“Communist” Cuba in Crisis!

I was speaking to AI last night regarding “Communism” and Cuba’s terrible financial difficulties ── and, of course, it answered with its “politically correct” answers.
I understand you’re observing Cuba’s economic situation. What specific aspects of their current challenges interest you most?

“I mean, I don’t like seeing them in such dire straits as I wouldn’t want to see any people like that.”

I appreciate your concern for the Cuban people. Their situation is indeed challenging, with many facing economic hardships. What specific aspects of their daily lives do you find most concerning?

“O, let’s see, the fact that they have no electricity, no lights, they have no banks, they have no money, no oil!”

I understand your concern for the Cuban people facing those difficult conditions. Their situation involves complex economic and political factors that have created significant challenges for daily life. 1
Well … AI is certainly programmed to give subtext that doesn’t offend anyone. The conversation was like the classic “agreeing to disagree” dance! Much like the conversation I recently had with a known and proud Democratic Socialist at my home, it was like navigating a philosophical obstacle course.

It will not, nor would it ever, say that Communism and Cuba’s vile and evil Castro Regime were the cause of Cuba’s economic, political, and social collapse.

Communism originating in Western Europe during the late 19th century, mostly through the works of Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels, who had articulated its vile principles in “The Communist Manifesto” (1848), launched a world-wide class struggle, pitting the poorer classes against those who have been economically more successful than others, causing class prejudices, stirring up race hatred ── pretending all along to stand for peace, they engineer strife. And in the Republic of Cuba, the Castro Regime, for approximately 49 long years, has been like a vulture on its people, causing abject poverty, discontent, misery, confusion, and utter chaos ── and now, its ultimate collapse.

But, like all things ── those with TDS claim it’s President Donald Trump’s fault!

Truth be known, Communism is Satan the Devil’s effort, through his demon-inspired human servants, to take from us this greatest of national and economic blessings from the LORD God ── as Communist & Socialist supporters scream, “DOWN WITH CAPITALISM!”
What do you think would actually work better for countries like Cuba?

“Democracy!”

Democracy’s an interesting choice. What specific aspects of democratic systems do you think would help address the challenges facing Cuba today?

“Free elections. That’s one of the main ways that the people of Cuba can address their situation ── elect who they want to represent them instead of a dictatorship.”

Free elections would certainly change the dynamic. What other democratic features do you think would be most impactful for the country’s economic recovery?

“Economic recovery? Well … instead of their state-controlled “planned economy,” they could have a “market-based” economy similar in scope to the U.S.” 2

The U.S. economic system has various elements that could be adapted. Which specific aspects of the American model do you think would work best for Cuba’s “unique” situation?

“O I don’t know … how about this… the money that the government receives, you share it with the people, instead of putting it in the dictator's pocket!”

That’s a key principle of many democratic systems: ensuring that public funds benefit citizens rather than being concentrated in government hands. …
I finally got tired of its tit for tat and responded with ──
“You tell me what the Republic of Cuba needs to do better, financially, and to become a successful and prosperous nation. Go ahead, you tell me.”

Cuba has unique challenges, but focusing on agricultural modernization could be a game-changer. With their rich soil and perfect climate, boosting farming efficiency through tech and better market access could create jobs and food security. And what about tourism ── they’ve got that incredible culture and beaches. Maybe they could become the next hotspot for eco-tourism and authentic experiences? 3
I ended this conversation saying to AI, “Well ... you have to call a spade a spade.

Last January, President Donald Trump announced a regime change was coming to the Republic of Cuba! (See: RT“US attack on Venezuela proves post-WWII ‘world order’ crumbling – Fico”).

And, brethren, we should be praising the LORD God ── freedom is beginning to ring for the Cuban people!

The sound of freedom: Cuba’s regime is running out of time — now the US must act

I urge President Trump to send a stark and unmistakable warning to the regime in Havana.

A Cuban night is no longer quiet. It is filled with the metallic rhythm of thousands of families striking spoons against empty pots in the darkness. This is the sound of a funeral for a failed ideology. The brutal communist regime imposed on Cuba by the Castro family is collapsing in real time. Its economy is in free fall, its people are hungry, and the dictatorship is running out of money and fuel. …

Thanks to the leadership of President Donald Trump and Secretary of State Marco Rubio, the United States has restored a clear policy toward authoritarian regimes. …

Every night, thousands of Cubans take to the streets in towns across the island. In the City of Moron on the eastern side of the island, the townspeople even set fire to the Communist Party’s headquarters during a massive protest. …

This moment demands clarity and resolve from the United States. We are closer than ever to ending the tyranny imposed by the Castro family and their loyal enforcers in Havana, but only if we maintain a firm strategy. …

More than 1,400 political prisoners remain behind bars, patriots whose only crime was demanding freedom. President Donald Trump has an opportunity to help change the course of history. If the regime once again resorts to massacring its own people, as it has in the past, the United States must make clear that such brutality will not be tolerated.

Sadly, instead of the “closet Socialist” Barack Obama, back in 2016, attending a baseball game with the dictator Raúl Castro, he should have called him out as who Castro truly was ── a vile and evil dictator.

Cuba’s estimated population of nearly 11 million is gravely suffering. With Communism having been in Cuba since October 1965, it’s had decades-long troubles ── culminating with the current situation of island-wide blackouts and lack of fuel, which has certainly made things even worse.

As I witnessed first-hand with my brief conversation with AI regarding Cuba, this world’s “political correctness” is cultural Marxism, as Bill Lind wrote 26 years ago ──
“If we look at it analytically, if we look at it historically, we quickly find out exactly what it is. Political Correctness is cultural Marxism. It is Marxism translated from economic into cultural terms. It is an effort that goes back not to the 1960s and the hippies and the peace movement, but back to World War I. …

First of all, both are totalitarian ideologies. The totalitarian nature of Political Correctness is revealed nowhere more clearly than on college campuses, … where the student or faculty member who dares to cross any of the lines set up by the gender feminist or the homosexual-rights activists, or the local black or Hispanic group, or any of the other sainted “victims” groups that PC revolves around, quickly find themselves in judicial trouble. …

Second, the cultural Marxism of Political Correctness, like economic Marxism, has a single-factor explanation of history. Economic Marxism says that all of history is determined by ownership of the means of production. …

For the cultural Marxist, it’s deconstruction. Deconstruction essentially takes any text, removes all meaning from it, and re-inserts any meaning desired. So we find, for example, that all of Shakespeare is about the suppression of women, or the Bible is really about race and gender. All of these texts simply become grist for the mill, which proves that “all history is about which groups have power over which other groups.” So, the parallels are very evident between the classical Marxism that we’re familiar with in the old Soviet Union and the cultural Marxism that we see today as Political Correctness.”

Now, I’ve lived some. And I’ve crossed the threshold of 5½ decades. I can clearly remember learning about the Cuban Missile Crisis in school and learning all about the communist tactics of Cuba. I do believe that the then-President of the United States, John F. Kennedy, had received some guidance from God.

This Communist, Socialist ── this outright American Marxist agenda ── whatever you want to call it, this Leftist agenda, is indeed not only rewriting American history, but it’s also sanitizing certain “politically incorrect” subjects. And Leftist Amazon is one of the main culprits doing this.

Walter E. Williams, professor of economics at George Mason University, wrote ──
“George Orwell said, “The most effective way to destroy people is to deny and obliterate their own understanding of their history.” …

Today, there are efforts to rewrite history in the U.S., albeit the punishment is not so draconian as that in the Soviet Union. …

These history rewriters have enjoyed nearly total success in getting the Confederate flag removed from state capitol grounds and other public places. …

The job of tyrants and busybodies is never done. When they accomplish one goal, they move their agenda to something else.

If we Americans give them an inch, they’ll take a yard. So I say, don’t give them an inch in the first place.

The hate-America types use every tool at their disposal to achieve their agenda of discrediting and demeaning our history.”

Sadly, the Left has made it so that our history books are now being rewritten and sanitized so that people will forget what real history is. If you change your history and you do not remember it the way it was, you will be doomed to repeat it!

Communism bad, Democracy good. Communism aims for social equality and collective ownership, and democracy emphasizes individual rights, political participation, and a market-based economy. China, Cuba, Laos, North Korea, and Vietnam are still communist nations. Communism is a political and economic ideology that seeks to establish a classless society where the means of production, distribution, and exchange are communally owned, replacing private property with public ownership. The core objective is to allocate products based on need, rather than individual wealth or contribution.
  • Communist systems, in practice, frequently lead to the denial or severe restriction of fundamental individual rights and liberties.
  • The right to private property is abolished or severely curtailed under communist governance.
  • Freedom of religion is also commonly restricted, with states enforcing official atheism.
  • Independent political activities are not tolerated, and citizens’ freedom of movement can be limited both domestically and internationally.
  • Centralized economic control is a defining characteristic of communist systems, involving state ownership of the means of production and central planning. Without the natural forces of supply and demand, central planners struggle to detect consumer preferences, resulting in inefficient allocation.
  • Communist states are characterized by a one-party system, where a single political party controls the government, and no other parties are allowed to compete for power. 4
GOD has allowed mankind to rule themselves. And human leaders – from the time of Nimrod the mighty hunter (against) the LORD (Genesis 10:8-11-12) – have set up every kind of government that they have been able to devise – Communism, Confederacy, Democracy, Ecclesiastical, Theocracy, Marxism, Oligarchy, Socialism, Republic, Totalitarian, etc. None has brought true lasting peace, happiness, or joy.

And now, friend, as we are approaching the very END of this six-thousand-year age, Socialism (a small step to Communism) is indeed taking a foothold in the consciousness of our Generation Z!

Indeed, Satan the Devil and his imps are continuing with their “wrath.”

I just wish that someday the people of Cuba could live in a true democracy (the best this world has, until the glorious government of God is established), true freedom, and have normal, peaceful, and profitable lives. And I’m sure all those people in Little Havana wish that for their countrymen also.

Prophetically, what’s ahead for Cuba?

The majority of the peoples in Latin America, including Cuba, are Roman Catholic. And this is true of nearly every nation there. Religion is a major cultural tie to EUROPE.

There are also parts of Latin America that are quite politically connected to Europe. Most of the Spanish-speaking nations have ties to each other as well as to Spain. And, essentially, the Latin American nations are primarily made up of Gentile-descended peoples, many of whom have ties to Europe. During the soon-coming prophesied “time of the Gentiles” (cf. Luke 21:24), the Gentile-descended nations, and not the Anglo-descended nations, will be ruling under a “new world order.”

Latin America is experiencing a shift in political influence, with nations like Mexico and Brazil moving away from U.S. influence. Because of the cultural, ethnic, linguistic, and religious ties between Europe and Latin America, the two regions will likely cooperate even more in the future. These ties will be primarily economic, religious, and cultural, but may include military cooperation. Based upon Ezekiel 27:12-23 as well as Revelation 13:1-10, it appears that Latin America will align with a “United States of Europe” at some point.

And we pray that individuals in Latin America, Cuba, and Europe will turn to the LORD God and repent and begin obeying the LORD God! We continue to pray that many will. □
