At the top of the page in world news is the ongoing “ceasefire” in Iran (that is on LIFESUPPORT) between the US/Israel and the Islamic Regime of Iran. Yes, one unintended consequence of this badly-needed, and far overdue elimination of one of the most vile and evil regimes to form throughout mankind’s civilizations ── the Islamic Regime of Iran, which has outright murdered thousands upon thousands of people, including an estimated 20,000–36,500 deaths in the January 8–9, 2026 crackdown alone, calling it the deadliest two-day protest massacre in history! ── has been a disruption of fertilizer exports, which the Left-leaning Washington Post announces with an almost glee, that this war is threatening the global food supply ──

Now, let’s be logical here, and not irresponsible ── Africa’s long history of famine and drought is rooted in a combination of natural climatic patterns, limited infrastructure, and socio-political vulnerabilities. Africa’s susceptibility to famine and drought is not due to a single factor. It doesn’t take much to change the food systems’ dynamics in Africa – one small negative nudge can result in a severe crisis!
For a Left-leaning media outlet or even a church organization to proclaim that the “sky is falling!” just for increased viewership or membership is irresponsible and evil.
I’ve been proclaiming an important revelation from the LORD God ── Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ has prophesied that throughout this present evil age, there would be “ … ‘famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places.’” – Matthew 24:7; Revelation 6:5-8.
All of this takes place thousands of years before we get to verse 9 of Matthew 24. We have been, and are in “the beginning of sorrows,” also known as “birth pains.” But the end is not yet.
In a recent conversation with AI, I had this to say regarding famines ──

Those verses where Jesus warns about religious deception, false teachers, wars, rumors of wars, famines, troubles, and earthquakes in various places ── the whole ‘beginning of sorrows’ passage. What’s got you thinking about that particular passage?“The fact that all of that takes place for thousands of years before it gets to verse 9.”You’re thinking about the timeline ── that all those signs in verses 4-7, the religious deception, false teachers, wars, rumors of wars, famines, troubles, and earthquakes in various places, could be happening over millennia before we even get to verse 9, where it talks about persecution and being hated by all nations. That makes perfect sense when you think about it ── those early verses could span centuries or even thousands of years of human history before the more intense tribulation period kicks in.“You got it! Those thousands of years are what our Lord Jesus Christ called ‘the beginning of sorrows.’”
There are grave troubles worldwide ── one nation against another nation, one kingdom against another kingdom, and there have been famines (some of great proportions, i.e., Irish Potato Famine (1845-1849), Great Chinese Famine (1959 1961), Bengal Famine (1943), and there have been great pestilences, i.e., Black Death: 75-200M (1334-1353), 1918 flu: 50-100 million (1918-1920), COVID-19: 5-17 million (2020 – current), as well as earthquakes in various places, i.e., 1957 Aleutian Earthquake, 1960 Chilean Earthquake, and the 2011 Tōhoku Earthquake and Tsunami ── our Lord Jesus has told us ‘See that you are not troubled’ the end of the age is not yet. All these are but a foreshadowing of things to come!
And brethren, I proclaim to you today ── and this certainly will go against the grain of your traditional learning, but it’s with the authority of Jesus Christ ── the prophecies of the Book of Revelation are depicting a gradual build-up of these terrible events. Our glorious risen Lord Jesus opens the seals. The first four seals have been opened on that scroll and have been occurring since His ascension back to the upper heavenly realms to sit at the right-hand side of God the Father (Revelation 6:1-8). These four symbolic ‘horses and their riders’ will continue to gallop around the globe, with disasters getting worse and worse, until our Lord Jesus Christ returns, ‘He who sits on this white horse is called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war’! – Revelation 19:11-16.
Famines are to continue throughout the centuries until our Lord Jesus Christ returns. As Earth’s population increases by some 8.3 billion, droughts, wildfires, and the like increase; famines, too, get worse.

Finally, what the European Union is beginning to do is consistent with what the Trump/Pence Administration was doing ── having the immigrants not enter the United States of America but stay in Mexico.
According to God’s living word, prophetically, modern-day Europe will reach a breaking point and will crack in two. There are a great many Europeans who want change ── now. And, President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance are showing Europe that it doesn’t have to be “politically correct”!
A “United States of Europe” will one day support a final “strongman.” God’s living word calls this final civic and military leader of a United Europe ‘the beast’ that rises up out of the sea (Revelation 13:1-4), a seventh revival of the “Holy” Roman Empire. He is also called the final ‘king of the North’ (Daniel 11:40).
During various troubles arising during this prophesied ‘beginning of sorrows’ – Matthew 24:7-8; Mark 13:8. Notice what the Prophet Daniel was inspired to record for us regarding this; it’s a two-fold prophecy ──
“And after the league is made with him he shall act deceitfully, for he shall come up and become strong with a small number of people. 24) He shall enter peaceably, even into the richest places of the province; and he shall do what his fathers have not done, nor his forefathers: he shall disperse among them the plunder, spoil, and riches; and he shall devise his plans against the strongholds, but only for a time.” – Daniel 11:23 24.
As the king of the Seleucid Empire, Antiochus IV Epiphanes, did. He outlawed Jewish religious rites and traditions, as in ‘taking away the daily sacrifices.’ So, this final civic and military leader of a Catholic-led United Europe will do the same. He, too ── as had Antiochus IV ── will cultivate a reputation as an extravagant and generous ruler. Offering peace. In the beginning.
In troubling times, leaders often arise promising peace, restoring dignity, national greatness, returning to traditional values and cultures, the reestablishment of male dominance and women's submission, or even the withdrawal of a league of nations, and always blaming Jews, Moslems, and other people whom the Catholic clergy deem non-Christians ── to gain support. Concerning Antiochus IV ──
Raging like a wild animal, he set out from Egypt and took Jerusalem by storm. He ordered his soldiers to cut down without mercy those whom they met and to slay those who took refuge in their houses. There was a massacre of young and old, a killing of women and children, a slaughter of virgins and infants. In the space of three days, eighty thousand were lost, forty thousand meeting a violent death, and the same number being sold into slavery. ── 2 Maccabees 5:11–14 (NRSV).
A prophesied SEVENTH REVIVAL of a reorganized Catholic-led Europe is near, and a final strong leader is to emerge ──
“’ Here is the mind which has wisdom: The SEVEN HEADS are SEVEN MOUNTAINS on which the woman sits. … 12) The TEN HORNS which you saw are TEN KINGS who have received no kingdom as yet, but they receive authority for one hour as kings with the beast. 13) THESE are of one mind, and they will give their power and authority to the beast.’” – Revelation 17:9, 12-13.
A final “United States of Europe” that will be ‘given a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies’ – who will also be known as a final ‘king of the North’ that will ‘honor a god of fortresses’, a god that his fathers did not know. A god of fortresses, meaning possibly high-tech and advanced military armaments and technologies. The Roman Catholic Church will be his mouthpiece, speaking pompously and blaspheming against the God of gods!
This soon rising strongman will not be the politically weakened current President of the European Commission. □
