Catching up on World News in prophecy today ── in an article we posted, “Deadly Incident in Canada Involving a Transgender Shooter” ── a young man wearing a dress who referred to himself as “she” murdered ten people at Tumbler Ridge Secondary School in British Columbia, Canada (See: “Deadly Incident in Canada Involving a Transgender Shooter”). It’s most tragic. Our thoughts and prayers go out to all those gravely affected by this heinous and evil crime. We are continuing to witness evil and vile TERRORISTIC ACTS around the world by people who live a “lifestyle” regarding this transgender movement.
Also, in the news in Europe ── and as we reported on last week ── a great many in Europe are taking greater steps in becoming independent militarily from the Ununited States of America. We are seeing more calls for the EU to reorganize into what many are labeling a “United States of Europe” (See: “World News in Relation to Biblical Prophecy ── February 10, 2026”). According to the living word of our eternal God in His word, prophetically, Europe will eventually reorganize and give its power to a risen leader called by the Lord God, a “beast” – reference Revelation 17:12-13.
Additionally, in Europe, Europeans are busy negotiating trade deals with other nations around the world. They are currently working on deals with nations within the Middle East (See: Euro News - EU courts Gulf countries for free trade deal as Brussels seeks to counter tariffs).
Chancellor of Germany, Frederick Merz, went to the Middle East to work on a trade deal. As well as Latvia’s Prime Minister, Evika Silina, to push trade ties with the European Union.
As regular readers and listeners to the Church of Jesus Christ Online Ministries are aware, we have been issuing warnings, that even though we truly believe that President Donald Trump is a God-send for the United States of America and the world at large ── our beloved president, because of his “You’re not able to buy me or dissuade me” approach to governance, there will be unintended consequences. It is happening and is continuing to happen throughout the world.
There isn’t much known publicly regarding an intergovernmental organization that is called the Union for the Mediterranean (Arabic: الاتحاد من أجل المتوسط ). It consists of 43 member states from Europe and the Mediterranean Basin: the 27 EU member states and 16 Mediterranean partner countries from North Africa, Western Asia, and Southern Europe.
Consider, now, the following view of the maps showing the Union for the Mediterranean today and the Roman Empire in 117 AD. Notice that most of the lands north of the Mediterranean Sea are, or want to be, part of the European Union. And while the United Kingdom left the EU, consider that ancient Britain was certainly conquered by the old “Holy” Roman Empire──and just as before, the soon-coming Catholic-led European beast power will again (reference Daniel 8:24-25; 11:39). This final “king of the North” will be a Catholic-led European power unlike anything this world has ever witnessed! And there is soon-coming a final “king of the South” ── an Islamic-led confederation of nations in the Middle East and North Africa. A great many of the lands, per-Daniel 11:40-43, show us that many of the lands shall be conquered or subjugated by a soon-coming Catholic-led European “king of the North” beast power.
And, even before this──there will be “peace” deals made between the final “king of the North” and the final “king of the South.”
Notice this dual prophecy ──
“’ He [this final ‘king of the North’] shall stir up his power and his courage against the [final] king of the South with a great army. And the king of the South shall be stirred up to battle with a very great and mighty army; but he shall not stand, for they shall devise plans against him. … 27) Both these [final] kings’ hearts shall be bent on evil, and they shall speak lies at the same table; but it shall not prosper, for the end will still be AT THE APPOINTED TIME.’” – Daniel 11:25, 27.
Notice that these two final kings do make a deal together, speaking lies. Thus, whatever “agreement” they make together is not destined to be very permanent.
Notice the end-time prophecy of Psalm 83──yes, an end-time prophecy──of a soon-coming time when a confederation of Islamic nations forms in the Middle East and parts of North Africa, and they will very briefly align with a risen final Catholic-led European beast power.
“For they have consulted together with one consent; They form a confederacy against You: 6) The tents of Edom [the Turkish people] and the Ishmaelites [Saudi Arabia]; Moab and the Hagrites [modern-day Iraq]; 7) Gebal [Lebanon], Ammon [Jordan], and Amalek [Turks]; Philistia [Palestinians] with the inhabitants of Tyre [Lebanon]; 8) Assyria [Germany] has joined with them; They have helped the children of Lot [think Jordan]” – Psalm 83:5-8.
This end-time prophecy is talking about an alliance ── predominantly of Islamic nations ── briefly aligning themselves to fight against the Jews of Israel today, and the scattered descendants of the kingdom of Israel – the Anglo-Saxons and our British-descended nations. Assyria is referring to an end-time power in Germany and a “United States of Europe” – see Isaiah 10:5-11.
Now, while what many of the European nations are currently doing as far as trade deals──regarding the European Union and the Gulf States growing closer together trade-wise is not the end-time prophecy of Psalm 83:5-8, just the very fact that they are growing closer together is a prelude to the soon-coming complete fulfillment of God’s living word in prophecy.
As our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, has told us to do ──
“’ And what I say to you, I say to all: Watch!’” – Mark 13:37. □
