Iran’s … leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, has criticized the US proposal for a new nuclear agreement, insisting it will not stop enriching uranium. …

Trump has warned Iran’s leaders that it could face US and Israeli military action if the negotiations are not successful, and he is said to have given them a two-month deadline in a letter he sent in early March.

He has also insisted Iran would have to halt all uranium enrichment under any deal.

Iran’s armed forces escalate threats as Khamenei rejects latest US proposal

The Islamic Republic Armed Forces General Staff, Iran’s highest military authority tasked with coordinating the conventional army (Artesh) and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), issued a threatening statement on June 4 amid stalled nuclear negotiations with the United States. The statement declared that “by standing firm against [US] threats,” the Iranian armed forces under the command of … leader Ali Khamenei “are ready with exemplary power to confront the enemies.”

Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ has prophesied that all throughout this present evil age there would be ‘wars and rumors of wars’ before the coming dreadful and terrible Day of the Lord – the ‘great tribulation’ ──

“’ And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.’ 

Verse 7 – ‘For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. 8) ALL THESE are the beginning of sorrows.’” – Matthew 24:6-8. 

And while there are grave troubles worldwide ── one nation against another nation, one kingdom against another kingdom, and there have been famines (some of great proportions, i.e., Irish Potato Famine (1845-1849), Great Chinese Famine (1959 1961), Bengal Famine (1943), and there have been great pestilences, i.e., Black Death: 75-200M (1334-1353), 1918 flu: 50-100 million (1918-1920), COVID-19: 5-17 million (2020 – current), as well as earthquakes in various places, i.e., 1957 Aleutian Earthquake, 1960 Chilean Earthquake, and the 2011 Tōhoku Earthquake and Tsunami ── our Lord Jesus has told us ‘See that you are not troubled’ the end of the age is not yet. All these are but a foreshadowing of things to come! 

Since our Lord Jesus was recorded as saying, “‘The time is fulfilled, …’” (Mark 1:15),  this world has had wars and rumors of wars. And, if President Donald Trump holds to his ‘red line,’ Iran is about to face the fury of the Israeli/American military strength. And, if President Vladimir Putin holds to his retaliatory threat, Ukraine is about to face his ultimate wrath. Plus, concerning China, our Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth is warning that China is posing an “imminent” threat to Taiwan. 

In an article last Tuesday by The New York Times, “Is Civil War Coming to Europe?”, they wrote that Europe could be facing civil war, mainly because of societal breakdown and migrant issues. 

Yes. Severe economic, political, and religious factors WILL ultimately result in the reorganizing of a ‘United States of Europe’! So says God’s living word – cf. Revelation 17:12-13. 

JUDAH ── modern-day Israel ── is fighting for her life! ── trying to eliminate the deadly threat coming from the Gaza Strip, and surely you can say to one degree or another, the League of Arab States. Recall, our Lord Jesus saying, “’ But when you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, then know that its desolation is near.’” – Luke 21:20.

We have Haiti ── nearly all of the capital of Port-au-Prince is now under the control of vicious gangs, while the interim presidential council is holed up around the affluent hillside enclave of Pétion-Ville.

For more than a century, the Kurds have dreamed of autonomy in Turkey as well as the Middle East ── and armed groups have driven that agenda. At the moment, Kurdish armed groups are laying down their weapons.

And, of course, this is but scratching the surface of the many troubles around the world. 

Notice what was prophesied to occur ── “which must shortly take place” from the Book of Revealing ── 

“When He [our Lord Jesus Christ] opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature saying, ‘Come and see.’ 4) Another horse, fiery red, went out. And it was granted to the one who sat on it to take peace from the earth, and that people should kill one another; and there was given to him a great sword.” – Revelation 6:3-4. 

The Greek word for “peace” here is eirēnē, which means, “peace, harmony, tranquility, safety, welfare, heath. #1515. 

So, the rider of this fiery red horse is a rider of war and of taking peace from the earth. 

This is our Lord Jesus Christ suggesting the prophecy of the prophet Daniel in chapter 11. A direct reference to a final holy war between the end-time Catholic United States of Europe (‘king of the North’) and the Islamic confederation of nations (‘king of the South’) – cf. Daniel 11:40; Revelation 9:13-16.

We are getting ever closer to the prophesied ‘Day of the Lord’, also called ‘Jacob’s Trouble’, as well as the end-time ‘great tribulation.’ 

Will You Recognize Jesus!?              

However, PRAISE BE TO ALMIGHTY GOD AND OUR LORD JESUS ── the greatest of news has been announced! That our returning Master, Elder Brother, and Savior will ‘shorten those days’! 

“’ IMMEDIATELY AFTER the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars [Satan the Devil and his demons] will fall from [the atmosphere], and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. 

30) THEN the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven [in outer space], and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of [the atmosphere] WITH POWER AND GREAT GLORY.’” – Matthew 24:29-30.

“ … And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. 7) Of the increase of His government and peace There will be no end, Upon the throne of David and over His kingdom, To order it and establish it with judgment and justice From that time forward, even FOREVER. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.” – Isaiah 9: 6-7. 

“Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. Also, there was no more sea [Mediterranean Sea]. 2) Then I, John, saw THE HOLY CITY, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven [the atmosphere] from God, … 16) The city is laid out as a square; its length is as great as its breadth [quite possibly it will be the shape of a pyramid]. And he measured the city with the reed: twelve thousand furlongs. Its length, breadth, and height are equal [approximately 1,377 square miles].” – Revelation 21:1-2, 16.   

THE PRINCE OF PEACE IS COMING!

As our Lord Jesus has asked all ──

“’ WATCH THEREFORE, for you do not know when the master of the house is coming ── in the evening, at midnight, at the crowing of the rooster, or in the morning ── 36) lest, coming suddenly, he finds you sleeping. 37) And what I say to you, I say to all: Watch!’” – Mark 13:35-37. □
