Aliens or No Aliens, That is the Question

After the former U.S. President Barack H. Obama said that he believes in aliens from outer space, President Donald Trump ordered the release of government files on the alien subject ──

“He gave classified information, he’s not supposed to be doing that,” Trump told reporters Feb. 19 in discussing Obama’s comments on aliens. … Adding Obama’s comments were a “big mistake.”

President Donald Trump accused Barack Obama of disclosing classified information in comments the former president made recently about aliens, then acknowledged hours later the “tremendous interest” in the topic and said he was ordering the government to release more information.

Podcast host Brian Tyler Cohen asked Obama if aliens are real in an interview published Feb. 14 and the former president replied: “They’re real, but I haven’t seen them.”

“They’re not being kept in… Area 51. There’s no underground facility unless there’s this enormous conspiracy and they hid it from the president of the United States,” Obama added.

The brief comment during a lightning round of questions quickly attracted attention and Obama later sought to clarify his remarks with a statement on social media.

“I was trying to stick with the spirit of the speed round, but since it’s gotten attention, let me clarify,” Obama wrote. “Statistically, the universe is so vast that the odds are good there’s life out there. But the distances between solar systems are so great that the chances we’ve been visited by aliens is low, and I saw no evidence during my presidency that extraterrestrials have made contact with us. Really!” …

Trump later wrote on social media that “based on the tremendous interest shown” he was directing the Department of Defense and other agencies to disclose government records on “alien and extraterrestrial life, unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP), and unidentified flying objects (UFOs), and any and all other information connected to these highly complex, but extremely interesting and important, matters.”

O’ I think Mr. Obama knew that it was going to get attention ── that was his whole point. But what about these “aliens from outer space”?

Nope—It’s Never Aliens

Claims of alien starships visiting Earth always fall short, but people still fall for them.

I grew up believing in UFOs.

I watched every TV show about aliens, spaceships and aliens in spaceships. I voraciously read magazines and books on the topic, credulously soaking up everything I saw and believing it wholeheartedly because, after all, if someone published a book saying these things are real, they must be real, right?

Right?

Over the years, though, I took up science as a career and critical thinking as a passion. It didn’t happen suddenly, but gradually, over time, I looked back at all the information I had taken in as a kid and realized it was overwhelmingly baloney. It was just scads and scads of nonsense: bad photography, sketchy witnesses, wild speculation and evidence-free claims.

That was more than 30 years ago. Sadly, nothing’s changed.

In this modern age, we don’t call them UFOs anymore but UAPs, for unidentified aerial (or anomalous) phenomena. …

One of the more recent blips on the extraterrestrial radar is a collection of videos declassified by the Department of Defense that contain what are purported to be UAPs—true by semantics, if not by implication. …

So, are these objects alien spacecraft? I would bet a lot of money—a lot—on “no.”

Mick West, a retired computer programmer and prominent UFO skeptic, has examined the videos very carefully and applied trigonometry and physics to what’s seen to find far more plausible explanations than interstellar visitors. For example, the object apparently moving against the wind in the GOFAST video is likely a balloon.

Well … I personally believe that many of these unidentifiable objects that people see or encounter are likely demonic in nature.

Millions of people around the world are convinced that there are “aliens from outer space.”

God’s living word tells us that a great many in the latter days would abandon their human logic and God-given intelligence to follow after the doctrines of demons ──

“Now the Spirit expressly says that in the latter times some [surely, a lot more than just some ── but rather millions] will depart from the faith [and certainly, not just our faith in our Lord Jesus Christ ── but, even faith in a Creator; see Luke 18:8], giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons.” – 1 Timothy 4:1.

The LORD God clearly teaches us that angels and demons have been upon the Earth since its very creation.

Now, you can make the argument that they could be called “extraterrestrials” or “aliens from outer space” ── what God calls demons “principalities, powers, rulers of the darkness, hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.” – Ephesians 6:12.

We should expect to witness a greater increase in demonic ‘paranormal’ activity.

Why?

Notice this prophecy from our beloved Prophet Paul ──

“Let no one deceive you by any means; …” – and that even means people who get into their own private interpretations of prophecy. Do not let them get inside your head and confuse you, deceive you, and mislead you. He said, “…unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, …” – this is talking about, I believe, a future religious leader from the homeland of Europe, practicing the historic religion of Europe, who claims – and notice… THIS IS THE ABOMINATION THAT MAKES DESOLATE! Verse 4 – “who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.” – and that is just an absolute outrage in the eyes of God! And this is what Daniel chapter 11, verse 36 is talking about!

“For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way.” – 2 Thessalonians 2:7.

Sadly, very few properly understand the “mystery of lawlessness” which was already at work in the first century. The “mystery of lawlessness” is related to – “Traditional Christianity,” professing Christians who believe that they DO NOT need to keep God’s Ten Commandments, and etc. – and so while they believe that they have a form of God’s Law, they are not keeping the religion that our Lord Jesus Christ nor His apostles would recognize as legitimate.

Now, I’ve heard many say that this is a restraint that is taking place until the restraint is removed. Verse 8 – “And then the lawless one will be revealed, …” – a description of an end-time false prophet (we cover this in our free no-obligation online booklet “Prophecy Series – End-Time Babylon”). Verse 9 – “The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders.” This is indeed a ‘hidden truth’ that Paul is revealing to us, which we need to take extremely seriously.

Deception doesn’t always have to be clever to work ── Joseph Goebbels famously stated, “If you tell a lie often enough, people will believe it, and you will even come to believe it yourself.”

Throughout human history, millions have been deceived by ‘signs and lying wonders’ involving ‘weeping’ statues or ‘apparitions’ of Jesus or Mary. As well as hundreds, if not thousands, of other demonic manifestations. And people believe that this is proof that it's real ── yet true Christians are told to “walk by faith, not by sight” – 2 Corinthians 5:7. Also notice what the Apostle John admonishes us to do ──

“Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; …” – 1 John 4:1.

A few years back, on YouTube, I saw a self-proclaimed female evangelist “speaking in tongues.” And she is fully engulfed in signs and lying wonders! In fact, this false doctrine permeates throughout the Protestant communities and their churches.

Satan the devil certainly has plans for ever-greater deceit, signs, and lying wonders ── which continue false gospels. Have You Heard the True Gospel?

God’s living word warns us ──

“But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed. 9) As we have said before, so now I say again, if anyone preaches ANY OTHER GOSPEL to you than what you have received, let him be accursed.” – Galatians 1:8-9.

Brother Paul ── inspired by God’s Spirit ── says that YES… there are actual false gospels that come from demons!

Certainly not all unexplained paranormal phenomenon is from someone’s imagination ── evil spirits and false messages are very much real.

There are unidentifiable objects (UFOs) that many people see ── this too is all part of Satan the devil’s plan.
