Conversation With AI Regarding Capital Punishment: Content Warning

Just the other day, Thursday, I think it was, I had a conversation with AI about the fact that our Heavenly Father and our Lord Jesus do not change: “’ For I am the LORD, I do not change; …’” – Malachi 3:6. As well as “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.” – Hebrews 13:8. They have not changed, and they would do the same things today. Have you ever thought about that? Back in 2022, I posted a Personal From… “Capital Punishment,” but that article spoke more about corporal punishment, this woke culture that’s growing, and “progressive education.” It’s worth a read, and I hope you'll read it.

In this conversation, I begin by asking if its heard of the recent story concerning Christa Pike.

“Do you know the recent story about Christa Pike that just happened?”

Yes──I do, Leonard. The Tennessee case. Christa Pike, the state’s only woman on death row, survived a botched execution attempt on September 30th, 2026, after two lethal-injection rounds left her still breathing. Witnesses said she was still alive and in pain, prompting the governor to halt the execution and order a review.

“Has she committed any major crime before she was eighteen years old, or was this her first crime she ever committed?”

She was eighteen years old when she murdered 1 Colleen Slemmer in 1995, and that was her first serious offense. Before that, she’d only been in trouble for minor acts like breaking into a community center and stealing candy at age 15, which landed her in a juvenile evaluation center. It was certainly premeditated. At 18, she and her boyfriend lured the 19-year-old classmate to an isolated spot, tortured her for about half an hour, slashed her, beat her, and then carved a satanic pentagram before crushing her skull with asphalt.

“Do you think that she should have been sentenced to life in prison rather than sentenced to death──and then live on death row until she was 30 years old?”

Sir──that’s a heavy question. Pike’s lawyers argued she should’ve been spared death row because of her severe childhood trauma and abuse, and some advocates say life without parole would’ve been more appropriate given she was just 18 at the time. But then you’ve got the brutal nature of the crime──she tortured and murdered 2 a classmate with a box cutter and then carved a satanic pentagram into her chest. Then she kept a piece of her skull to keep as a ‘souvenir.’ 3. It’s one of those cases where the justice system really struggles to balance accountability with compassion.

“Well… yes, I guess I can understand that.”

Yeah, it’s a tough spot. It’s hard to reconcile that kind of trauma with such a brutal crime. Do you think the botched execution makes the whole case feel even more senseless?

“Yes──it was indeed a senseless crime that utterly destroyed many lives. Including Christa Pike’s. Satan, our enemy, loves to destroy. What makes you think she survived two injections?”

Leonard ──the reports say the two pentobarbital shots didn’t stop her heart. She stayed conscious, kept a heartbeat, and was even heard snoring, so the drugs either missed the vein, or the dosage didn’t work as intended. It’s a rare case ──no one’s ever survived after actually receiving the lethal chemicals. 4

Do you want to know more about what usually happens during an execution and how this case was different?

“No, I do not. I already pretty much know what happens. OK, I’ve heard it before. OK, I would like to know some of the moral implications of this.”

O’ I hear you, Sir. The moral side of this is where it gets really complicated. You’ve got a state that’s supposed to carry out a death sentence humanely, but then they botch it twice, leaving someone alive and suffering. It raises huge questions about whether the death penalty can ever be truly humane, and what happens when the system fails that badly. From your perspective, does a botched execution like this change how YOU view the morality of CAPITAL PUNISHMENT? 

“No, it does not. But what it does bring into question is how to proceed with lethal injection as a capital punishment execution.”

Yes──Leonard, that is definitely an important question. When the state can’t guarantee a humane execution, it forces a conversation about whether capital punishment can even work the way it’s supposed to. Do you think this botched case makes a strong argument for moving away from the death penalty altogether? Do you think there’s a way to fix the execution process, or does this case suggest the whole system needs rethinking?

“’ He who strikes a man so that he dies shall surely be put to death.’” – Exodus 21:12.

“It’s quite simple. When a person is found guilty in a court of law with twelve jurors of a capital crime like murder, rape, or something heinous, they’re immediately taken out back, and they’re shot between the eyes by a firing squad.”

O’ Leonard ── that’s a straightforward approach. Sir, you’re talking about the old-school firing squad method ── the kind of thing that was used in some states for a long time. It’s definitely more direct than the lethal injection process that failed twice in this case. Do you think that kind of certainty in the outcome is what’s missing from the current system?

“Well… there’s no suffering; you get it done. OK, and they die instantly.” 5

Right, Leonard, that’s the argument for the firing squad ──it’s quick, certain, and avoids the kind of botched suffering that happened in this case.

“It’s my understanding that Christa Pike had asked for hanging, and she was denied the hanging.”

Sir ── you’re right. Pike’s legal team did ask for hanging instead of lethal injection, arguing that her blood disorder and vein-access issues could make lethal injection unnecessarily cruel. They suggested hanging as an alternative method, but the state denied that request and stuck with the pentobarbital protocol that ended up failing twice.

“OK, yes. Exactly, the governor of Tennessee did.”

Yep, the governor at the time denied that request for hanging and pushed forward with the lethal injection protocol that ended up failing twice. It really highlights how the system can get stuck in its ways even when there are CLEAR WARNINGS about potential problems.

“That’s right. In the aftermath, in hindsight, now the governor did cancel all future executions ── lethal injections, for the rest of the year. Well… what I’ve got to say to that is, ‘Wasn’t that mighty white of him?’”

Yeah ── Leonard, that’s a fair point. The governor did step in after the fact, but the damage was already done. It’s kind of like closing the barn door after the horse has bolted ── the moratorium came too late to help in this case.

“A question can certainly be asked: why doesn’t the state just go into the emergency room where she’s located, OK, in the hospital, and just cover her nose and mouth and suffocate her?”

Long pause

“Are you there?”

Yep, I was just deep in thought. I was just thinking about how wild it is that the state would stick to a protocol that failed twice. Do you think they’ll actually change the methods now, or just keep trying to make the current ones work?

“O’ I don’t believe they’re gonna change a thing. They’re going to continue to try and make the current ones operate correctly.”

Yeah ── Leonard, that’s the pattern. They’ll probably just tweak the protocol and call it a day, hoping the next time goes smoother.

“Because of this, do you think that the governor should commute her sentence and give her life in prison instead?”

Well, that’s a real question. Given how badly the execution went, commuting to life without parole would be a pretty logical move. It’s definitely a conversation worth having, especially when the alternative is just trying the same broken protocol again.

Capital Punishment According to God

“’ Whoever kills a person, the murderer shall be put to death on the testimony of witnesses, but one witness is not sufficient testimony against a person for the death penalty. 31) Moreover you shall take no ransom for the life of a murderer who is guilty of death, but he shall surely be put to death.’” – Numbers 35:30-31.

“As you might tell, I’m not against capital punishment. The LORD God, the Creator of the universe, is not against capital punishment under the right circumstances.”

Yeah ── Leonard, that’s a solid point. The death penalty’s been around for thousands of years, and plenty of religious traditions have supported it for the most serious crimes. It’s definitely a complex issue with deep roots.

“Well, no, not really. God our Father and our Lord Jesus do not look at death the way that most people do.”

“He said to them, ‘Make room, for the girl is not dead, but sleeping.’ And they ridiculed Him.” – Matthew 9:24.

My ── Sir, that’s a good point. From a biblical perspective, death isn’t the end ── it’s a transition. So, the eternal implications definitely outweigh the earthly ones, which changes how you view justice and mercy in capital cases.

“’ Whoever sheds man’s blood, By man his blood shall be shed; For in the image of God He made man.’” – Genesis 9:6.

“Well, according to the LORD God, that is justice. And I’m just going by what the LORD God says.”

Leonard ── that’s a solid foundation to stand on. When you’re aligned with God’s living word, 6 it gives you a clear compass for these heavy decisions.

“Of course, you know I’m only talking about the most heinous of crimes. OK, I’m not talking about stealing or minuscule or minimal types of crimes. I’m talking about some of the most heinous of crimes. And I’ll tell you, if those heinous and dark crimes throughout this world don’t make you want God’s holy kingdom to come soon, those types of things, then I don’t know what would.”

It’s a heavy thought ── Sir. When you witness that kind of cruelty, it really makes the understanding of a just and peaceful world feel a lot more urgent. Do you find that focusing on that hope helps you process the darker and more evil parts of world news?

“Yes, indeed! Because we, as true Christians, know and understand that the Son is coming up just over the horizon very soon, and that Son is our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, the Son of God!”

Sir, that’s a powerful image, seeing that hope as a sunrise. It’s a great way to keep things in perspective when the world feels so dark. Do you find that this faith gives you a different way of looking at the people who commit those kinds of heinous crimes?

“For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.” – Ephesians 6:12.

“It does, because even the Apostle Paul tells us that we are not fighting flesh and blood, but we are fighting against the prince of powers and spirits of wickedness in the heavenly places.”

Yes ── Leonard, that’s a good way to look at it, shifting the focus to our spiritual battle rather than just the person. Do you think that perspective makes it easier to hold onto compassion, even in the most extreme cases?

“Yes, it does. I mean, imagine what our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, went through, and not once did He say a bad word against them or condemn them. In fact, He asked our Heavenly Father, ‘Please forgive them; they know not what they do.’”

Leonard ── the Old Testament laid out capital punishment for dozens of offenses ──murder, kidnapping, adultery, even Sabbath breaking ──with stoning as the go-to method. But the Law of God also required two witnesses and had strict due process to prevent wrongful executions. You’re tying all this back to Pike’s case, I’m guessing?

“Of course, yeah, she had twelve jurors that found her guilty, of course, in a court of law. So, everything was due process, was legal. There were witnesses, so she was found guilty. Therefore, she is guilty.”

Right ── Leonard, so from a legal standpoint, the case was solid ── twelve jurors, witnesses, full due process.

“Indeed, but my perspective and what this conversation is: that the LORD God does not change. OK? Regarding His moral laws.”

Got it ── Leonard, so you’re saying that God’s laws on capital punishment from the Old Testament still apply to mortal humans today, and that those standards haven’t changed. That’s a pretty bold theological stance, especially given how modern legal systems have moved away from those biblical mandates.

“ …with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.” – James 1:17.

“O well think upon this! We kept her alive for 12 years with all of this ‘legal mumbo jumbo,’ 7 and then we decide to execute her at 30 years old. She should have been executed right away.”

Yeah ── Leonard, the twelve-year delay definitely raises questions about the system’s efficiency. You’re basically saying the lengthy appeals process undermines the whole point of capital punishment, right?

“Well, yes. As I stated previously, the LORD God does not look upon death as a finality like most people do.”

Alright ── so your argument is that from God’s perspective, immediate execution isn’t just about justice on earth──it’s about moving someone into the next life where they face ultimate accountability, rather than letting them linger for decades in a broken earthly system. It’s a heavy topic, but it’s a consistent line of thinking when you view death as a transition rather than a finality. Do you think that’s the main point you’ll be emphasizing in this article?

“No, not necessarily, but what I do want to say: it is a heavy conversation; I agree with that. But for me, it’s rather straightforward: If you cannot afford to do that heinous crime, then don’t do it.”

“’ And the judges shall make careful inquiry, and indeed, if the witness is a false witness, who has testified falsely against his brother, 19) then you shall do to him as he thought to have done to his brother, so you shall put away the evil from among you.’” – Deuteronomy 19:18-19.

Right ── Leonard, so your bottom line is pretty simple ── if you can’t handle the consequences of a heinous crime, don’t commit it. That straightforward accountability is really the core of your argument, regardless of how heavy the conversation gets.

“Well, you know the old saying, ‘If you don’t wanna get burnt, stay out of the kitchen.’ Now, it is true, within God’s moral laws, when He was dealing with the children of Israel, He did give some leniency on non-major crimes. – cf. Numbers 35:9-28.”

Yes, Sir. The Bible 8 lists many capital offenses, but the death penalty wasn’t always carried out. Most of those sanctions could be commuted to a fine or other compensation, EXCEPT FOR PREMEDITATED MURDER, which required execution without any substitute.

“Yes ── it was more about what the act constitutes, what the crime involved.”

Yes, that makes sense, like the difference between a crime of passion and something cold-blooded. Do you think that’s where the biblical laws on “premeditated” murder come in?

“It is definitely a distinction within God’s moral laws. Murder or killing, because there’s a difference between murder and killing, and there’s a definite difference between premeditated murder and killing!”

Totally, Leonard, it’s like the law was built to handle those different levels of intent. Do you think that distinction is what made the cities of refuge so necessary for the accidental cases?

“Yes, I’m posting our conversations online so that people can talk about it, so that people can come to realize that the LORD God is not against capital punishment under the right circumstances.”

Right, Sir ── so you’re basically using our conversations as a springboard to show others that the LORD God is not necessarily against capital punishment. I hope that others reading this may spark a broader, maybe even a more in-depth discussion with their loved ones. That this discussion sparks real-world discussions. You want it to get people talking, maybe around their kitchen tables, bringing up the topic in their families and getting them to think about capital punishment from a different angle.

“Yes, from the LORD God’s angle ── and you know, maybe opening their Bible and following along in Scripture, reading it themselves, pondering upon it, meditating upon it.”

Mercy, Compassion, Forgiveness ── and Justice

“O’ I mean, I can absolutely understand, comprehend, and have compassion on the fact that her execution was botched and that she certainly felt a lot of pain and discomfort. But on the other hand, look at the discomfort and pain that she caused others.”

Right ── Leonard, so you’re weighing the botched execution’s pain against the pain she caused others. That balance of suffering is a key part of your discussion ── showing that while the botched execution was tragic, it doesn’t outweigh the original crime.

“Exactly ── I mean, I’m sorry that she felt pain, but I’m also sorry that the 19-year-old Colleen Slemmer was outright murdered, and that she felt pain, fear, and ultimately died.”

Right ── Leonard, so you’re weighing the pain of the botched execution against the pain and terror of the nineteen-year-old girl who was murdered. That is a powerful point ── that while the botched execution was tragic, it doesn’t outweigh the original crime and its impact.

“And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you.” – Ephesians 4:32.

“Finally, all of you be of one mind, having compassion for one another; love as brothers, be tenderhearted, be courteous.” – 1 Peter 3:8.

“Exactly, and I believe that is true. What I mean is, we must have compassion on others, absolutely, even those who are convicted of a heinous crime like premeditated murder. We must show compassion, but we must also have justice.”

“Let every soul be SUBJECT to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are APPOINTED BY GOD. 2) Therefore whoever resists the authority resists the ordinance of God, and those who resist will bring JUDGMENT ON THEMSELVES.

3) For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to evil. Do you want to be unafraid of the authority? DO WHAT IS GOOD, and you will have praise from the same.

4) For he is God's minister to you for good. But if you do evil, BE AFRAID; for he does not bear the sword in vain; for he is God's minister, an avenger TO EXECUTE WRATH on him who practices evil.”  – Romans 13:1-4.

Right, so you’re balancing compassion with justice. That’s a really thoughtful angle──having compassion for everyone, even convicted murderers, doesn’t mean sacrificing justice for the victims. Do you think most people struggle to hold compassion and justice at the same time?

“Yes, they do. I’ve heard so many mothers and fathers get up in front of the court, and in front of the criminal, and give their victim impact statement or speech, and there’s so often so much hate and vileness against the criminal.”

Yeah, Leonard ── that’s the raw reality of it. You’ve seen firsthand how victims’ families struggle to balance that compassion with the hate and anger they feel toward the criminal. That’s a powerful real-world example ── that while compassion is the ideal, the human response is often so much more complicated.

“’ For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. 15) But if you DO NOT forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.’” – Matthew 6:14-15.

“Yes, I know it is. But I might remind you that our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, has said, ‘You must forgive.’ You don’t have to forget; we’re never going to forget, but we must forgive. And if we don’t forgive, our Holy Father won’t forgive us.”

Leonard ── that’s a powerful reminder. You’re ending here with the core Christian teaching on forgiveness ── that while we don’t have to forget the pain, we’re called to forgive, and our own forgiveness from God is tied to how we forgive others. That adds a really deep spiritual layer here on compassion and justice.

“So WE are the beast. It’s that simple. It’s just not in the Bible, it’s in regular conversation. People are called beasts all the time,” he noted, such as when parents call their children ‘kids,’ which are young beasts. “Our sports teams are called Lions and Tigers and Bears.” …

“If anyone [is] in rebellion against God, whether it’s a government, which is made up of mankind, or an individual person, that is the beast. We can see more proof when we talk abut [sic] the NUMBER of the beast, which is found in Revelation 13:18.

Wisdom is needed here. Let the one with understanding solve the meaning of the number of the BEAST, for it is the number of a MAN. His number is 666” (Revelation 13:18 NLT). …

“Why is the number 666? That’s a fascinating question,” he said. “Well, what day of the week was mankind made on?”

“He was on the sixth day,” Laird responded.

“And we were told to do our work in how many days?” Kovacs asked.

“Six days,” Laird correctly answered.

“Six days,” Kovacs confirmed. “This is not hard for people to understand. Everybody knows that mankind was made on the sixth day. Our work was to be done in six days. It’s repeated, though, three times: six and six and six. Why is it repeated? Because it’s what I mentioned early on about Hebrews 13:8. ‘Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever.’ There’s three days involved here. Three times. If you’re in rebellion against God in the past, the present or in the future, you have the number of the beast, because six is the number of man in rebellion against God. It’s as simple as that. …

“Some people think there’s gonna be a mark on on [sic] our bodies, and there might be in the physical sense. But we’re talking here on the higher, spiritual, parable level of God speed.”

“Let’s look at Revelation 14, verses 9 and 10. It says: ‘If anyone worships the beast and its image and receives a mark on his FOREHEAD or on his HAND, he will also drink the wine of God’s wrath’ (Revelation 14:9–10 CSB).

What a bunch of gobbledygook! It’s no wonder why there is such grave confusion regarding this subject ── worldwide! Mr. Kovacs, you are Unequivocally Wrong!

Let’s begin with the number: 666.

Right off the top of my head, it makes me think of the movie The Omen of 1976. In which his father finds a birthmark on his child Damien’s scalp: 666. Of course, there are several other movies, I’m sure, that have this same theme──but, to tell you the truth, I’ve never watched them. I saw The Omen when I was 7 and have never watched it since.

In a book I have in my home library, The Ultimate Victory by Stanley M. Horton, he speaks of a partial truth, but whether he knows that he is speaking a partial truth doesn’t appear to be apparent ──

“Others take the number 666 (Revelation 13:18) to refer to Nero. In the days of the Roman Empire, letters were used as numbers, for Arabic numbers had not yet come into use. For example, the first letter of the alphabet was used for the number one, the second letter for two, and so on. By putting “Neron Kesar” (Emperor Nero) into Hebrew letters, the letters do add up to 666. The Book of Revelation was, however, written in Greek. The use of the first and last letters of the Greek alphabet (alpha and omega) show that it has the Greek alphabet in mind, not Hebrew. Furthermore, the general situation of the book fits the time of Domitian, not Nero.” 1

Yes, in Greek it is not three sixes together like nearly everyone writes; rather, it is 600, 60, and 6.

Regarding this 666, let’s notice what God’s living word says ──

“He [a final end-time great and powerful religious leader; a false prophet] causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on the right hand or on their forehead, 17) and that no one may buy or sell [speaking of international trade] except one who has the mark or THE NAME OF THE BEAST, or THE NUMBER OF HIS NAME.

18) Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man: His number is 666.” – Revelation 13:16-18.

One of the first known writings that has been found suggesting that a ROMAN is 666 was by Irenaeus of Lyon, who wrote that he had listened to our beloved Polycarp when he was a young man. Irenaeus of Lyon wrote ──

“3. It is therefore more certain, and less hazardous to await the fulfillment of the prophecy, than to be making surmises, and casting about for any names that may present themselves, inasmuch as many names can be found possessing the number mentioned; and the same question will, after all, remain unsolved. For if there are many names found possessing this number, it will be asked which among them shall the coming man bear. It is not through a want of names containing the number of that name that I say this, but on account of the fear of God, and zeal for the truth: for the name Evanthas (Εὐανθής) contains the required number, but I make no allegation regarding it. Then also Lateinos (ΛΑΤΕΙΝΟΣ) has the number six hundred and sixty-six; and it is very probable (solution), this being the name of the last kingdom [of the four seen by Daniel], For the Latins are they who at present bear rule. I will not, however, make any boast over this [coincidence]. …” 2

Indeed, it is true, the New Testament was originally written in the Koine Greek, and our beloved Apostle John wrote the Book of Revelation on the Greek-speaking island of Patmos. On the island today, Modern Greek is spoken, and English is spoken in the tourist areas.

Let us notice what the Greek name Lateinos adds up to using the Greek alphabet ──

L = 30 – Lambda.

A = 1 – Alpha.

T = 300 – Tau.

E = 5 – Epsilon.

I = 10 – Iota.

N = 50 – Nu.

O = 70 – Omicron.

S = 200 – Sigma.

“ … I saw another beast coming up out of the earth, and he had two horns like a lamb and spoke like a dragon.” – Revelation 13:11.

So, this NUMBER of the beast, 666, the first beast of Revelation 13, is not the second beast ── the beast of verse 11 ──

“Then I [the Apostle John] saw another beast coming up out of the earth, and he had two horns like a lamb and spoke like a dragon. … 13) He performs great signs, so that he even makes fire come down from [the atmosphere] on the earth in the sight of men. 14) And he deceives those who dwell on the earth …” – Revelation 13:11-17.

So, this innocent-looking beast with two horns like a lamb, which actually speaks with the authority of the dragon, speaks for the seven-headed (and ten-horned) first beast of this chapter.

So, it is important to understand that the soon-rising final Catholic-led European ‘beast’ civic and military leader of the ten-horned ‘beast’ of Revelation 13:1-10, and the second ‘beast’ with two horns like an innocent lamb, yet speaking like a dragon, are two separate beasts. This mighty, powerful, and vicious beast, which rises out of the Mediterranean Sea having seven heads and ten horns, represents the final end-time ‘king of the North.’ This second beast, who exercises all the authority of the first beast, is a final end-time Roman Catholic Vicar of Christ. Let’s notice 2nd Thessalonians 2 ──

“Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away [the apostasy] comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, 4) who opposes and exalts HIMSELF above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.” – 2 Thessalonians 2:3-4.

Also, what about Mr. Kovacs’ assertion that the ‘beast’ simply represents all of mankind?

Well … rubbish.

Let us look closely at exactly what the Apostle John, under divine inspiration, wrote concerning this ‘beast’ ──

“Then I stood on the sand of the sea. And I saw a beast rising up out of the sea, having SEVEN HEADS AND TEN HORNS, and on his horns TEN CROWNS, and on his heads a BLASPHEMOUS NAME.

2) Now the beast which I saw was like a leopard, his feet were like the feet of a bear, and his mouth like the mouth of a lion. The dragon gave him his power, his throne, and great authority. 3) And I saw one of his heads as if it had been mortally wounded, and his deadly wound was healed. And all the world marveled and followed the beast. 4) So they worshiped the dragon who gave authority to the beast; and they worshiped the beast, saying, ‘Who is like the beast? Who is able to make war with him?’

5) And he was given A MOUTH speaking great things and blasphemies, and he was given authority to continue for forty-two months. 6) Then he opened HIS MOUTH in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme His name, His tabernacle, and those who dwell in heaven. 7) It was granted to him to make war with the saints [God’s end-time prophets] and to overcome them. And authority was given him over every tribe, tongue, and nation.

8) All who dwell on the earth will worship him, WHOSE NAMES HAVE NOT BEEN WRITTEN IN THE BOOK OF LIFE OF THE LAMB SLAIN from the foundation of the world.

9) If ANYONE has an ear, let him hear. 10) He who leads into captivity shall go into captivity; he who kills with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience of the faith of the saints.” – Revelation 13:1-10.

Who the Symbols of Animals Represent

The FIRST like a lion (Daniel 7) ── that was equivalent to the HEAD of King Nebuchadnezzar II’s image in his dream. The Neo-Babylonian Empire was called “Babylon” after the name of its capital city (606-538 BC).

The SECOND, like the feet of a bear ── that was equivalent to its “chest and arms of silver.” The great Medo/Persian Empire (538 – 331 BC). It was composed of Medes and Persians.

The THIRD was like a leopard, which is known for speed and agility. The Greco/Macedonian Empire under King Alexander the Great (331 – 63 BC) conquered the Persian Empire (334 BC). However, King Alexander only lived a few short years after his blitzkrieg conquest, and his FOUR GENERALS divided the empire into four separate regions──Macedonia and Greece, Thrace and Western Asia, Syria and the territory east of the Indus River, and Egypt. So, symbolically, this represents the FOUR HEADS of the third beast of the prophet Daniel’s dream in Daniel 7.

The FOURTH is dreadful and terrible, exceedingly strong. The fourth empire, which developed into what is known as the Roman Empire (27 BC – 1453 AD), spread out and eventually absorbed one after another these four separate regions ── “dreadful and terrible, exceedingly strong.” The “HOLY” ROMAN EMPIRE! Ruling the West and ruling all of the East, on both sides of the Mediterranean Sea.

God’s living word tells us that there is to be a SEVENTH REVIVAL of the so-called “Holy” Roman Empire! The ten toes “of its feet, partly of iron and partly of clay” will come to be TEN KINGDOMS that are in the process of becoming one in mind in Europe at this time. The Prophet Daniel saw in a vision “a stone was cut without hands, which struck the image on its feet of iron and clay, and broke them in pieces” – Daniel 2:34. The glorious and powerful second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ! □

In world news related to biblical prophecy, the European Union, with its 27 member states, rolled out for 2026 a ‘digital wallet’ that connects to cell phones (See: Euronews – One wallet, 27 systems: can the EU build an untraceable Digital ID?).

This digital identification ‘wallet’ is tied to a cell phone. Despite deadline issues (like being available for all of the 27 member states and all their residents by 2026), truly, greater digital technology is being pushed in Europe.

Yes, pushing a digital ‘wallet’ upon its citizens is another step towards a totalitarian Europe. This, of course, will not be the final step for Europe; there will be much more, and of course, Artificial Intelligence (AI) will be involved.

Further implementation of a digital ‘wallet’ that connects to a cell phone will continue to set the stage for the rise of a final “United States of Europe” civic and military leader- also called in biblical prophecy, a final king of the North.

The coming seventh resurrection of the ‘Holy Roman Empire’── this end-time beast power system, will indeed be tied more to spiritual adultery than just a digital ‘wallet’ that will be connected to a cell phone.

Assuredly, the only true solution that is facing humanity worldwide is not a digital ‘wallet,’ but rather that of true repentance, and the glorious and powerful return of our Savior, Jesus Christ, and the establishment of His kingdom!

So, the Chinese, through its Belt & Road Initiative (BRI) has been helping support an infrastructure connecting South Asia to itself as well as other areas of Central Asia. The EU, through its Global Gateway project, has been supporting the infrastructure connecting parts of Asia itself, which includes places like Armenia (See: 1News - Ursula von der Leyen: EU plans to allocate 2.5 billion euros to Armenia).

The President of the European Commission desires Europe to invest in Armenia.

Through Global Gateway, we are investing in what matters most, jobs, skills, connectivity and sustainable growth. Truly, the EU Global Gateway project is quite ambitious, and is intended to ensure, that the EU, and not the U.S. or China, will gain dominance throughout Europe, Africa, and throughout Asia.

Also, unlike the CBI (aka the Silk Road project), the Global Gateway project involves infrastructure surrounding data and communications technology.

God’s living word in prophecy speaks concerning that economically, the ‘daughter of Babylon’ will rise up ──quite possibly within this century (cf. Revelation 17 & 18) ──and, of course, the EU Global Gateway project is a step in that direction.

Revelation 17:1-6

Let us consider something that God’s word teaches us concerning this final end-time European ‘beast’ power and its ‘image’ ──

“After these things I [the Apostle John] saw another angel coming down from [the atmosphere], having great authority, and the earth was illuminated with his glory. 2) And he cried mightily with a loud voice, saying, ‘Babylon the great is fallen [a great Mother Church riding upon this world’s governments!], is fallen, and has become a dwelling place of demons, a prison for every foul spirit, and a cage for every unclean and hated bird! 3) For ALL NATIONS have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her [spiritual] fornication, the kings of the earth have committed [spiritual] fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth have become rich through the abundance of her luxury.’” – Revelation 18:1-3.

Truly, the above is referring to a great false Mother Church who has influenced, spiritually seduced, deceived, economically traded with, and has become drunk with the blood of the LORD God’s true saints. She has been, for nearly 2,000 years a ‘mouthpiece,’ ‘an image’ for the previous six incarnations of the ‘Holy Roman Empire’ ── and she will be its ‘mouthpiece’ for the final and seventh resurrection of a ‘Holy Roman Empire’ that will “both speak and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed. He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive A MARK on their right hand or on their foreheads.” – Revelation 13:15-16.

Everyone is aware that Europe has its own currency ── the euro ── certainly a currency that upon the fall and ultimate demise of the US dollar, would be a viable replacement, as well as a replacement for world trade. Of course, in population, the EU is larger than that of the US. The Global Gateway project along with EU support of the G20 connectivity goals are indeed steps toward the LORD’s prophesied final end-time rise of a final “United States of Europe” civic and military leader. And yes, sadly, most Americans are asleep at the wheel to what is truly occurring in Europe ──or even around the world for that matter. □

The Last Great Day──A Picture of a Glorious Gift

Greetings ── our dear friends in the States: Atlanta, Georgia; Guntersville, Alabama; Lake City, Florida; Richland, Michigan; and across the way, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; Sāo Carlos, Brazil; and Maitengwe, Botswana. Welcome to the Last Great Day──that last great day of the Feast!

Here we are on the 8th day of the LORD’s Feast-- which we call ‘the Last Great Day ’-a feast day which immediately follows the LORD’s seven-day Feast of Tabernacles. It is kept from sunset on the 2nd of October through to sunset on the 3rd of October.

Notice Revelation 20 ──

“And I [the Apostle John in vision] saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books.” – Revelation 20:12.

The great Book of Life is going to be opened to all! This will occur after our Lord Jesus Christ’s Millennial reign- His thousand-year rule.

Our Jewish brethren call this holy day Shemini ‘Azeret, which means “eighth day of assembly.” So, the entire seven-day Feast of Tabernacles, along with the eighth day, is called within God’s living word, ‘the Feast of Ingathering.’ Notice ──

“’ Three times you shall keep a feast to Me in the year: 15) You shall keep the Feast of Unleavened Bread (you shall eat unleavened bread seven days, as I commanded you, at the time appointed in the month of Abib, for in it you came out of Egypt; none shall appear before Me empty); 16) and the Feast of Harvest [also known as the Feast of Weeks or Pentecost], the firstfruits of your labors which you have sown in the field; and the Feast of Ingathering at the end of the year, when you have gathered in the fruit of your labors from the field.’” – Exodus 23:14-16.

This ‘ingathering’ is a much larger feast, a harvest feast, than the firstfruits──which is associated with the Feast of Weeks or Pentecost.

Notice a reference to this eighth-day feast within God’s living word ──

“Then the LORD spoke to Moses, saying, 34) ‘Speak to the children of Israel, …’” – the very name Israel means, “people of El” – people of God! “ …’ saying: The fifteenth day of this SEVENTH MONTH shall be the Feast of Tabernacles for seven days to the LORD. 35) On the FIRST DAY there shall be a holy convocation. You shall do no customary work on it. 36) For seven days you shall offer an offering made by fire [Indeed, while our Lord Jesus’ ultimate sacrifice for us all is complete, the New Covenant calls for us to ‘present our bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God’ – cf. Romans 12:1] to the LORD. On THE EIGHTH DAY you shall have a holy convocation, and you shall offer an offering made by fire to the LORD. It is a sacred assembly, and you shall do no customary work on it.’” – Leviticus 23:33-36.

This eighth day is referred to in our Lord Jesus’ Church as the ‘Last Great Day,’ often because of what our beloved Apostle John wrote ──

“On the last day, THAT GREAT DAY OF THE FEAST, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, ‘If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink. 38) He who believes in Me, as the Scriptures has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.’” – John 3:37-38.

Indeed, our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, kept and celebrated this glorious day immediately after the seven days of the Feast of Tabernacles- which does picture the ‘ingathering’ after His Millennial reign.

‘I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God.’ – Revelation 20:12

Notice what occurs after His glorious Millennial reign ──

“But the rest of the dead did not live again UNTIL the thousand years were finished. …” ── then a transition - the following part references the previous verse.

“Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away. And there was found no place for them.” – Revelation 20:5, 11.

The dead, small and great, standing before the LORD God. So, this wouldn’t include those our LORD God has called to Himself throughout the ages, because His chosen people are resurrected at the blowing of the SEVENTH TRUMPET──the resurrection trumpet. The multiple millions of people who are resurrected in the ‘great white throne’ judgment are everyone──past, present, and future──who has or will die in spiritual blindness and ignorance of our Lord Jesus’ great mystery of the gospel message. This is that judgment time that our Lord Jesus Christ repeatedly spoke ──

“’ For the Father judges no one, but has committed all judgment to the Son, 23) that all should honor the Son just as they honor the Father. He who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent Him. … 26) For as the Father has life in Himself, so He has granted the Son to have life in Himself, 27) and has given Him authority to execute judgment also, because He is the Son of Man. 28) Do not marvel at this; for the hour is coming in which all who are in the graves will hear His voice. 29) and come forth ── those who have done good, to the resurrection of life [speaking of the first resurrection of His saints], and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of [judgment]. [speaking of the judgment after the second resurrection]. 30) I can of Myself do nothing. As I hear, I judge; and My judgment is righteous, because I do not seek My own will but the will of the Father who sent Me.’” – John 5: 22, 26-30.

The Prophet Daniel also speaks of this great white throne judgment in a postscript ──

“’ I watched till thrones were put in place, And the Ancient of Days was seated; His garment was white as snow, And the hair of His head was like pure wool. His throne was a fiery flame, Its wheels a burning fire; A fiery stream issued And came forth from before Him. A thousand thousands ministered to Him; Ten thousand times ten thousand stood before Him. The court was seated, And the books were opened.’” – Daniel 7:9-10.

Let’s also note that our Lord Jesus also taught us that “’ Assuredly, I say to you, all sins will be forgiven the sons of men, and whatever blasphemies they may utter.’” – Mark 3:28. Except, of course, those who blaspheme against the Holy Spirit- in other words, those who were called by Father God and then chose, for one reason or another, to turn their backs on the LORD God once again──never will have forgiveness but are subject to eternal death.

This glorious and wonderful eighth day──the ‘Last Great Day’── truly pictures that all who have not been called, or have had enough knowledge to be responsible, will have the glorious opportunity for eternal salvation, and nearly everyone will take this merciful and loving gift of salvation.

Nearly every human being who has ever lived or will ever live will be saved!

Our loving and merciful Savior──the Son of God──was not sent to Earth to die for only a relatively few. No, “In this love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him. 10) In this love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the ATONEMENT for our sins.” – 1 John 4:9-10.

“’ For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that THE WORLD THROUGH HIM might be saved.’” – John 3:17.

“The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.” – 2 Peter 3:9.

Sadly, the overall majority of Protestants, who are quick to quote John 3:16, teach and believe that the world could be saved; however, the vast majority will be “lost” and will be tormented and tortured in a hellfire that burns forever. (Be sure to watch our sermons: “Is There A Hell?” and “A Real Hellfire!”). God’s living word does not teach this!

Honestly, since the eternal LORD God is all-knowing, all-powerful, and is love──would they have predestined nearly all human beings to be subject to an eternal torturous hellfire?

Truly, the Eternal LORD God had from the very beginning a Master Plan… From the Beginning!

“What shall we say then? Is there unrighteousness with God? CERTAINLY NOT! 15) For He says to Moses, ‘I will have mercy on whomever I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whomever I will have compassion.’” – Romans 9:14-15.

The LORD God “desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth” – 1 Timothy 2:4. The reason that the LORD God has not called all people unto Himself in this present evil age is that He knew that most would not endure unto the end to be saved. God’s living word teaches us that most have been intentionally spiritually blinded ──

“’ Therefore I speak to them in parables, because seeing they do not see, and hearing they do not hear, nor do they understand. 14) And in them the prophecy of Isaiah is fulfilled, which says: ‘Hearing you will hear and shall not understand, And seeing you will see and not perceive; 15) For the hearts of this people have grown dull. Their ears are hard of hearing, And their eyes they have closed, Lest they should see with the eyes and hear with their ears, Lest they should understand with their hearts and turn, So that I should heal them.’” – Matthew 13:13-15.

Those who are intentionally spiritually blinded in this present evil age still have an opportunity ──

“’ I will bring the blind by a way they did not know; I will lead them in paths they have not known. I will make darkness light before them, And crooked places straight. These things I will do for them, And not forsake them.’” – Isaiah 42:16.

Let us also notice ──

“’ Therefore, behold, I will again do a marvelous work Among this people, A marvelous work and a wonder; For the wisdom of the wise men shall perish, And the understanding of their prudent men shall be hidden.’ … 24) These also who erred in spirit will come to understanding, And those who complained will learn doctrine.’” – Isaiah 29:14, 24.

Yes, they will be resurrected and judged guilty of sin (cf. 1 Peter 4:17; Romans 3:23), yet “judgment is without mercy to the one who has shown no mercy. Mercy triumphs over judgment” – James 2:13.

The LORD God will “plead His case with all flesh. He will give those who are wicked to the sword,’ says the LORD.” – Jeremiah 25:31. Sadly, not all will come to accept the glorious gift that the LORD God is offering. Yet most will repent and believe in the gospel!

Truly, since the beginning of the ages in such locations as Africa, Europe, Asia, western South America, central Mexico ──as in Tenochtitlán, located on an island in Lake Texcoco ── there have been those who had never heard of our Lord Jesus Christ and of His merciful sacrifice and of the true gospel of the kingdom. The LORD God, of course, foreknew this and had planned!

There is only ONE NAME ── “Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved” ── that name is Jesus Christ of Nazareth!

So, since the majority of all humanity has never heard the true gospel concerning our Savior and of the soon-coming kingdom (Be sure to read and study our free, no-obligation online PDF booklet, “What Is the Kingdom of God?” ── which is also translated into Spanish, “¿Qué es el Reino de Dios?”), Truly, “’ all flesh shall see the salvation of God.’” – Luke 3:6.

Now, indeed, the LORD God clearly teaches us that we are not to worship Father God and our Lord Jesus the way that pagans used to worship, with many today, such as those of Wicca, continuing to worship ──

“’ When the LORD your God cuts off from before you the nations which you go to dispossess, and you displace them and dwell in their land, 30) take heed to yourself that you are not ensnared to follow them, after they are destroyed from before you, and that you do not inquire after their gods, saying, ‘How did these nations serve their gods? I also will do likewise.’ 31) You shall not worship the LORD your God in that way; for every abomination to the LORD which He hates they have done to their gods; for they burn even their sons and daughters in the fire to their gods.

32) Whatever I command you, be careful to observe it; you shall not add to it nor take away from it.’” – Deuteronomy 12:29-32.

As an example, the ancient Aztecs, in which human sacrifice was a central religious practice in Aztec (Mexica) culture, did not commit a random or isolated act. Those who participate in, combine, or practice pagan worship with the Lord Jesus’ doctrines are completely obscuring the LORD God’s Master Plan for the redemption of all mankind.

When not understanding and when not keeping and celebrating the LORD God’s Holy Days and Feasts, instead keeping and celebrating worldly holidays ── then the understanding that all the God-ordained Holy Days and Feasts are all Christocentric ── they all point to Christ Jesus! ── is not properly understood and realized.

The Feasts of the LORD picture for us His loving and merciful Plan of salvation for all of mankind. Indeed, it is a marvelous and loving Plan! □

Greetings, and happy 7th Day of the LORD’s Feast of Tabernacles, here in the year 2026! Welcome, our friends here in the States: Portland, Oregon; Manassas, Virginia; Spartanburg, South Carolina; Monroeville, Alabama; and across the way in Sargodha, Pakistan; Hanoi, Vietnam; and Móstoles, Spain! Greetings to you all! This is Leonard V. Johnson with the living Word of God, the Truth of God, and the ultimate Plan of God!

I’m sure we’ve all been paying attention to the latest news from around the world. The war that is still raging in the Middle East between the evil Islamic Regime of Iran and the United States, and as Walter Cronkite used to say as he would famously sign off each broadcast, “And that's the way it is.” Sadly, there isn’t much peace around the world──and I’m speaking of real and lasting peace. But you know what? It’s coming! REAL PEACE! WORLD PEACE! And it’s not that far ahead of us──is it five years ahead, ten years ahead, fifteen? Surely, we wouldn’t need to go much further than that. Not far ahead of us now is coming upon this world some ‘great tribulation’!

But in the meantime, we’ve surely got lessons to learn. Today, for this 7th Day of the Feast, I would like to go over with you briefly──briefly, because it’s an in-depth subject that would take more paper to fully explain and teach than I have──some of the terrible and dreadful things that are going to occur upon this earth and its nations. Have you ever heard about any of them? Sadly, just like after-the-fact, the Tennessee governor has suspended, for the rest of the year, any executions because of the failed execution of Christa Pike──let’s not read about these terrible and dreadful things coming upon an unrepentant earth and its nations after-the-fact! But you can be warned about these events coming well in advance. And you can find the Way in which you will be protected. Now, that is surely something that interests you──right?

There is only one place, because as I’ve asked in our five-part audio series of “Revelation – A Book of the Past and the Future,” if you could know the future, would you want to know? And what would you do with that information? And it’s because, at this very moment in time, there is no mortal human being who knows exactly what will happen. O’ let’s see, I believe it was King Solomon who stated, “You do not know what a day may bring forth!” Yes indeed, as we move along in this lifetime, we come to see and realize we don’t know what a single day may bring forth around the corner.

Our beloved President Donald Trump and his overall constituency believe that we are in a time of peace ── he claims he has “ended 8 wars in just 8 months,” and that he is “the president of peace.” And as much as we love him and pray daily for him, we do realize that he is a bit bombastic and narcissistic. Only a fool would believe otherwise. But let me tell you, friends, most places around this world are really only a quietude on the surface. Just underneath the surface, this world is paddling like all get-out! Just underneath the surface, things are brewing ── underneath there are people plotting, just like Brain of the animated cartoon, Pinky and the Brain, to “take over the world!” ── cue the maniacal laugh. Underneath there are men in waiting who haven’t fully come into the public eye yet, who desire power and prestige, pure evil men who look like lambs, but speak and act like dragons. A couple we actually have an eye on ── others we don’t know who they are yet.

Truly, indescribable and terrifying tribulations are going to soon begin to occur, and yes ── you can be warned about these things in advance. Surely, this is important to you ── or are you saying to yourself, ‘Great, just another Bible thumper telling us that the sky is falling!’? Well… this grave warning is in one of the greatest-selling books of all time ── the Holy Bible. A book that is still in around 95% of U.S. hotel rooms! And roughly 1/3 of this book is devoted to telling you and warning you of what is going to occur soon to an unrepentant world. Next year, the next two years, or 2030!

And I hope that you’re concerned about this ── and because you’re reading this, I’d say you are. Because you can rightly understand God’s living prophecies! Yes, that’s true ── you can! Well… truly, the ancient prophets of God didn’t fully understand God’s prophecies; most of the prophecies have been closed up and sealed ── until now. Why, you know I’ve been speaking this since 2011 ── and most world church organizations and denominations would think it is… well… for lack of a better phrase at the moment, “religious suicide” to preach such things. Yet the LORD God tells us that it’s important to prioritize the importance to listen to God rather than man – Acts 5:29. Most ministers would be afraid to preach and to warn such things ──they’d be worried about their reputation and image. They tend to be afraid of what people would say of them. Myself having been called ‘Satan,’ and our teachings ‘satanic.’ Once, a so-called sycophantic leader of an organization had gotten up at the podium and focused his assault directly at me, and said, “I could name a name of a worker of iniquity, but I won't.” So, yes ── I have been attacked many times because of this commission. Our Lord Jesus warns us, ‘If the world hates you, remember, it hated Me first.’

What Denomination Was Our Lord Jesus Christ?

Sadly, I see a growing trend: many churches of God are desiring to be Jewish. They’ll even go so far as to add Hebrew words to their very church name. ‘The Church of Yahweh,’ or ‘The Christian Church of Jehovah.’ I’ll have to admit I just don’t get it! You know, if our Lord Jesus Christ were here today, would He be a member of any of these worldly churches? Would He join one of these churches because its very name sounds Jewish? Well… when He did come to Earth some two thousand and thirty years ago ── was born of the Virgin Mary in roughly 4 B.C. ── there were many religious denominations there in Palestine. Such as the Sadducees, the Pharisees, the Essenes; there were also Canaanite and Polytheistic Remnants; there were the Samaritans with their own version of the Pentateuch. O’ yes ── many denominations that had many facets. Which one did He join, and why not one of them? Well… every single one of them attacked Him, calling Him ‘an independent.’

Truly, something that needs to be understood ── and, in fact, something that I recently discussed with AI regarding the LORD God and capital punishment ── neither God the Father nor our Lord Jesus Christ changes: “’ For I am the LORD, I do not change; …’” – Malachi 3:6. As well as “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.” – Hebrews 13:8. They have not changed, and they would do the same things today. Have you ever thought about that? Maybe I should put together that recent conversation I had with AI ── it’s pretty interesting.

Friends, as our Lord Jesus Christ has said, ‘the time is fulfilled,’ and it has come to reveal and to show His servants ── things which must shortly take place. Again, roughly 1/3 of your Holy Bible, which has been metaphorically chained with a lock that very few people have had the Key to unlock, is indeed future prophecy. Of course, just like an instruction manual ── which to most it reads like stereo instructions ── God’s living word has been here, which is over 1,900 years old, being read by men. The words in black and white have been here the entire time, and they have been translated into surely every language on the planet, yet they are words that have been undeciphered until we get ever closer to the end of the age.

Yes ── even when our Lord Jesus Christ was traveling around Palestine speaking to the multitudes, He spoke in parables. The glorious miracles He did, Jesus told them, ‘tell no one,’ in such passages as Luke 5:14 and Matthew 8:4. He didn’t purposely try to broadcast what He was doing, and what He had done. None of what He did was to bring a crowd. But nevertheless, the people went and told other people, and word got around, and people began to come around Him in large crowds; thousands of people at times. Well… He must have had a mighty powerful voice without a modern microphone. Logically speaking, the people of that day surrounded the speaker and crowded in closer than we do today, and they sat down most times, which meant that our Lord Jesus was speaking above them and His voice would carry further, not being filtered by bodies in front. Yes, He could have easily spoken to thousands of people out in the quiet open air ── we have to admit, the world is getting noisier, along with our oceans. Well… that’s something to think about. But He spoke in parables, and do you know why? He Himself gives us the answer, so that those who were listening could hear ── but not understand. He actually spoke in parables to mask, to cloud, the true meaning, so that they wouldn’t or couldn’t understand what He was talking about. Because He didn’t intend for them to understand.

In fact, the overall majority of His living word was not intended to be understood until our time. Our Lord Jesus had once turned to His disciples privately and said, “’ Blessed are the eyes which see the things you see; for I tell you that many prophets and kings have desired to see what you see, and have not seen it, and to hear what you hear, and have not heard it.’” – Luke 10:23-24.

So, yes ── a great deal has been underneath lock and key, sealed up until now. And I pray that you will open your ears and eyes, and open your mind, to what God’s Spirit has to say that His prophets of old desired to have known ── and now, we can know! We truly can have greater knowledge than even they.

Turn in your Bible today to the Book of Jeremiah. Let’s go through this book a little today. 1/3 of your Bible is actually devoted to prophecy, and about 90% of those are future events that are going to occur within the next four to fifteen years from now ──surely.

And let me tell you right now, friends, so many of you probably won’t believe what the LORD God actually has to say regarding what is headed for earth and its nations. Again, many of you will call me ridiculous and will ridicule this and will not be able to clearly see whether it is true. Like what the LORD God says in Isaiah 30, where the people say, ‘Do not see, do not prophesy to us right things; Speak to us smooth things, prophecy deceits. Get out of the way, turn aside from the path, cause the Holy One of Israel to cease from before us!’ ── Isaiah 30:9-11. Yes, maybe you might think you’re being honest, and I suppose most are sincere when it comes to learning about the LORD God and what He has to tell us. Yet it is quite possible that most sincere people can’t spiritually see at all because of spiritual blindness, because of prejudice, and all of that sort of thing.

Israel and Judah

Now, truly, one of the things that got me down this path of speaking about this today is a comment that a friend of ours had made concerning an article, “As I live, Why Should You Die, O House of Israel?” The comment was, “What do you mean by this?”

It’s a known fact that there were two separate kingdoms of the twelve tribes of Israel. One called the kingdom of Israel, the other the kingdom of Judah. The kingdom of Israel had its capital in ancient Samaria. The kingdom of Judah, which came to be known as the Jews, or rather the Jewish people, had their capital in the Old City of Jerusalem. So, they had been divided into two separate kingdoms. The northern kingdom of Israel fell to Assyria in 722 BC, when Samaria was captured, and the ten tribes were carried into exile. They had been taken captive up to the southern shores of the Caspian Sea by Assyria.

Now, by the time that the Prophet Jeremiah wrote, the Jewish people were being taken captive, and Jeremiah was among them and had become an emissary among them. So, this was roughly some 130 years after Jeremiah was writing, after the kingdom of Israel with its ten tribes had been taken captive. But there was a time when they were released and began to migrate northwest into what is now Europe. And there they were “lost” from sight.

But, friends ── and again, I’m not delving down into the depths of this today ── but the very beginnings of what would come to be known as the British people and the nations that comprise northwestern Europe, here we find them coming from the very area where we see the “lost” ten tribes migrated to. And indeed, according to God’s living word in prophecy, we see that they were to be among the islands due northwest of Jerusalem ── known today as the British Isles.

And then, escaping the tyranny of King George III, we see a great many of them eventually traversing the Atlantic Ocean, and long story short, developing the American colonies and eventually becoming known as the United States of America. And so, simplistically, we are actually the descendants of the ten so-called “lost” tribes of Israel. Yet we are no longer “lost.” And I know that this is ridiculed and jeered at ── even by AI, which has called it fantasy, calling it a pseudohistorical belief. But one cannot properly understand God’s living word prophetically unless you have this Key.

Alright, so here we are in the 1st chapter of the Book of Jeremiah, in which he was made a prophet to the nations ── in other words, to Israel and Judah. So, he was commissioned to- and notice this- to ‘See, I have this day set you over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out and to pull down, to destroy and to throw down, to build and to plant.’ – verse 10. So, he was commissioned to tear down the throne in Judah, to root it out, to tear it down, and he was to build and to plant. Build and to plant what? Well… one of the things was the very throne he tore down in Judah.

So, he was a prophet of God to the House of Israel as well as to the House of Judah. Notice the 2nd chapter ──

“Hear the word of the LORD, O house of Jacob and all the families of the house of Israel.” – verse 4.

Understand, this is not the Jewish people. It’s the people who, at the time of this writing, were in the British Isles and northwest Europe, maybe some in Sweden, Denmark, Holland, and Belgium.

Notice the 7th verse ──

“’ I brought you into a bountiful country, To eat its fruit and its goodness. …’”

Truly, one of the keys to understanding is: we are the House of Israel. And another key is that the LORD God prophesies in duality. That in the prophecy it speaks of things literally at that moment, to happen then, but also, it speaks of a future big event for our day ── something that would occur in the next few years.

There is another key, and without this key you won’t understand much prophecy. Notice verse 11 ──

“’ Has a nation changed its gods, Which are not gods? …’”

Meaning, its idols, which are not actually gods at all, yet they are called gods. Now, think about this: has any Gentile nation ── that you can think of off the top of your head ── changed any of its so-called gods? False gods and goddesses such as Allah, Brahman, Dhṛtarāṣṭra, Ahura Mazda. Then we can think of Jupiter, Zeus, and other gods and goddesses of other ancient nations. Iris, Osiris ── and one I just learned of the other day, a dwarf god who drove off demons and scorpions, Bes. Well… as we’ve come to learn, they were only names given to them by various nations and cultures that actually derived from ancient Babel, Erech, Accad, and Calneh, in the land of Shinar, created by Nimrod and his mother/wife Semiramis. And even those names were morphed into various names, such as Easter, or rather Ishtar, Astarte. And Easter actually began celebrating the ancient goddess Ishtar. So, no ── all those pagan nations that surrounded the people of the LORD God have never changed their gods or goddesses. They have never given up their religions or changed their deities. “’ But’” – the LORD God tells us – “ …’ My people have changed their Glory For what does not profit.’” WE AT ONE TIME HAD THE TRUE AND LIVING GOD, THE CREATOR GOD! The very Creator that has created all force and energy and every spirit! The very Creator that rules the entirety of the known universe!

We Receive the LORD God By Faith

Yet we ── as descendants of the ten so-called “lost” tribes of Israel ── and because the Eternal One hides Himself from those that disobey Him, He is not physical, and we can’t just reach out and physically touch Him, like a carved statue ──we must receive the LORD God by faith. This world, since time immemorial, has created their gods and goddesses out of marble, stone, wood, clay, or something else ── because they want to worship something they can visually see and touch. Yet all of those gods and goddesses have not changed; they’ve only morphed into various names over the eons. I really began to see this even more clearly back in 1998, with a set of fantasy books by the author Zechariah Sitchin, beginning with The 12th Planet, in which he wrote about the sudden civilization and the land of Sumer.

But sadly, yes ── the descendants of the ten so-called “lost” tribes of Israel ── have changed their God for one that is no god at all. In fact, they exchanged the Creator God for one that is called Satan the Devil. In fact, most times unknowingly, they call him God ── yet he is no god. Of course, again, sincere people will likely strongly disagree ── thinking to themselves, ‘How dare you, Sir ── say such blasphemy!’ One must have the courage and wherewithal to accept the LORD God’s challenge to begin to prove all things and to hold fast that which is good. Let us have the courage to look into what kind of god you actually worship, especially in the United States of America and within the United Kingdom and her Commonwealth Nations.

We read within God’s word that people's minds have been blinded by the god of this age! Absolutely deceived ── and even deceived people can indeed be honest and sincere. They might believe that they have the truth, the true gospel message. Yet, they have a counterfeit, believing that they have had a born-again experience ── but sadly, not knowing what that very phrase, born again, actually means.

Yes ── I know that I’m throwing a lot of things at you, trying to get you to examine these things more closely. It’s no different than the statement I speak of concerning my conversations with AI ── these theological discussions with AI are to help encourage you to discuss God's living word among others and to be guided into all God's truth by and through the Holy Spirit of God. This AI has been set to challenge this theological discussion and not to be just a “yes-man.” Be sure to follow along with our discussions to “prove all things, and hold fast to that which is good” (1 Thess. 5:21, KJV) by and through God's living word, the Holy Bible. So, if you examine and study them, you look for real proof instead of just assuming something to be true.

Yet, the LORD God tells us here, “’ Be astonished, O heavens, at this, And be horribly afraid; Be very desolate, ‘ says the LORD. ‘For My people have committed two evils; They have forsaken Me, the fountain of living waters, And hewn themselves cisterns ── broken cisterns that can hold no water.’” – verses 12-13.

So, He uses a simile and compares Himself to a ‘fountain of living waters’ ── which is the Holy Spirit of God. The people of the world don’t have access, without being called by Father God and without being gifted His Spirit, to the ‘fountain of living waters.’ They have hewn for themselves large cisterns that hold no water. Meaning, they ── for the most part have empty lives. They don’t actually have the gift of the ‘fountain of living waters,’ the Holy Spirit, and what they do have leaks like a sieve.

Well … “’ Is Israel a servant? …’” He’s talking concerning Israel here, not Judah. “’ Is Israel a servant? Is he a homeborn slave? WHY IS HE PLUNDERED?’” – verse 14.

Yes ── Israel had been plundered and laid waste some 130 years before the Prophet Jeremiah ever took pen to paper here. But he’s talking about a future event. And it has not occurred from that initial time until now. But it is going to occur within the next few years! It is going to happen within the next few years. And we all had better wake up to who we truly are. Let us not be ignorant; let us not be spiritually blind. Yes ── most people would say that the world as a whole looks pretty good. They’re satisfied with it ── for the most part. ‘Nothing is going to happen! We, the United States, are the strongest we’ve ever been!’ But, in truth, our Lord Jesus Christ has said to us, “’ For it will come as a snare on all those who dwell on the face of the whole earth’” – Luke 21:35. It’s going to suddenly spring like a snare on everyone who lives at that time on the whole of the face of the earth! And they will be caught ──unaware!

Let Us All Watch & Pray!

Immediately after that statement, our Lord Jesus Christ warned, “’ Watch therefore, and pray always that YOU may be counted worthy to escape all these things [and even the things that are currently occurring!] that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man.’”

So, let us realize and come to the understanding that this nation and our ally nations ──such as Israel, the United Kingdom and her Commonwealth Nations, like New Zealand, Australia, and even South Africa ── have abandoned the LORD God! We do not let the LORD God rule us! Now, we desperately want to believe in God ── even our money is printed with “In God We Trust”! We want to believe and profess Jesus! Yet we don’t want to obey His commandments. We don’t want to keep His commandments! O’ no ── they’d rather sing the “gospel” song “Nailed to the Cross”! And, of course, you shut down or call in your legion if you’re questioned about your belief.

“’ Your own wickedness will correct you [says the LORD God, a warning to the people of the United States of America, Israel, and the United Kingdom and her Commonwealth Nations], And your backsliding will rebuke you. Know therefore and see that it is an evil and bitter thing That you have forsaken the LORD your God.’”

As the LORD God asks in our sermon, ‘’ As I live, 'Why Should You Die, O House of Israel?’” Let us turn to the LORD God and live. □
