Earthquakes are in the news again. It has been reported here in the United States,
Yellowstone National Park has had 86,276 earthquakes between 2008 and 2022,
painting for researchers what’s going on beneath the surface. (See: The Weather
Network – Yellowstone is hiding more than 80,000 earthquakes below its surface).
Certainly, all those earthquakes point to an increasingly unstable subsurface.
In March, the nationally syndicated writer, media personality, and political activist,
Michael Snyder, posted the following ──

warning about for many years is now right on our doorstep” is, however, wrong.
A New Vent Has Opened At The Yellowstone Super volcano, And The Campi Flegrei Super volcano Could Erupt “At Any Moment”“Are two of the most dangerous volcanoes in the entire world starting to wake up? We live at a time when seismic activity is on the rise all over the planet. More than three dozen volcanoes have recently erupted, and there have been more than 850 earthquakes in California and Nevada within the past seven days. With over two million people living in the potential blast zone, the question is no longer if this sleeping giant will wake up, but when.The Campi Flegrei super volcano covers an area of 77 square miles, and one expert is publicly warning that it could potentially “erupt at any moment”…But you should, because a full-blown eruption could potentially trigger a “volcanic winter” which could cause a horrifying global famine…”
Also, in Russia ── a reported 8.8 magnitude earthquake! This looks to be the 6th
most powerful earthquake recorded. (See: Reuters - Huge quake in Russia triggers tsunami warnings around Pacific).
Indeed, our Lord Jesus Christ prophesied that there would be ‘earthquakes in various
places’ worldwide ──
“ … ‘ And there will be EARTHQUAKES in various places, …’” – Mark 13:8.
This earthquake is certainly consistent with that. As I’ve said in Sign of the Times
── Was our Lord Jesus speaking about earthquakes with a magnitude of less than
3.0 on the Richter scale? Or, was He speaking of massive earthquakes occurring
towards the end of this present evil age in various places around the globe? He is
talking about MASSIVE EARTHQUAKES THE LIKES OF WHICH THIS EARTH
HAS NOT EXPERIENCED BEFORE OCCURRING IN VARIOUS PLACES!
There is prophesied within God’s living word of a massive earthquake that has never
been recorded before ── and it will strike at the heart of Rome.
“And there were noises and thunderings and lightnings; and there was a great
earthquake, such a mighty and great earthquake as had not occurred since men were
on the earth. 19) Now the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell. And great Babylon was remembered before God, to give her the cup of
the wine of the fierceness of His wrath.” – Revelation 16:18-19.
Four of Italy's volcanoes have erupted in the last one hundred and fifty years:
- Mount Etna, on Sicily (continuous activity). It is the highest volcano in Europe west of the Caucasus. It last erupted in June 2025.
- Stromboli, one of the Aeolian Islands (continuous activity).
- Mount Vesuvius, near Naples (last erupted in 1944), is the only volcano to have recently erupted in Continental Europe.
- Vulcano, another of the Aeolian Islands, last erupted in 1888–1890.
Note that this prophesied massive earthquake will be so destructive that “the cities
of the nations” will fall. An earthquake so massive that it will cause volcanoes
worldwide to awaken. This will be the greatest earthquake to ever strike planet Earth
since mankind has been on it.
Sadly, most simply ignore natural calamities ── people don't normally care about
others’ problems unless it affects them personally ── and simply believe that
weather changes all the time and that the changes have nothing to do with God or
disobeying any law.
Our Savior, Jesus Christ, said ──
“’ But take heed to yourselves, lest your hearts be weighed down with carousing,
drunkenness, and cares of this life, and that Day [speaking of the terrible and
dreadful Day of the LORD] come on you unexpectedly. 35) For it will come as a
snare on all those who dwell on the face of the whole earth.
36) WATCH THEREFORE, AND PRAY ALWAYS that you may be counted worthy
to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of
Man.’” – Luke 21:34-36.
This is the time for the Church of God – the Body of Christ – to get our spiritual life
in order!
Are you doing this, brethren?
“Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be
ashamed, …” ── let us not be ashamed of any sins that we are committing that could
be found out. Let us OVERCOME! “ … rightly dividing the word of truth. 16) But
shun PROFANE and idle babblings, for they will increase to more ungodliness.” –
2 Timothy 2:15-16.
Let us, brethren, ‘rightly divide God’s living truth’!
Over in the Gaza Strip ── there are starving Israeli hostages and starving
Palestinians. (See: NBC News - Outcry in Israel as Hamas releases video of emaciated hostage alongside starving Palestinian children).
We, as human beings, should have compassion for all those who are in the Gaza Strip,
as well as the Israeli hostages. Our hearts and our prayers go out to them daily.
They are facing tribulations the likes of us here in the West have never faced ──
torture, starvation, and fear. The Palestinians are suffering greatly. But, their leaders,
the Islamic Resistance Movement and terrorist group that took control of the Gaza
Strip since 2007, Hamas … well… their soldiers eat very well after stealing the food
that is being supplied by Israel and the U.S. to the Palestinians.
Truly, what comes to mind seeing the terrible video of Evyatar David is that he looks
like a Holocaust victim (known in Hebrew as the Shoah), 1941-1945.
Hamas bears ultimate responsibility for the humanitarian crisis in Gaza. The
Palestinian people could end their plight tomorrow if they would only zip-tie their
radical Islamist leaders and end the “resistance” that has brought them nothing but
woe … 1
Those of Islam should heed their own words ──
“’ We feed you for Allah’s sake only; we seek of you neither recompense nor thanks: …” – the Koran 76:9.“ …’ Show kindness to your parents, to your kinsfolk, to orphans, and to the destitute. …” – the Koran 2:83.“ … Therefore pardon them and implore Allah to forgive them. Take counsel with them in the conduct of affairs; and when you are resolved, put your trust in Allah. …’” – The Koran 3:159.
The first part of that passage says, “’ It was thanks to Allah’s mercy that [Muhammad]
dealt so leniently with them …’” Yes. Is this the same leniency that the terrorist
Hamas gave to the Israeli’s on October 7th?
“’ True servants of the Merciful are those who walk humbly on the earth and say: ‘Peace!’ to the ignorant who accost them; …’” – The Koran 25:63.
Nearly all passages from the Koran are hateful & intolerant. Most of the
Muslims send their children to learn Quran at their tender ages. The hateful Quranic
verses taught to them remain in their conscience forever; and forever they consider
the human of other religions an object of hate, something that could be seen in most
Muslims. 2
Those who are faithful to their god, Allah, and Muhammad’s teachings of Islam are
not supposed to be starving their perceived enemies.
Our LORD God’s living word says the following concerning our enemies ──
“If your enemy is hungry, give him bread to eat; And if he is thirsty, give him water
to drink; 22) For so you will heap coals of fire on his head, And the LORD will
reward you.” – Proverbs 25:21-22.
“Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to wrath; for it is written:
‘Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,’ says the Lord. 20) Therefore ‘If your enemy is
hungry, feed him; If he is thirsty, give him a drink; For in so doing you will heap
coals of fire on his head.’
21) Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.’” – Romans 12:19
21.
And, our Lord Jesus Christ said to us ──
“’ You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your
enemy.’ 44) But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good
to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you.’” – Matthew 5:43-44.
Certainly, one way to assist those in the Middle East who are suffering is to ask God’s
divine protection for those who reverently fear and obey Him ── here are but a few passages.
“As for God, His Way is perfect; The word of the LORD is proven; He is the shield
to all who trust in Him.” – 2 Samuel 22:31.
“The angel of the LORD encamps all around those who fear Him, And delivers
them.” – Psalm 34:7.
“He shall cover you with His feathers, And under His wings you shall take refuge;
His truth shall be your shield and buckler.” – Psalm 91:4.
“The LORD shall preserve you from all evil; He shall preserve your soul. 8) The
LORD shall preserve your going out and your coming in From this time forth, and
even forevermore.” – Psalm 121:7-8.
“Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may
abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” – Romans 15:13.
“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with
thanksgiving, let your request be made known to God; 7) and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your heart and minds through Christ
Jesus.” – Philippians 4:6-7.
“Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving
of thanks be made for all men, …” ──
How should true Christians' love be expressed towards our enemy, Hamas? Are we to ask the LORD God's terrible justice and vengeance upon them?
Our Lord Jesus Christ is our foremost example of love towards our enemies. He was spat on, beaten, scourged, and crucified ── yet He prayed for His tormentors to be forgiven upon their repentance: “’ Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.’” Our beloved Apostle Stephen showed the same forgiveness (Acts 7:60), just before he was stoned to death.
The Apostle Paul ── under the inspiration of God Himself, our Lord Jesus Christ ── tells us to “ .. consider Him who endured such hostility from sinners against Himself, lest you become weary and discouraged in your souls 4) [in your struggle against sin] You have not yet resisted to bloodshed, striving against sin.” – Hebrews 12:3-4.
When we pray for our enemies, then, it should be in an attitude of forgiveness, asking the LORD God's will for them to be carried out with the same mercy we want for ourselves if we were in their shoes - see Matthew 7:12.
Sometimes the Lord God's mercy may include the destruction of one's enemies, as King David had asked for his. Such people will be resurrected and will be offered an opportunity to accept the glorious tree of Life ── the Holy Spirit ── and grow into His salvation free from the influence of Satan the Devil.
True love of God is a fruit of His Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23).
Certainly, let us pray that the Palestinians are freed from their “self-imposed deprivation” (Stop Blaming the Jews—Hamas Is Starving Our Brothers and Sisters in Gaza) 3
2) for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life
in all goodness and reverence. 3) For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God
our Savior, 4) who desires ALL MEN to be saved and to come to the knowledge of
the truth.” – 1 Timothy 2:1-4.
Yes. We should also, as human beings, have compassion for all those in other areas
of conflict and war. Such as the Russian/Ukrainian war, and in Sudan, Yemen, the
Congo, Nigeria, and Haiti. As well as the grave persecution that is occurring for the
Moslems in the Rohingya by the Tatmadaw (armed forces of Myanmar). The terrible
persecution in Tibet, with allegations of genocide and religious suppression. And
the ongoing human rights abuses against Uyghurs and other Turkic Moslem
minorities in Xinjiang, China.
Brethren, compassion is something that we must have, and we should also act upon
it ── when you have the capacity, capability, and finances to be able ── as works
of real faith.
Let us always pray for our Lord Jesus Christ’s kingdom to come soon (Matthew
6:10), so that sufferings for all mankind will end. □
