Some World News In Relation to Biblical Prophecy ── July 8

 

Cambridge, England. There is a company selling a dystopian-type computer powered by human brain cells! (See: A Reprobate Mind: ‘Inventors of evil things’).

The Apostle Paul ── inspired by God’s Spirit ── has warned us that those who do not want to retain the LORD God in their knowledge could easily become “inventors of evil things.”

“And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not [FITTING]; … 31) Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: 32) Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, …” – Romans 1:28, 31, 32, KJV.

Much new technology is going in the WRONG DIRECTION! And, we need to turn away from such things!

In the United States ── a tragic and devastating flash flood has sadly killed at least 104 in Texas. (See: NBC News - Texas flooding kills at least 104, including Camp Mystic counselors and campers). Our hearts and prayers go out to all the families of those who lost their dear ones in this terrible tribulation.

The LORD God (the Elohim, the family of God, which at this time consists of God the Father and our Lord Jesus Christ) sometimes uses disastrous weather to try to get people’s Attention. Yet, sadly, the majority do not heed. (We do have a video entitled God Is Shaking the Nations! that speaks of this.) I pray always that you do. One thing we should all keep in mind ── weather can change on a dime so quickly and so disastrously. 

God’s living word ── the Holy Bible ── plainly tells us who is in control of our weather! 

“Praise the LORD from the earth, you water-spouts and ocean depths; fire and hail, snow and ice, gales of wind obeying His voice.” – Psalms 148:7-8, NEB.

The LORD God can indeed intervene in disastrous weather to help work out His purpose among His people or nations. Disastrous weather can certainly be a warning to humanity. Now, weather truly operates according to natural laws ── yet, the LORD God can intervene and… say… change the direction of a devastating hurricane or tornado. Then again, the LORD God may choose to not intervene to stop its destruction because of a city, towns, nations, or even a person’s terrible sins and grave idolatry. The LORD God can also directly intervene to cause a weather plague to WARN a certain nation.

“’ I blasted you with blight and mildew. When your gardens increased, Your vineyards, Your fig trees, And your olive trees, The locust devoured them; YET YOU HAVE NOT RETURNED TO ME,’ Says the LORD.” – Amos 4:9.

Also, the LORD God, in Their great Wisdom and Purpose, can allow the god of this present evil age (Satan the Devil) to have a role in enabling disastrous weather, for the LORD God’s will (See Job, Chapter 1). 

In Europe ── they have been having a “historic” heat wave. Indeed. It has been hot in Europe! 

No matter how one might view climate and weather… whether you’re a supporter of this socialistic Green New Deal agenda, or you’re not ── as I have been saying, the LORD God shows us that sin causes problems with our weather. And sometimes with devastating consequences. 

As regular readers and supporters of this glorious work of God are aware, I have repeatedly warned throughout these last 14 years concerning WEATHER.

Concerning climate change and its devastating effect on our weather, which can result in food shortages and growing natural disasters ── see: Matthew 24:7. 

This present evil age is actually in a transitional period, which our Lord Jesus Christ has called “’ the beginning of sorrows,’” or rather, “’ All these are the beginning of birth pains.’” – see: Matthew 24:8.

Over the last 1.4 decades, it certainly feels like each summer is getting hotter ── with record heat being recorded ── even though we have had cooler weather than usual in Florida during our winter months. Notice: 2025 2026 Winter Predictions: What to Expect Across the U.S. and Why It Matters. 

Again, God’s living word shows us that weather-related blessings can happen for our obedience or weather-related curses can occur for our disobedience. Not all weather is random, or… as the ancient Vesuvians believed, that their god Poseidon was shaking the ground. 

But what about this extreme heat? 

God’s living word tells us that it will get worse as we get ever-closer to the end of this present evil age ──

“And I heard another from the altar saying, ‘Even so, Lord God Almighty, true and righteous are Your judgments.’ 

8) THEN the fourth angel poured out his bowl on the sun, and power was given to him to scorch men with fire. 9) And men were scorched with GREAT HEAT, and they blasphemed the name of God who has power over these plagues; and they did not repent and give Him glory.” – Revelation 16:7-8. 

These SEVEN LAST PLAGUES ARE EQUIVALENT TO THE DAY OF THE LORD! 

God’s living word shows us ──   

“Truly, these times of ignorance God overlooked, but NOW COMMANDS ALL MEN EVERYWHERE TO REPENT.” – Acts 17:30.

Weather disasters are a tool that the LORD God often uses to urge people everywhere to repent – see Haggai 2:17; Amos 4:7-12. Sadly, the overall majority of our peoples worldwide will not. Nor will most professing Christians, since many of them believe in their “Once Saved, Always Saved” doctrine. 

The LORD God directly explains to us how to resolve our changing climate ── 

“’ IF you walk in My statutes and keep My commandments, and perform them, then I will give you rain in its season, the land shall yield its produce, and the trees of the field their fruit. 

5) Your threshing shall last till the time of vintage, and the vintage shall last till the time of sowing; you shall eat your bread to the full, and dwell in your land safely. 6) I will give peace in the land, and you shall lie down, and none will make you afraid; I will rid the land of evil beasts [and, He’s not just speaking of animals, but evil humans as well], and the sword will not go through your land.’” – Leviticus 26:3-6. 

Are you PAYING ATTENTION TO THE LORD GOD’S WARNINGS? 

In Russia/Ukraine ── Russian President Vladimir Putin has continued invading and taking over territory that belongs to Ukraine. (See: Firstpost – Russia claims full control over Ukraine's Luhansk, annexed in 2022).

Luhansk was incorporated into Ukraine, but pro-Russian feelings remained strong among many residents.

Back in 2014, a pro-Russian rebel leader was sworn in as the head of a self-declared "people's republic" in eastern Ukraine, following elections condemned by the United Nations, the United States, the European Union, and Kyiv as illegal and destabilizing. (see: VOA – NATO, EU Press Russia on Ukraine).

There were military battles and skirmishes for years, with some pro-Russians in Luhansk calling for assistance from Russia. 

On 24 February 2022, Russia invaded Ukraine, just a few days after it recognized the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) and Luhansk People's Republic (LPR), citing Ukraine's non-implementation of the Minsk Accords, amongst other stated reasons. On 30 September 2022, Russia formally annexed the two regions, in addition to two others. As a result, the DPR and LPR dropped their independence claims, now considering themselves to be part of Russia. 1

God’s living word tells us of a soon-coming time when the “kings of the Medes” will gather together (Jeremiah 51:11, 28) ── and some now have. A great many in Russia, Ukraine, and even in Moldova have descended from the ancient Medes.

Here is the proof!            

Notice in Genesis 10:2, we have Madai as a son of Japheth. In Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance, the word is māday, translated Medes. 2 So, Madai was the father of the Medes. The Medes used to be associated with the Persians, and you will read about them in the likes of the Book of Daniel. But by the time of the Prophet Nehemiah, the Persians were more prominent. Today, there are no Medes left in Iran. They migrated. Throughout South Russia ── and in Ukraine ── four centuries before our Lord Jesus, the Medes were settling in the land known as Russia.

Here is what the historian Herodotus wrote concerning these people ── 

“ … The only men of whom I can hear who dwell beyond the Ister are those who are said to be called Sigynnai, and who use the Median fashion of dress. … The boundaries of this people extend, it is said, to the parts near the Enetoi, who live on the Adriatic; and people say that they are colonists from the Medes. In what way however these have come to be colonists from the Medes I am not able for my part to conceive, but everything is possible in the long course of ages.” 3 

Like most modern historians, Herodotus assumed that the people who inhabited Mesopotamia and the “Bible lands” must be the people who are there today. Yet, they are not. The Arabs have taken their place. 

More proof that the Medes are Russians today is further amplified for us by Gaius Plinius Secundus, the man we know as Pliny the Elder, who published the first known encyclopedia of NATURAL HISTORY, Book VI, §7, in which he writes ──

“Next come the two mouths of the river Tanais, where the inhabitants are the Sarmatae, said to be descended from the Medes, and themselves divided into a number of sections.” 4 

Notice the original territory of what he called Sarmatae.

“The territory inhabited by the Sarmatians, which was known as Sarmatia, to Greco-Roman ethnographers, covered the western part of greater Scythia, and corresponded to today's Central Ukraine, South-Eastern Ukraine, Southern Russia, the Russian Volga, and South-Ural regions, and to a smaller extent the northeastern Balkans and around Moldova.” 5

For nearly a decade, a great many in the Donbas region have been calling on Russia to defend them or annex them. Areas that were part of eastern Ukraine have now aligned with Russia.

End-time world events are continuing to align with properly understood biblical prophecies. □
