U.S. President Unveils the ‘Golden Dome’ Missile Shield

China Reacts to Trump's 'Golden Dome' Missile Shield

China said it is “gravely concerned” by U.S. President Donald Trump‘s proposed “Golden Dome” anti-missile defense system and urged him to abandon the project.

Why It Matters 

American military leaders have consistently warned that nations like China and Russia are developing advanced missile technologies that outpace existing U.S. defenses. Golden Dome is intended to close that gap. 

What To Know

“This highly offensive system violates the principle of peaceful use of outer space,” said Mao Ning, a spokeswoman for the Chinese Foreign Ministry, at a press briefing on Wednesday morning.   

“It will exacerbate the risk of turning outer space into a battlefield and starting an arms race, and shake the international security and arms control system.”

Trump’s Golden Dome Fulfills Reagan’s ‘Star Wars’ 

Trump has unveiled his administration’s preferred concept for the Golden Dome program—a sprawling $175-billion initiative that will mark the first time the U.S. deploys weapons in space.  

Speaking from the Oval Office, Trump said he expects the system to be “fully operational before the end of my term,” which ends in 2029, and claimed it would be capable of intercepting missiles “even if they are launched from space.”

I recall President Ronald Reagan proposing this thing in 1983 ── the Strategic Defense Initiative (SDI), dubbed the Star Wars Program! I was 14 years old, and I loved the idea then - as I do now! PEACE THROUGH STRENGTH.

However, will this shield prevent World War III? 

Sadly, no. 

In truth, God’s living word prophesies that the United States of America will eventually be “neutralized” ── or rather, subjugated by a foreign power. Notice these two-fold prophecies ──

“’ Thus he [a final Catholic European civic and military leader; what God’s word calls the final ‘king of the North’] shall act against the strongest fortresses with a foreign god, which he shall acknowledge, and advance its glory; and he shall cause them to RULE OVER MANY, and divide the land for gain.’” – Daniel 11:39. 

“’ Woe to Assyria [modern-day Germany and parts of the EU], the rod of My anger And the staff in whose hand is My indignation. 6) I will send him against an ungodly nation, And against the people of My wrath I will give him charge, TO SEIZE THE SPOIL, TO TAKE THE PREY, AND TO TREAD THEM DOWN LIKE THE MIRE OF THE STREETS. 

7) Yet he does not mean so; But it is in his heart to destroy, And cut off not a few nations.

8) For he says, ‘Are not princes altogether kings? 9) … Is not Samaria like Damascus? … 11) As I have done to Samaria and her idols, Shall I not do also to Jerusalem and her idols?’” – Isaiah 10: 5-7, 8, 11. 

Of course, there is great logic behind this initiative. It’s extremely important to be a nation that is on the cutting edge of technology in an ever-growing evil world! Yet, other nations are desiring the same type of protective technology. Notice ──

Kremlin blasts potential EU deployment of French nuclear bombers 

The French president floated the idea during a TV appearance on Tuesday, comparing it to the United States’s nuclear umbrella policy that guarantees Washington would reciprocate if its allies come under nuclear attack.

“We are ready to open this discussion. I will define the framework in a very specific way in the weeks and months to come.”

Germany wants nuclear bombers 

Germany’s armed forces are currently studying the possibility of acquiring nuclear bombers capable of using the new American B61-12 atomic bombs. 

Meanwhile, the Pentagon itself plans to deploy these new atomic bombs in the German region of Eifel, in violation of the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty.

The German air force already has multi-tasking Tornado warplanes, which are already capable of deploying American atomic bombs. But those aircraft are going to be replaced, possibly, by European-developed Eurofighters, or by United States-manufactured F/A-18 Super Hornets. … 

Germany does not manufacture atomic weapons but has come to consider itself a nuclear power because it can use them.

In fact, a report from 2024 from the International Institute of Strategic Studies (IISS) reported, “The return of long-range US missiles to Europe. Amid Putin’s war in Ukraine and following Russian violations of arms-control measures, Washington and Berlin recently agreed to send American long-range missiles to Germany. Other European NATO allies are now seeking to acquire their own.” Nuclear bombers are aircraft loaded with nuclear missiles. The ‘Golden Dome’ is a proposed multi-layer defensive system in the United States, intended to counter the threat of ballistic, hypersonic, and cruise missiles posed to the mainland.

Certainly, our Lord Jesus Christ had told His first-century disciples, as well as us today in this 21st-century present evil age, “’ And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.’” – Matthew 24:6. (Be sure to watch our sermon, “Where Are We Headed?”) ── yet, the French, the Germans, and others in Europe have access to nuclear weapons and other even more advanced technologies (i.e. the Large Hadron Collider), which will, as we get ever-closer to ‘the end of this present age’ lead to the subjugation of the United States of America and her Anglo-Saxon allies. 

Back in January, and quite possibly even before then, I had written ── 

There is coming a time when the Europeans (possibly under the guise of pretending a NATO military exercise within North America) will launch a blitzkrieg attack against the United States of America in fulfillment of biblical prophecies. …

How America’s Reasons For Entering World War I Resonate Today

One hundred years ago today, the United States officially declared war on Germany and entered World War I. Days before the declaration of war, President Woodrow Wilson urged a special joint session of Congress to “formally accept the status of belligerent which has thus been thrust upon it.”

Wilson had not wanted to do this. Indeed, he’d won reelection the previous fall as the antiwar candidate, running on the popular slogans “He kept us out of war” and “America First”—appeals to voters who wanted to stay out of a major European war and avoid a simmering conflict with Mexico.

But two events would change everything, and force Americans to accept that they could no longer avoid what had become a global conflict. The first was Germany’s resumption of unrestricted submarine warfare on passenger and merchant ships. The second was the “Zimmerman telegraph,” which revealed Germany’s attempt to forge a secret alliance with Mexico against the United States, promising to help Mexico recover territory it had ceded to the United States following the Mexican American War in 1848.

Both of these developments, like much of World War I, seem exotic and unimaginable today. A major military power attacking passenger ships with submarines? Mexico invading Texas? It’s easy to think we’ll never face such scenarios again, and we probably won’t face those particular scenarios. But as distant and strange as the First World War seems to us today, the reasons Wilson changed course and declared war hold vital relevance to our national life in the twenty-first century, and we ignore or misunderstand those reasons to our peril.

The U.S. is still offering to send U.S. troops to Mexico to help Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum combat drug trafficking. If Mexico is unwilling or unable to get a grasp on this horrific scourge, will the U.S. be sending our troops across the border into Mexico to “take care of business”? 

Let us always keep in mind… and I’m sure the Leftist Democrats in America are… our beloved President Donald Trump won’t be in office forever. A weakened United States (as we certainly were in our last four years) could be ripe for a nuclear Europe (under the guise of a NATO exercise) to deploy a blitzkrieg attack upon our electrical infrastructure by way of an electromagnetic pulse (EMP)? While there are other ways to defeat a weakened United States, the point is that even the Iron Dome, a similar system, is not 100% effective. (Be sure to read our article, “Nuclear ── Greatest Threat”). 

God’s living word – the Holy Bible – shows us that a final United States of Europe will become a military powerhouse! cf. ── 

“And I saw one of his heads as if it had been mortally wounded, and his deadly wound was healed. And all the world marveled and followed the beast. 4) So they worshiped the dragon who gave authority to the beast; and they worshiped the beast, saying, ‘Who is like the beast? Who is able to make war with him?’” – Revelation 13:3-4. 

In vision, the Apostle John describes this final beast power having SEVEN HEADS AND TEN HORNS! ──  

“Then I stood on the sand of the sea [the sea here represents a great multitude of peoples, nations, and languages along the Mediterranean Sea; see Revelation 17:15]. And I saw a beast rising up out of the sea, having SEVEN HEADS AND TEN HORNS, …” – Revelation 13:1.

So, the sea that he references is the Mediterranean Sea ── see Daniel 7:2-3; Numbers 34:6-7; Joshua 1:4; 9:1; 23:4; Ezekiel 47:13-16. 

This massive “beast” power will come from a final Catholic United States of Europe.

The Europeans ── because of the world conditions happening in this 21st century, i.e., many of the policies of Donald Trump, the Russia/Ukraine three long year war, the future of the transatlantic relationship, hybrid attacks across the continent, immigration concerns, and the question of how to approach a potential ceasefire in Ukraine  ── are growing closer to a final reunification.

The Prophet Daniel ── under divine inspiration ── in night visions, speaks of an end-time Europe in which its ‘feet will be partly of iron and partly of clay’ – yet, it will be united enough that the ‘whole world will come to marvel’ because of his great power, his throne, and his great authority!

Again, the words of our LORD God ── 

“’ I will scatter you among the nations, and draw out a sword after you; your land shall be desolate and your cities waste.’” – Leviticus 26:33.  

Like the opening lines of the movie Armageddon, “It happened before. It will happen again. It's just a question of when.” 

Nuclear, as well as the previously mentioned electromagnetic pulse (EMP) weapons, are certainly ways to cause the land to become desolate and modern cities to be laid waste.

Sadly, some are lulled into a false belief that Europe (our “allies”) would NEVER attack the United States of America or our Anglo-Saxon allies. Those who believe this don’t know their history or biblical prophecy.

Note:

World War I ── Germany started World War I on August 1, 1914, when Germany declared war on Russia. It then moved against France, capturing Paris from the north. The war began after the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria in 1914. 

World War II ── technically, began in Europe on September 1, 1939, when Germany invaded Poland. Great Britain and France responded by declaring war on Germany on September 3.

Events to occur towards the end of this present evil age that resemble an all-out nuclear (or even partial nuclear) confrontation are part of God’s prophesied curses against a godless nation ──  

“’ The whole land is brimstone, salt, and burning; it is not sown, nor does it bear, nor does any grass grow there, like the overthrow of Sodom and Gomorrah, Admah, and Zeboiim, which the LORD overthrew in His anger and His wrath.’” – Deuteronomy 29:23.

“Through the wrath of the LORD of hosts The land is burned up, And the people shall be as fuel for the fire; No man shall spare his brother. 20) And he shall snatch on the right hand And be hungry; He shall devour on the left hand And not be satisfied; Every man shall eat the flesh of his own arm. 21) Manasseh shall devour Ephraim, and Ephraim Manasseh; Together they shall be against Judah.” – Isaiah 9:19-21. 

Now, of course, asteroids striking the Earth could cause “brimstone, salt, and burning” along with grave devastation such as raging fires, desolation, and cities laid waste. Interestingly, Scientists Uncover Ancient Salt Deposits on Asteroid Ryugu. 

Let us, friends, be of this mind ── 

“’ Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man.’” – Luke 21:36. 

Let us also continually pray, ‘Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven.’ – Matthew 6:9, 10. □
