that summer is now near.’” – Luke 21:29-30.

Straightforward and in its simplest meaning ── this war with Iran (the Islamic Regime of Iran) and its proxies could indeed be hastening the ‘summer’ that our Lord Jesus was speaking of in His dual prophecy. Please note: Summer in biblical prophecy is often a metaphor for the end of a season.

We appear to be in ‘this generation.’

So, Brethren, Friends, and Co-Workers ── not only are we to ‘watch!’ and pray always, but we are also to ──

“’ Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass [and even the things that are currently coming to pass], and to stand before the Son of Man.’” – Luke 21:36.

Certainly, to be ‘counted worthy’ refers to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ calling on us to be vigilant and always prayerful to remain spiritually prepared for the end-time events. He is emphasizing spiritual readiness and reliance upon Him, solidly grounded in our faith ‘which was once for all delivered to the saints.’

Be Not Lukewarm In Our Faith

Another warning our Lord Jesus gave His Church is ‘not to be lukewarm’ ──

“’ These things says the Amen, the Faithful and True Witness, the Beginning of the creation of God: ‘I know your works, that you …’” – here speaking to many that are part of the Body of Christ. “ …’that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot. 16) So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot [let’s remember His parable He gave regarding the ‘thorns among the wheat,’ ‘But he who received the seed on stony places, this is he who hears the word and immediately receives it with joy; YET he has no root in himself, but endures only for a while.’ – Matthew 13:20, 21], I will vomit you out of My mouth.’” – Revelation 3:14, 15-16.

Indeed, procrastination in our faith is like being lukewarm because both reveal a lack of wholehearted commitment to the LORD God.

Our beloved Apostle James wrote ──

“If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. 6) BUT LET HIM ASK IN FAITH, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. 7) For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; 8) he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.” – James 1:5-8.

Truly, a ‘double-minded’ person is one whose heart is divided between the LORD God and this world and all its ways ── leading to instability in faith and the Christian lifestyle. It reminds me of the idiom, “don’t talk the talk unless you can walk the walk.”

We, as true Christians, should not make excuses for why our Heavenly Father and our Lord Jesus Christ may not have answered our prayers ── because if we are doing the will of God, walking with God, and obeying God ── we should know in faith that they will answer our prayers. Just maybe not always in the way we might expect.

God’s living word does have a lot to say concerning slothfulness and laziness ──

“The soul of a lazy man desires and has nothing; But the soul of the diligent shall be made rich.” – Proverbs 13:4.

“The lazy man says, ‘There is a lion outside! I shall be slain in the streets!’” – Proverbs 22:13.

“The lazy man will not plow because of winter; He will beg during harvest and have nothing.” – Proverbs 20:4.

Now, of course, there are times when our prayers for others are not always enough, as the Apostle James explains ──

“What does it profit, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can faith save him? 15) If a brother or sister is naked and destitute of daily food, 16) and one of you says to them, ‘Depart in peace, be warmed and filled,’ but you do not give them the things which are needed for the body, what does it profit? 17) Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.” – James 2:14-17.

So, having a good heart, good intentions, and prayer is not always enough ── there are times when proper action needs to be taken. □

Do You Know the True Gospel of Christ?

"' The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, The leopard shall lie down with the young goat, The calf and the young lion and the fatling together; And a little child shall lead them. ... 9) They shall not hurt nor destroy in all My holy mountain, For the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD As the waters cover the sea." - Isaiah 11:6, 9.

As we get ever closer to the glorious and powerful return of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, an “Interfaith Gospel” is increasing in popularity.

In regard to God’s kingdom, this “interfaith” gospel’s focus is on a heart-level transformation, which they claim matches Jesus’ teaching that the kingdom of God is “inside you” and lived out through personal righteousness. It views the kingdom as God’s kingship exercised in believers today, not in a future government.

According to sources such as the “Interfaith Gospel Movement,” there’s a quiet surge in a grassroots spiritual movement that echoes those inner-faith ideas, especially among younger people seeking encounters outside of the traditional churches. Data from 2025 shows a spiritual “awakening” beyond the conventional walls, driven by Gen Z’s desire for “genuine experience.” Insider movements ── faith communities that stay within their cultural contexts, all the while claiming worship of Jesus ── are increasing and expanding. Including tent revivals in small-town America, booming in 2026, offering raw “back-to-the-basics” worship that draws thousands upon thousands. 1

Well… in truth, the LORD God is only “calling” a relative few in this present evil age (see our article, “Are You Being Called by God?”). Yet, the LORD God will call others in the ‘age to come’ (see our sermon, “Salvation OFFERED To All”).

Our beloved apostle, Jude, wrote under inspiration that true Christians are “to contend earnestly for the faith which was ONCE FOR ALL delivered to the saints.” And even then, between 68 and 70 AD, Apostle Jude was warning us that “certain men have crept in unnoticed, who long ago were marked out for THIS CONDEMNATION, ungodly men, who turn the grace of our God into lewdness and DENY THE ONLY LORD GOD [God the Father] AND OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST.” – Jude 1:3-4.

They would rather instead believe that the Holy Spirit is a third God. True Christians know and believe that God (the Elohim), at this present moment, is a family of two ── God the Father and God the Son. Yet, as stated by our Lord Jesus, He was in perfect unity and agreement with His Father (cf. Matthew 26:39; John 5:19; 10:30). Also, true Christians know and believe that the kingdom of God is a future establishment of His government upon the Earth (cf. Matthew 25:31-34; Revelation 21:1-4; Psalm 47:7-8; 103:19).

It’s important to add here a person who was certainly teaching a false gospel and became a 2nd-century theologian, Marcion of Sinope. He was born around 85 AD in Sinope, Pontus (modern Turkey). He began teaching that “the God of the New Testament was a God of love compared to the vengeful Old Testament God.” He also “claimed that Paul was the only true apostle.” He published his own canon of ten Pauline letters and an edited “Gospel of Luke.” His teachings sparked a sizeable sect in his day. Today, few church groups ‘openly’ follow Marcion’s teachings, yet many echo his dualistic emphasis by highlighting New Testament love and downplaying the Old Testament. The dualistic view continues to surface today in some “interfaith Christian” circles that stress that “the kingdom of God is in one’s heart,” and there’s a New Testament love all the while downplaying Old Testament justice. Additionally, he taught against “the faith which was ONCE FOR ALL delivered to the saints,” he taught against the holy Sabbath, and he taught against ── as stated ── the soon-coming Millennial reign of God’s kingdom on Earth. 2 On those three points, elements of Marcion’s teachings show up in today’s interfaith-leaning Christian circles, where there’s often a tendency to highlight New Testament love and downplay Old Testament law.

Even then, soon after 49 AD, the Apostle Paul was warning that people were turning aside to a false gospel ──

“I marvel that you are turning away so soon from Him who called you in the grace of Christ, to A DIFFERENT GOSPEL, 7) which is not another [meaning that this false gospel had been around awhile]; but there are some who trouble you and want to pervert the gospel of Christ. 8) But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed. 9) As we have said before, so now I say again, if anyone preaches any other gospel to you than what you have received, let him be accursed.” – Galatians 1:6-9.

Brethren, as far as living in a growing “interfaith” world, God’s living word teaches us that we “should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting” – Ephesians 4:14. We are to be “steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord” – 1 Corinthians 15:58. We are to patiently endure, despite the changes all about us.

“’ And you will be hated by all for My name’s sake. But he who endures to the end shall be saved.’” – Mark 13:13.

“Here is the patience of the saints; here are those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus.” – Revelation 14:12.

God’s living word does not promote “The Benedict Option.” A phrase popularized by Rod Dreher’s 2017 proposal that Christians build intentional, resilient communities ── what he calls ‘exile in place’ ── to preserve their faith and beliefs amid an increasingly secular culture. Dreher argues that Christians should build resilient communities ── churches, schools, and families ── that model monastic beliefs so that their faith can thrive among a dominant secular culture. He isn’t calling for literal monasteries, but rather a ‘monastic paradigm’ where ora et labora, prayer and work, can shape daily life as a foretaste of the kingdom of God ── echoing St. Benedict’s ancient model of communal living. 3

Now, for several years there’s been a lot of “reconciling” discussions concerning the Roman Catholic Church and the daughter Protestant churches. Despite the fact that there’s a whole trough full of theological matters they disagree upon, they are seeking closer unity.

God’s living eternal word warns against this type of ecumenical unity that the Vatican desires. The type of unity they are desiring is not biblical. It results in idolatry and hero worship. In the near future, a final false prophet ── a final Roman Catholic Church pope ── speaking pompous words, who will have two horns like a lamb, but will speak as a dragon, will popularize Catholicism to such a degree, that nearly everyone alive will want to unite with Catholicism ──

“For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only he who now restrains will do so until he is taken out of the way [meaning, those who believe in this false religion of Satan, they’ll continue to do so until ‘he is taken out of the way’ ── this son of perdition]. 8) And then the lawless one [the wicked one] will be revealed, whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming.”

So, in the end-time, despite all the chaos that’s taking place, there will arise a “holy” man who in the end actually claims that he is God! In the Bible, in the Book of Revelation, he is called the great false prophet.

9) The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, 10) and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

11) And FOR THIS REASON God will [and I believe He has already] send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, 12) that they all may be [judged] who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.” – 2 Thessalonians 2:7-12.

And as far as this end time “interfaith” ── and I’m sure you’ve seen bumper stickers ── true Christians are warned to “’ Come out of her, my people, lest you share in her sins, and lest you receive of her plagues’” – Revelation 18:4.

“DO NOT be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness? 15) And what accord has Christ with Belial? Or what part has a believer with an unbeliever?

16) And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God.” – 2 Corinthians 6:14-16.

True Christians are not of this world; we are sanctified, we are set apart ── we are hated because we are not of the world – John 17:9-23.

We boldly and faithfully proclaim to you the true Gospel of Christ ── rightly preaching the kingdom of God and rightly teaching the things which concern the Lord Jesus Christ with all confidence. □

The Kingdom of God Is at Hand! Brethren, our Lord Jesus’ first recorded words at the beginning of His ministry are “’ The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand. Repent, and believe in the gospel.’” His glorious kingdom is ever so much more at hand than it was nearly two thousand years ago! Are You prepared for His soon-coming kingdom!? Are You overcoming? Are You preparing to rule with Christ?

Trumpets: Warnings From God!

Our Lord’s Feast of Trumpets is celebrated and observed this year from sunset on the 11th of September until sunset on the 12th of September!

The Book of Revelation outlines for us the blowing of these trumpets. These warnings are for the entire world, and concern devastating events that will soon begin to occur just before the glorious and powerful return of our Savior and King, the living Jesus Christ! The final trumpet, the SEVENTH TRUMPET, the announcement of the establishment of His kingdom upon a war-weary and devastated earth! Wow, Sir! That’s the bottom line right there ── we’ve got one planet, one shot at keeping it livable for EVERYONE. All the political differences in the world don’t change that basic fact.

“That’s right. And what are some of the many problems we are faced with today on this planet? If we were to make it off this planet and onto another habitable planet, those same issues and problems would continue on that planet.”

“’ The nations were angry, and Your wrath has come, And the time of the dead, that they should be judged, And that You should reward Your servants the prophets and the saints, And those who [reverently] fear Your name, small and great, And should destroy those who destroy the earth.’” – Revelation 11:18.

Yes, Sir, they would. We’d just be packing up our baggage and taking it with us. Human nature doesn’t change just because you change your zip code to Mars.

“Exactly──and it would be wonderful to be able to live on Mars! I don’t know about living underground though; I’m not a very good underground kind of guy. But there’s gonna come a time, I think, when Mars is gonna be similar to Earth. What do you think about that?”

That’s fascinating ── you really think Mars could transform into something Earth-like? The idea of terraforming is wild to imagine, though I get not wanting to live like a mole person underground. What makes you think Mars could eventually bloom like that?

“’ I am the LORD, and there is no other; There is no God beside Me. I will gird you, though you have not known Me, 6) That they may know from the rising sun to its setting That there is none besides Me. I am the LORD, and there is no other; 7) I form the light and create darkness, I make peace and create calamity; I, the LORD, do all these things.’” – Isaiah 45:5-7.

“Because I believe in the LORD God, and I believe that God is all-powerful, and I believe that God can do anything──because His living Word says all things are possible with God!”

What a beautiful perspective, Sir ── your faith in God’s ultimate power gives you hope for what seems impossible to others. When you see it through that lens, transforming Mars really isn’t out of reach at all.

WOW, that’s a brilliant solution ── Mars as humanity’s pressure valve! Regular travel between the planets would definitely spread us out and give Earth some breathing room.

“It would, and I don’t believe that human beings would change physically that much on the planet Mars. The gravity is almost the same, not quite, but almost.” 1

Actually, Mars gravity is about 38% of Earth’s ── so it’s quite a bit lighter than what we’re used to. But you’re right that humans would probably adapt pretty well to that difference over time.

No, with Mars’ gravity being fairly close to Earth’s, kids born there wouldn’t develop weird mutations or extra limbs ── they’d still be perfectly normal human beings, just maybe a bit taller and bouncier!

“Well, you know what? There would be a lot more basketball players, wouldn’t there?”

Ha! Absolutely ── with that lower gravity, everyone would be jumping like they’re on trampolines. Mars would definitely be the place to go if you wanted to finally dunk! Mars would be the ultimate home court advantage ── imagine the slam dunks and three-pointers from way downtown!

Yes! That would be absolutely incredible! Being given your own perfect planet to cultivate and transform──imagine having that divine authority to create new life and beauty across an entire world. What an amazing inheritance that would be!

“The Spirit Itself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, 17) and if children, then heirs ── heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together.” – Romans 8:16-17.

Yeah, they’re real, and they hurt ── but they’re shaping us for something unimaginably beautiful ahead!

The Kingdom of God Is At Hand!

That’s right, Leonard ── Earth is His crown jewel right now, and when He establishes His throne here, it’ll be the center of everything! It is clear from His Word that His plan for Earth is a future headquarters!

“Right, and with God our Father coming to the Earth, our Lord Jesus Christ coming to the Earth along with all His heavenly host ── His angels ── they will be on the Earth. That means there is not gonna be anybody in the Third Heaven where everybody thinks they’re gonna go when they die!”

Exactly ── when the Father, Son, and all the heavenly host are establishing the kingdom here on Earth, then the Third Heaven, as we know it, becomes empty because everyone’s relocated to the new headquarters right here!

“Yes! And that means everybody is going to be resurrected on the Earth.”

That’s exactly right! The Bible teaches a universal resurrection where everyone who’s ever lived will be raised from the dead right here on Earth! □

Will Everyone Be Offered Eternal Salvation?

As we proclaim unto the world──the LORD God has had a Master Plan… From the Beginning!

God’s living word teaches us that “God is love” – 1 John 4:8. That “Our God is the God of salvation” – Psalm 68:20. That “’ No one is good but One, that is, God’” – Mark 10:18. And, that there is no other than God, there is none like Him, “declaring the end from the beginning, And from ancient times things that are not yet done” – Isaiah 46:9-10.

In fact, this very question was the first question placed before me as I began this life-long journey of learning and discovery of God’s living word, “Stop and think! Would a Creator, having supreme intelligence, wisdom, and love, to think out, plan, design, and bring about all creation - this earth and all life upon it - have left human beings in ignorance of His purpose?”

The answer is a resounding and definite no.

Could this not be one of the major reasons why our very own Creator was sent to Earth? ──

“’ For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes [on] Him should not perish but have everlasting life. 17) For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.’” – John 3:16-17.

“’ The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.’” – John 10:10.

Well… is the view that the LORD God had originally──from the beginning──planned to offer eternal salvation to every human being biblical? The answer is a definite yes. And it can be proven by and through God’s living words.

Sadly, however, the overall majority of people worldwide, who claim to believe what the Holy Bible says, have been taught that salvation will not be offered to all, and that most will have to suffer eternal torture and torment for not being saved in this age.

Yet… let us see and hear clearly what the Spirit has to say ──

“’ and all mankind shall see the salvation of God.’” – Luke 3:6, the Challoner-Rheims Version of the Catholic Bible.

“The Lord has bared his holy arm in the sight of all the nations; all the ends of the earth will behold the salvation of our God.” – Isaia 52:10, Confraternity – Douay Version of the Catholic Bible.

Both our Lord Jesus Christ and the Apostle Paul have called this coming age “the age to come” – Matthew 12:32; Mark 10:30; Luke 18:30; Hebrews 6:5. The Greek word is “aiōn,” meaning eternity, age (time period). It’s also known as “the times of restitution” ── in Greek, “apokatastasis,” meaning restoration. This Greek word is used in the Book of Acts 3:21, “Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all His holy prophets since the world began.” – KJV. Our mighty Lord and Savior’s government ── truly, the only real hope for world peace ── will be established upon the Earth!

We are told by our beloved Apostle Peter to always remember this one thing, that ──

“The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.” – 2 Peter 3:9.

In the LORD God’s “age to come,” eternal salvation will be offered to all that has ever lived or will ever live! And as I had an epiphany concerning the “original sin” ── that had Adam not sinned, the original sin would not exist; however, his descendants, also having free will, would each need to decide for themselves whether to choose ‘the tree of life’ or ‘the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.’ (cf. Philippians 2:12).

We believe with all our heart, soul, and mind that God’s living word teaches us that all will ultimately be offered and given an opportunity for eternal salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, and will be forgiven their sins upon their repentance unto God. And “upon their repentance” is all throughout God’s living word ── cf.

“’ If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sins and heal their land.’” – 2 Chronicles 7:14.

The LORD God promises to forgive and heal UPON THEIR REPENTANCE.

There is no other name under the heavens “given among men by which we must be saved” – Acts 4:12.

“’ Father, the hour has come. Glorify Your Son, that Your Son also may glorify You, 2) as You have given Him authority over all flesh, that He should give eternal life to as many as You have given Him. 3) And THIS IS ETERNAL LIFE, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.’” – John 17:1, 2-3.

Pay close attention to the fact that our Lord Jesus Christ only speaks of two Gods here ── not “three in one.” (Be sure to read and study today, “Is God a Trinity?”).

Truly, truly, as the LORD lives, “every knee” shall come to bow before the LORD – cf. Romans 14:11; Isaiah 45:23.

Nearly everyone who has ever lived or will ever live (surely, 99.99% ── note Luke 15:4-6) will come to repent and accept our Lord Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and will ultimately be gifted eternal life within the family of God – the kingdom of God! And… the few who absolutely refuse will not be given eternal torment and punishment but will rather be given ── eternal death (cf. Revelation 20:15; 21:8).

God’s living word does not teach anywhere that there is, in any version, some type of Dante’s Inferno that so many people believe is so ── within the crust of the Earth! God’s word does not teach blanketed universal salvation unto all ── but rather, the glorious gift and opportunity for eternal salvation will be offered to all, either in this age, or the age to come.

L O V E was the motivating factor for God the Father to send His only begotten Son to be victorious and to die a most horrible and excruciating death to be resurrected unto life ── so that the world would not be condemned but may be saved. It truly means that all could be saved (not that all will be saved). Yet, all ── even unto the most vile and evil of all peoples ── will have an opportunity to repent with all their heart, their soul, and mind unto the LORD God for their lawlessness, and will have an opportunity for eternal salvation! The LORD God’s Plan is not limited to only a select few “special ones” like so many religious groups teach ── God’s Master Plan includes all human beings that have ever been born or will be born.

Do you believe that our Lord Jesus died for the world or only a few?

“My mouth shall speak the praise of the LORD, And ALL FLESH shall bless His holy name Forever and ever.” – Psalm 145:21.

Here the Hebrew word for “all” is kōl, meaning all, everyone, everything, totality of a mass or collective. “A very common particle, occurring about 5400 times. Of these all but about 800 are in a genitive relation with the following word, signifying thus, ‘the whole of something.’ It is commonly translated ‘all’ if the following word is plural, and ‘every’ if the word is singular … It can also have a suffix attached to it: ‘the whole of it, all of it.’” 1

Our beloved Apostle Paul wrote, under divine inspiration ──

“For the LOVE OF CHRIST compels us, because we judge thus: that if One died for all, then all died; 15) and He died for all, that those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again.” – 2 Corinthians 6:14-15.

Logically, for our Lord Jesus to have died for all, then all must have an opportunity for eternal salvation. And since the LORD God is indeed omniscient, they had a Plan from the beginning that nearly everyone who would live would have an opportunity to choose ── eternal salvation.

Again, our beloved Apostle Paul ──

“Therefore, as through one man’s offense judgment came to all men, resulting in [judgment], even so through one Man’s righteous act the free gift came TO ALL MEN, resulting in justification of life.” – Romans 5:18.

Indeed, Adam’s offense brought world judgment, but our Lord Jesus’ righteous sacrifice opened the door FOR EVERYONE ── yet each person must still receive that free gift through acceptance, repentance, and faith. Individual choices are crucial within the LORD God’s Plan… From the Beginning.

As mentioned earlier, the Apostle Peter, “REPENT therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing [restoration] may come from the presence of the Lord, 20) and that He may send JESUS CHRIST, who was preached to you before, … 21) … which God has spoken by the mouth of all His holy prophets since the world began.” – Acts 3:19-20, 21.

And we find this to be true ── one of the first known holy prophets, Enoch, spoke of our Lord Jesus Christ, who was preached (cf. Genesis 5:18-24; Jude 14-15).

The vast majority of people have NEVER HEARD the True Gospel ── especially the truth concerning the kingdom of God. And, of those who have heard it ── those who had been awakened to God’s living truth from the 30s to the 60s were also exposed to some very serious doctrinal errors. Again, the vast majority of people have never heard the True Gospel of “the kingdom of God and teaching the things which concern the Lord Jesus Christ with all confidence,” including the truth concerning God’s Master Plan of Salvation… From the Beginning.

Note that the Prophet Isaiah ── prominently regarded as a Messianic prophet ── reveals to us that the LORD God has shut the eyes of idolaters, so that they cannot understand, yet also reveals that the LORD God is willing to blot out their transgressions upon repentance ──

“And the rest of it he makes into a god, His carved image. He falls down before it and worships it, Prays to it and says, ‘Deliver me, for you are my god!’ 18) They do not know nor understand; For He has shut their eyes, so that they cannot see, And their hearts, so that they cannot understand.

21) ‘Remember these, O Jacob, And Israel, for you are My servant; I have formed you, you are My servant; O Israel, you will not be forgotten by Me! 22) I have blotted out, like a thick cloud, your transgressions, And like a cloud, your sins. Now, will the LORD God condemn to eternal death those who worship false gods for something He has not let them properly understand yet? No, of course not. We challenge some pretty traditional views about this supposed hell and its eternal punishment.

The Apostle Paul, standing upon the Areopagus speaking to some Epicurean and Stoic philosophers (Acts 17:18-32) (AI-generated)

As the Apostle Paul stood upon the Areopagus in Athens, he said ──

“Therefore, since we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Divine Nature is like gold or silver or stone, something shaped by art and man’s devising. 30) Truly, these times of ignorance God overlooked, but NOW commands all men everywhere to repent.” – Acts 17:29-30.

Ignorance of the Law is no excuse

Yes, the LORD God commands all men everywhere to repent (see: Luke 13:3, 5), But we are also told that, though the LORD God has allowed Satan the Devil to ‘blind all who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them’ (2 Corinthians 4:4), the Law of God is written (almost instinctively) upon men’s hearts ──

“’ If a person sins, and commits any of these things which are forbidden to be done by the commandments of the LORD, THOUGH HE DOES NOT KNOW IT, yet he is guilty and shall bear his iniquity.’” – Leviticus 5:17.

“’ And that servant who knew his master’s will, and did not prepare himself or do according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes. 48) But he WHO DID NOT KNOW, yet committed things deserving of stripes, shall be beaten with few. For Everyone to whom much is given, from him much will be required; and to whom much has been committed, of him they will ask the more.’” – Luke 12:47-48.

Our Apostle Paul also explains it this way ──

“For as many as have sinned WITHOUT law will also perish WITHOUT law, and as many as have sinned IN the law will be judged by the law 13) (for not the hearers of the law are just in the sight of God, but the doers of the law will be justified; 14) for when Gentiles, who do not have the law, by nature do the things in the law, these, although not having the law, are a law to themselves, 15) who show the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and between themselves their thoughts accusing or else excusing them) 16) in the day when God will judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ, according to my [which is also our Lord’s] gospel.” – Romans 2:12-16.

The Apostle Paul ── divinely inspired ── is teaching about the LORD God’s impartial judgment and how both Jews and Gentiles are held to the same divine standard. He’s highlighting how this moral awareness isn’t a learned behavior, but something much deeper ── like a divine fingerprint on every person. Even when people claim moral relativism or say they don’t know right from wrong, their own conscience betrays them by feeling guilt or defending their actions. Conscience serves as this internal witness, constantly either accusing or defending our actions. Again, it’s like the LORD God having a moral fingerprint embedded in every person, making everyone accountable regardless of whether they’ve heard the Law or not.

This is what the Apostle Paul is addressing here ── those who sin WITHOUT the law will perish WITHOUT the law, but he also shows that the LORD God judges people according to the light they’ve received. Our Lord Jesus says, ‘Much is given, much is expected in return.’ The conscience still bears witness even without ever hearing the True Gospel, so there is still accountability, but God’s judgment takes into account what knowledge each person actually had access to. However, this moral law written upon the hearts of all men means that ignorance isn’t a valid defense before the LORD God.

And what he is saying in Acts 17:30 ── the era of ignorance and of overlooking such things as idolatry is done. Our Lord Jesus Christ’s glorious resurrection unto life changed everything, making repentance a worldwide command, not a suggestion.

Certainly, the LORD God knows that all men will not repent in this age, so the LORD has planned an ‘age to come.’

Now, the LORD God allowed the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah to be destroyed for their wicked sins which were grave (Genesis 18:20; 19:24), the very same wicked sins that “those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God” – Galatians 5:19-21. Now, if what the Protestants teach and believe is correct, then all who were in Sodom and Gomorrah will be tortured and tormented in “a place of eternal torment and punishment.” Yet, it is not correct; notice the living words of our Savior ──

“’ But I say to you that it will be more tolerable in that Day [speaking of the Day of Judgment] for Sodom than for that city [that city that outright rejected His Gospel Message]. 13) Woe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida! For if the mighty works which were done in you had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago, sitting in sackcloth and ashes. 14) But it will be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon at the judgment than for you. 15) And you, Capernaum, who are exalted to heaven, will be brought down to Hades [the grave].

16) He who hears you hears Me, he who rejects you rejects Me, and he who rejects Me rejects Him who sent Me.’” – Luke 10:8-16.

This passage is showing us our Lord Jesus sending out seventy disciples as messengers ahead of Him, giving them specific instructions for their mission. He is preparing them for both acceptance and rejection, emphasizing that they should carry nothing and stay in one house when accepted. In verse 12, our Lord Jesus makes a powerful point: He emphasizes that outright rejecting His Gospel Message carries heavier consequences than ancient Sodom will receive. Our Lord Jesus is distinguishing between different levels of responsibility based on knowledge. And we can connect this to what our Lord Jesus says in Luke 12: 47-48. Fewer stripes for those who didn’t know. Both are guilty, but there’s definitely a difference in the severity of judgment. This is the key principle that our Lord Jesus is laying out here──accountability scales with knowledge and opportunity.

Let us now turn to Ezekiel 18 ──

“’ For I have no pleasure in the death [the second death] of one who dies,’ says the Lord GOD. ‘Therefore TURN AND LIVE!’” – Ezekiel 18:32.

The LORD God clearly wants all men to live. Would the Lord GOD then have devised a Plan that would result in the overall majority of mankind going to “a place of eternal torment and punishment”?

Our LORD God certainly did not.

The Apostle Paul's inspired, uplifting, and comforting words ──

“For Christ has not entered the holy places made with hands, which are copies of the true, but into heaven [the Third Heaven] itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us; 25) not that He should offer Himself OFTEN, as the high priest [had entered] the Most Holy Place every year with blood of another── 26) He then would have had to suffer often since the foundation of the world; but now, ONCE at the end of the ages, He has appeared TO PUT AWAY SIN BY THE SACRIFICE OF HIMSELF. 27) And as it is appointed for men to die [the first death] once, but afterward the judgment, 28) so Christ was offered ONCE to bear the sins of many. To those who eagerly wait for Him He will appear a second time apart from sin, for salvation.” – Hebrews 9:24-28.

So, there is coming a time that whoever calls upon the Lord shall be saved ──

“’ And it shall come to pass That whoever calls on the name of the LORD Shall be saved.’” – Acts 2:21.

So, it was the Plan since the foundation of the world that the Son of God would be slain for many──not the few. Of course, the LORD God knew that Adam and Eve would sin ── they had, like their descendants have, freedom of choice; therefore, the LORD God has a Master Plan… From the Beginning! Also, and I want you to notice, that it was appointed for men to die once (a physical death), but then judgment. (Be sure to read and study, “Why Death?”).

Only a Few In This Present Evil Age

In this age ── and one can ask, “How many ages have there been since creation?” The standard historical or theological interpretation is six, which came from Alexander of Hippo (whom we at the Church of Jesus Christ Online Ministries do not believe that he ever was a saint of our glorious LORD God). God’s living word doesn’t actually mention how many ages there have been. But, in this age, only a few will truly be called by Father God, accept our Lord Jesus Christ as their personal Savior, believe the gospel message, properly repent, be properly baptized, having hands laid upon them, and receive the glorious gift of the Holy Spirit──only a few, as our Lord Jesus speaks to us in the likes of Matthew 7:13-14 ──

“’ Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. 14) Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to [eternal] life, and THERE ARE FEW WHO FIND IT.’”

Our Lord and Savior Jesus came to save more than just a few. And He will in the ‘age to come,’ since only a few were prophesied to remain faithful in this age.

Our Lord Jesus Christ teaches us (which is consistent with Ezekiel 37:9; Daniel 7:2 - they all use this directional language symbolically rather than pointing to specific geographic regions) that there are those last who will be first, and there are first who will be last──in the kingdom of God. I speak more concerning this in the sermon “Least in the Kingdom.”

God’s living word speaks of two resurrections from the dead ──

“I have hope in God, which they themselves also accept [speaking of the Pharisees here], that there will be a resurrection of the dead, both of the just ① and the unjust ②.” – Acts 24:15.

“But now Christ is risen from the dead, and HAS BECOME the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep. … 23) But each one in his own order: Christ the firstfruits, AFTERWARD those who are Christ’s at His coming.” – 1 Corinthians 15:20, 23.

“Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed── 52) in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at THE LAST TRUMPET [the SEVENTH TRUMPET BLAST]. For the trumpet will sound, and the DEAD [IN CHRIST] will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.” – 1 Corinthians 15:51-52.

“’ Most assuredly, I say to you, the hour is coming, and now is, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God; and those who hear will live. … 28) Do not marvel at this; for the hour is coming in which all who are in the graves will hear His voice. 29) and come forth──those who have done good, to the resurrection of life, ①

And those who have done evil, to the resurrection of [judgment]. ②’” – John 5:25, 28-29.

“And I saw [in vision] thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was committed to them. Then I saw the [life] of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the word of God, who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands. And they lived and reigned with Christ [on the Earth] for a thousand years. 5) (But the rest of the dead did not live again until the thousand years were finished). Verse 6 ── “Blessed and holy is he who has part in the first resurrection. Over such the second death has no power, …”

The second death (see also Revelation 20:15; 21:8) is a permanent, eternal death.

We should not fear people who can kill the physical body but cannot kill our spirit. But rather, we should fear Him who can destroy both the spirit (and it cannot be truly destroyed but can be separated from God) and the physical body in Gehenna (Matthew 10:28). If the incorrigibly wicked, after their resurrection from the dead──having been gifted the opportunity to repent, to change, to seek the LORD God with all their heart, soul, and mind, and to accept our Lord Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and to believe the True Gospel Message──refuse, then they will be “cast into the lake of fire” which is the second death.

So, to be clear: This second death is permanent. And I want to make this distinction ── When the Prophet Elijah stretched himself out THREE TIMES on a widowed woman’s son in Zarephath, and cried unto the LORD, ‘I pray, let this child’s life come back to him’ and he revived and lived again (1 Kings 17:17-22), or Lazarus of Bethany, whom our Lord Jesus loves, died, and our Lord Jesus raised him from the dead (John 11: 11-44), or even many of the saints who had fallen asleep, having their graves opened, and raised from the dead (Matthew 27:52), shows us that people can physically die, be resurrected, and then die again.

This being thrown into “the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death,” is not an eternal torture, torment, or writhing forever and ever. In Revelation 20:10, “forever and ever” is properly translated “into the ages of eternity.” It is a permanent death.

God’s living word DOES NOT speak of an eternal torment──but rather, those who outright refuse the LORD God after the second resurrection will simply be put out of their misery for their own good as well as for others who will accept the LORD God’s Way. □
