The Significance of Israel’s Bombing of Damascus in Prophecy

Israel bombs Damascus, stoking a flame of conflict with Syria’s new government ── 

DAMASCUS, Syria — Israel on Wednesday launched what it said were “dozens” of strikes across Syria, including in the capital, escalating a conflict with a fledgling government that was already grappling with domestic unrest in which scores of people have been killed.

The Trump administration, which has pursued warmer relations with Syria following the toppling last year of dictator Bashar al-Assad, including by easing sanctions, said it was trying to calm tensions. Secretary of State Marco Rubio, speaking at the White House on Wednesday, blamed the violence on a “misunderstanding” between Israel and Syria stemming from the sectarian conflict in Syria’s south.

Western diplomats were within metres of Israeli strikes in Damascus, sources say

DAMASCUS, July 17 (Reuters) - Western diplomats were passing near Syria's defence ministry in Damascus in an armoured convoy when Israel struck the building with several missiles on Wednesday, according to two people familiar with the matter, including a Syrian eyewitness. …

Israel says its strikes were part of an effort to protect the Druze minority in southern Syria, an assertion rejected by Syria's president, who said Israel aimed to undermine the new government's efforts to bring the country together.

Netanyahu: No Syrian forces are to head south of Damascus, which is an area that must be demilitarized

A day after ordering extensive Israeli attacks on Syrian government and military assets, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says that Israel will continue to use military means to enforce its two red lines in Syria. 

“We have set a clear policy,” he says in a video statement, “demilitarizing the area south of Damascus, from the Golan Heights to the Druze mountains, is one [red] line. The second line [is] protecting the brothers of our brothers, the Druze in the Druze mountains.”

“We will not allow military forces to descend south of Damascus, we will not allow the Druze to be harmed in Jebel Druze,” says Netanyahu.

And, of course, Syria is angry about this. Will this further motivate the new regime of Syria to cooperate with Iran against Israel, which is consistent with Isaiah 22:6-10? 

Yes, this will lead to a major regional war ── as we’ve been warning about in such articles, audio articles, and videos as “’ Blow the Trumpet!’” of which we just translated into Spanish.

Also, what is occurring could be a prelude to the prophecy of Isaiah 17:1. 

God’s living word WARNS that utter destruction is coming to Damascus, Syria!

“thus says the Lord GOD: ‘It shall not stand, Nor shall it come to pass. 8) For the head of Syria is Damascus, …’” – Isaiah 7:7, 8.

“The BURDEN AGAINST DAMASCUS. ‘Behold, Damascus will cease from being a city, And it will be a ruinous heap.

2) The cities of Aroer are forsaken; They will be for flocks Which lie down, and no one will make them afraid. 3) The fortress also will cease from Ephraim, The kingdom of Damascus, And the remnant of Syria; They will be as the glory of the children of Israel,’ Says the LORD of hosts.” – Isaiah 17:1-3.

“Against Damascus. 

‘Hamath and Arpad are shamed, For they have heard bad news. They are fainthearted; There is trouble on the sea; It cannot be quiet. 

24) Damascus has grown feeble; She turns to flee, And fear has seized her. Anguish and sorrows have taken her like a woman in labor. 25) Why is the city of praise [Also known as: Dimashq, Pearl of the East] not deserted, the city of My joy? 

26) Therefore her young men shall fall in her streets, And all the men of war shall be cut off in that day,’ says the LORD of hosts. 

27) ‘I will kindle a fire in the wall of Damascus, And it shall consume the palaces of Ben-Hadad.’” – Jeremiah 49:23-27.

Ben-Hadad means “son of Hadad.” So, since Ben-Hadad is a title, much like Pharaoh or President, this term can refer to different individuals at different times. Here, at the time of the Prophet Jeremiah’s mentioning of this important prophecy, none of the Ben-Hadad’s were alive. This reference could certainly be referring to the new Syrian President Ahmad al-Sharaa.

DAMASCUS …. According to Britannica, “Although Damascus is well-known to be an ancient city, it remains unclear exactly when the oasis was first settled. Excavations in 1950 demonstrated that an urban center existed in the 4th millennium BCE at Tall al-Ṣālḥiyyah, southeast of Damascus. Pottery from the 3rd millennium BCE has been discovered in the Old City, and mention of “Damaski” was found in a clay tablet at Ebla (present-day Tall Mardīkh) dating to the same period. The first certain written reference to the city is in the hieroglyphic tablets of Tell el-Amarna in Egypt, where it is listed among territories conquered by Thutmose III in 1490 BCE. In the 1st millennium BCE, Damascus became the capital of an Aramaean principality whose history is known mainly through biblical references and Assyrian records.” 1

The reality is ── Damascus has NEVER been completely destroyed to the point of ‘a ruinous heap’ since the LORD God inspired the Prophet Isaiah thousands of years ago.

Why the ambiguity? 

Mostly because Isaiah 17:1 is not totally clear about the period. In this case, Damascus could be utterly destroyed as early as within several months from now. And, if its destruction is tied in with the dual prophecy in Daniel 11:40-43, then it could easily happen within a year. And I say a year because… On November 6th, 2016, while I lay in bed at night, I had a dream, and behold ── I was looking up at the clearest night sky I had ever seen, filled with crystal-clear, bright, shining stars. I watched the stars glisten until I heard a loud, booming voice. It appeared to be the end of a conversation. The voice spoke, “They only have 10 years left.” Whether this has any connection to Daniel 11:40-43, I do not know for certain. But it will come, whether four years from now or only one. We are getting ever-closer to the utter destruction of Damascus.

And, I’m not trying to scare anyone; as our Lord Jesus Christ has told us, ‘See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, …’ However, immediately after that statement, He speaks of what we believe to be a prophecy concerning Daniel 11:40-43, ‘For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. …’ Speaking of the end-time GREAT TROUBLES! The worst period in the history of mankind! ‘the great tribulation’! Israel, Syria, and Iran could easily begin soon the ultimate fulfillment of Isaiah 22:6-10. 

One day soon, the lion of Iran will inflict great damage to Israel ── before or after Israel turns Damascus into ‘a ruinous heap.’

We should expect to witness a major regional war in the Middle East. □

EU Commissioner President Ursula von der Leyen survived the “no-confidence” vote, but now she and Europe are facing some major issues.

The American self-taught economic forecaster and convicted felon, Martin Armstrong, posted the following ──

The EU Guarantees Its Own Destruction 

Ursula von der Leyen may be the absolute worst head of state in modern history. She has single-handedly ensured the collapse of the European Union according to our computer. She destroyed the EU economy with her NET-ZERO policies, destroying farmers and sending food prices rising. She then imposed dictatorial policies demanding migrants be taken in despite the drastic changes in culture, and then has put out the BS that to protect free speech, they must censor disinformation, to ensure peace in Euirope {sic} they need to go to war with Russia, and while she advocates total sensorship {sic} far worse than whatever existed in the USSR or even Communist China, yet refuses to release her own text messages with Pfizer. 

While Ursula, who has never stood for election, pretends to be an elected democratic leader, calling Putin a dictator who at least stood for election, survived the NO CONFIDENCE vote to the detriment of Europe. The mere fact that this came to a vote demonstrates what our computer has been forecasting. The EU will fragment because of the dictatorial policies of Ursula. She is the perfect leader installed at the precise time that our computer warns that the EU will never survive.

“According to our computer”? Well… neither he nor his computer appears to rely, nor understand, God’s living word concerning biblical prophecies ── particularly related to EUROPE.

Certainly, while there will be problems in Europe (cf. Daniel 2:41-43; Matthew 24:6-8), an even more united Europe will actually emerge after Ursula von der Leyen is out of office. 

One of the policies that she has been promoting strongly is an even stronger European military.

  

Now, while some may think that the European Union will collapse, God’s living word says otherwise ──

“Then I stood on the sand of the sea [speaking of the Mediterranean Sea]. And I saw a beast rising up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and on his horns TEN CROWNS, and on his heads a blasphemous name. 

2) Now the beast which I saw was like a leopard, his feet were like the feet of a bear, and his mouth like the mouth of a lion. The DRAGON gave him his power, his throne, and great authority. 3) And I saw on his heads as if it had been mortally wounded, and his deadly wound was healed. And all the world marveled and followed the beast.

4) So they worshiped the dragon who gave authority to the beast; and they worshiped the beast, saying, ‘Who is like the beast? Who is able to make war with him?’” – Revelation 13:1-4.

Again, the “sea” that the Apostle John is referencing above is “the Great Sea” – Daniel 7:2; The Mediterranean Sea. The “Great Sea” that is a border of the ancient lands of Israel (see: Numbers 34:6-7; Joshua 1:4; 9:1; 23:4; and Ezekiel 47:13-16)— speaking of the Mediterranean Sea.

Truly, this great vision of Revelation 13 that the Apostle John had on the isle of Patmos is referring to a reorganized and militarized European superpower. 

Now, God’s living word doesn’t show if Europe will keep the name “European Union” or will change it to “United States of Europe” or something else ── yet, God’s word does show us that Europe will reorganize and will have a final European civic and military leader that the LORD calls a “beast” ──

“’ The TEN HORNS which you saw are TEN KINGS [or, ten kingdoms; as the LORD God sees kingdoms] who have received no kingdom yet, but they receive authority for one hour as kings with the beast. 13) These are of one mind, and they will give their power and authority TO THE BEAST.’” – Revelation 17:12-13.

A final European “beast” civic and military leader ── who is also known as a final “king of the North” who will ultimately destroy the United States of America’s sovereignty, along with her Anglo-Saxon allies (see: Daniel 8:24-25 and Daniel 11:24). He will also come to conquer large swaths of the Middle East, along with North Africa (see: Daniel 11:40-43).  

Also, of important note: God’s living word teaches that a United States of Europe,  with the voice of the papacy, will expand to the south and the east. Notice this “little horn” ──   

Daniel chapter 8, verse 9 – we see this ‘little horn’ that represents the papacy – this great religious leader, especially in the end-time – the resurrection of the “Holy” Roman Empire. “…a little horn which grew exceedingly great toward the south, toward the east, and toward the Glorious Land [or the Holy Land]. 10) and it grew up to the host of Heaven; and it cast down some of the host and some of the stars to the ground, and trampled them. 11) He even exalted himself as high as the Prince of the host; and by him the daily sacrifices were taken away, and the place of his sanctuary was cast down.”        

Basically, Israel at the present time is a secular society. But apparently, I have to presume that something will shock that nation, probably some form of attack from her Arab and Islamic neighbors, that will cause the Jewish people of Israel to go back to their roots, and they will reinstitute animal sacrifices. And then, when this human being who calls himself the ‘Vicar of Christ,’ the so-called great “holy” man that actually dares call himself “Holy Father” – a man who puts on his pants just like you and I, and sits on the toilet several times every day. And yet, he will call and say that he’s this great “holy” man! He is going to stop the sacrifices. We find out later that he sits in the “temple” and proclaims that he is God! And that is the ‘abomination that makes desolate.’ 

And indeed, while the above had a past fulfillment. In the days of Antiochus IV Epiphanes, who is the example of a final ‘king of the North’ to come. Without any doubt, centered in Europe. This man, of course, Antiochus IV Epiphanes, who did some remarkable deeds, the like of which have no parallel in history since. Did those deeds between the years 167 and 164 B.C. This awesome prophecy has a future fulfillment also! The European Union has mainly expanded south and east of the Benelux nations: Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg, which is where it initially was formed. Now, as of January 2024, approximately 449 million people are under a single (though not completely in its unity) government, called the EUROPEAN UNION, which is headquartered in Brussels, Belgium – even though they are not completely united. Ukraine is mainly east of much of the EU. It is geographically, at least partly, of being a part of the EU. And Moldova and Georgia are south and east, which is also consistent. 

Also note this parallel biblical end-time prophecy ──

“’ Whereas you saw the feet and toes, partly of potter’s clay and partly of iron, the kingdom shall be divided; yet the strength of the iron shall be in it, just as you saw the iron mixed with ceramic clay. 42) And as the toes of the feet were partly of iron and partly of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong and partly fragile. 43) As you saw iron mixed with ceramic clay, they will mingle with the seed of men; but they will not adhere to one another, just as iron does not mix with clay.’” – Daniel 2:41-43.

Truly, a lack of cohesion. We are seeing this right now in the EU! It’s being fulfilled in this dual prophecy, and will feed right into a seventh and final European “king” with his mouthpiece, the papacy. What is occurring in Europe at this moment in time is that those “toes” are beginning to be pushed together-and they will be pushed even harder together as we near the end of this present evil age. It will be ultimately destroyed as the following verse tells us ──

“’ And in the days of these kings [these TEN KINGDOMS, as the LORD God sees kingdoms] the God of heaven will set up A KINGDOM which shall never be destroyed; and the kingdom shall not be left to other people; IT SHALL BREAK IN PIECES AND CONSUME ALL THESE KINGDOMS, AND IT SHALL STAND FOREVER.’” – vs. 44. 

Also notice that this final European “beast” and these “kings” will fight against our soon-coming King of kings and Lord of lords, or Lord Jesus Christ and His saints ── 

“Now I saw heaven [the atmosphere] opened, and behold, a WHITE HORSE And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges, AND MAKES WAR. …

13) He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called THE WORD OF GOD. … 

19) And I saw the beast, the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together TO MAKE WAR AGAINST HIM WHO SAT ON THE HORSE AGAINST HIS ARMY. 20) Then the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet [the head of the papacy] who worked signs in his presence, by which he deceived those who received THE MARK OF THE BEAST and those who worshiped his image. 

These two were CAST ALIVE into the lake of fire burning with brimstone. 21) And the rest were killed with the sword which proceeded from the mouth of Him who sat on the horse. And all the birds [the birds of prey] were filled with their flesh.” – Revelation 19:11, 13, 19-21. 

So, no. Europe will not completely collapse.

We will continue to see EUROPE move towards her end-time biblical prophecy fulfillment. 

And while we should expect the EU to have economic issues along with other problems, do not rely on self-taught economic forecasters and their computers, who claim Europe will soon have a total collapse before the end of this age.

Let us always rely on the living WORD OF GOD! □

Five Areas of Biblical Prophecy

Good Morning, Brethren. There are, basically, five areas that God’s living word focuses on in prophecy ── five basic areas that we read about in Scripture. And our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ admonishes us to WATCH what is happening throughout the world, so that we are not caught unprepared.

Now, what was it that He had in mind? Just what are we to ‘watch’? Of course, He’s not talking about watching the NASCAR Cup 2025 Series. It’s not that it’s wrong to do so ── but that’s not at all what our Lord Jesus had in mind. That is not what He was admonishing us to ‘Watch’ for.

God’s living word focuses on certain areas in the world ── pivotal areas. And it is the axis of evil that is in these areas that are about to climax as we get closer to the end of this present evil age. Bible prophecy primarily focuses on the Middle East, which is the focal point, as far as a geographical location.

Bible prophecy also focuses on events and internal strife, decay, and tribulations, along with economic difficulties concerning the United States of America and our Anglo-Saxon allies around the world. So, the second major focus is the grave internal tribulations of the United States of America and the United Kingdom and its Commonwealth Nations.

Bible prophecy also focuses on Europe and a resurrected “Holy” Roman Empire in the latter days, that is to be resurrected in Europe through a revitalized Roman Catholic Church with great influence ── which would be the fourth area. A “United States of Europe” – or whatever name they will be calling themselves – is the third area. God’s living word talks to us about certain events that will transpire within a revitalized Roman Catholic Church that will hasten events in a united Europe. 

So, these events ── and it’s like I’ve said before ── war often leads to famine, and famine to pestilences. So, one is a catalyst for another. The grave economic problems of the United States of America, that President Donald Trump is working on, hence DOGE ── sadly, he won’t be president but for four years ── along with internal growing division within the U.S.A. and the U.K. are setting the stage for the position we will find ourselves in when the ‘beginning of sorrows’ comes to completion. That comes, so that certain other things happen that are prophesied to occur. This great crisis that is occurring in the Middle East is serving as a catalyst for events to occur in Europe, as well as influence the things that the (much more popular now) Roman Catholic Church is coming into a position to do. 

So, the Roman Catholic Church is not only a part of the fourth area, but she is also the fifth. Also, God’s living word focuses on events that will transpire in the Church that our Lord Jesus Christ built ── the work of God in this end-time.

With the egregious and horrific events that are happening in the Middle East, we should indeed focus on these key areas. Let’s focus in on some of these areas. Both what our LORD God (the Elohim, the family of God, which at this time consists of God the Father and our Lord Jesus Christ) prophesied ── what is going to happen ── as well as certain things that are occurring now.

Our Lord and Savior said to watch and pray. WE ARE NOT IN DARKNESS, that that Day ── called the “Day of the Lord”, the climax at the end of this present evil age ── should overcome us like a thief in the night. Because the events that will occur, and the events that are even happening now ── to the majority, it is like a thief coming to them in the night, because they do not know what all this chaos will ultimately lead to. As the Apostle Paul states back in his letter to the Thessalonians, For you yourselves are fully aware that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night. The Day of the Lord is going to catch those of this world by surprise. They will not be expecting it. 

We, brethren, are not in darkness. We live in the Light. We ought to know; we ought to understand. We ought to be able to appreciate the things that are going to occur. And, we need to focus on certain things, understand certain things, and know why these certain things are happening.

Let’s focus first and foremost on the United States of America and the United Kingdom and her Commonwealth Nations ── who are, for all intents and purposes, ISRAEL in the LORD God’s sense of the term. The nation in the Middle East calling itself Israel is more properly called JUDAH, and this is the way that the LORD God refers to it in the Old Testament ── because these are people who are inhabitants of the modern-day nation calling itself Israel. They are Jews, the House of Judah. Also, in addition to the House of Judah, there is the House of Israel ── and particularly the descendants of both Ephraim and Manasseh. 

You might remember, that Jacob had crossed his hands as he laid his hands upon the heads of Ephraim and Manasseh, the sons of Joseph, and said, “Bless the lads; Let my name be named upon them, …” – Genesis 48:16. Recall, his name had been changed by God to Israel ── so the name of Israel along with the House of Israel primarily refers to Ephraim and his descendants, and Manasseh and his descendants in Bible prophecy.

Notice the Book of Jeremiah. Jeremiah 1:16, the very words of the LORD, “’ I will utter My judgments Against them concerning all their wickedness, Because they have forsaken Me, Burned incense to other gods, And worshiped the works of their own hands.’”        

Now, brethren, that is the LORD’s indictment about our peoples ── including the nation in the Middle East called Israel. Understand that this idol doesn’t necessarily mean one that has been carved out of gold or silver, or wood ── such as a fat, glaring Buddha with candles around the effigy. What are some of the things of the works of our hands? Automobiles, televisions, politics, and celebrities. We are nations that produce material, or we produce a person who has achieved fame, and we turn around and worship “the works of our hands”! And, if you don’t think that there are people who actually worship celebrities ── I give you, Celebrity Worship Syndrome. And, it is just as real as Trump Derangement Syndrome.

The Western nations, in particular, have become nations of materialism ── a god of our peoples. And Brethren, our people's attitudes, thoughts, and the very sins that our people have followed will inherently help lead to the impending day of “darkness, and not light.” – cf. Amos 5:20. Because, when you boil it down, the LORD God has two specific commandments that deal with the subject of property. The one commandment, “’ You shall not steal.’” And the other is, “’ You shall not covet …’” We are not to steal or covet anything that does not rightly belong to us. 

All nations in this world have violated these two spiritual LAWS.

Our nation is still facing ── right now ── a 37 TRILLION DOLLAR DEBT! And growing! The U.S. national debt has increased to $36.2 trillion since January 20, 2025. In 1970, the U.S. national debt was $371 billion. It has rapidly increased! And, it’s on that upward projection where it’s about ready to blow out the top! And, that’s where you have collapse ── the whole thing is about to collapse under its own weight. 

Why are we faced with this terrible issue? A large part of it is excessive governmental debt, and part of it is private debt. Private debt has been increasing even greater than public debt. Truly, a serious violation of God’s Commandment ── “’ You shall not covet.’” That’s truly what our economy is based upon. Covetousness. The old saying, “You know you deserve it. You’ve been working so hard.” Certainly, in our Facebook News feed, ── advertisements for what their algorithms believe your heart desires. “Look! You see this? Isn’t it nice? Isn’t it more convenient? This is what you ought to have!” And, it doesn’t matter that you really can’t afford it – You deserve it! And you ought to have it anyway. So, we bring these penalties upon ourselves. Human nature.

Notice chapter two of the Book of Jeremiah ── Jeremiah 2:3 ── “’ Israel was holiness to the LORD, The FIRSTFRUITS of His increase. All that devour him will offend’ Disaster will come upon them,’ says the LORD.”   

HEAR YOU THE WORD OF THE ETERNAL, O HOUSE OF JACOB ── and all the descendants of the House of Israel!

Verse 5 – “Thus says the LORD: ‘What injustice have your fathers found in Me, That they have gone far from Me, Have followed idols, And have become IDOLATERS?’” 

Verse 7 – “’ I brought you into a bountiful country, …’” 

And you can certainly think of the Lewis & Clark Expedition of 1804.

“ … ‘To eat its fruit and its goodness. But when you entered, you defiled My land And made My heritage an abomination.’”  

Think on this ── Unmitigated Western expansion of the colonists, alongside rapid technological developments and the emergence of powerful market forces, led the buffalo close to extinction by the end of the 19th century. The largest decimation of an animal in modern history! 

The LORD God said, “What have I done? I brought you into a most gorgeous and beautiful land!” Look around at what the LORD God has blessed our people to inherit ── the United States of America, Canada, Australia, New Zealand ── some of the richest in minerals this world has, the breadbasket of the world, of bounty and abundance the likes of which the world has ever seen! And, what have we done? What has our approach been? What has our attitude been? The LORD God has said, “’ You defiled My land And made My heritage an abomination.’”

The LORD God’s intention was for the House of Israel to be the FIRSTFRUITS. Indeed, the LORD God had called Israel for a specific purpose ── and that was to be a light unto the Gentiles. Well, the nations of Israel has been a light (a light that is dimming every century) ── that’s certainly why some illegal immigrants dangerously traveled hundreds, if not thousands of miles, to enter the United States when our nation had a wide open border. The LORD God had blessed the nations of Israel. And Israel, the LORD God says, has defiled the blessings provided. They have defiled the land. And look around at the land, the cities, the plight, the utter pollution ── with many U.S. cities looking like a Third-World country! The LORD God says that we have defiled His land ── this land that the LORD God has blessed us to have.

Verse 11 ── “’ Has a nation changed its gods, Which are not gods? But My people have changed their Glory For what does not profit.’” Have you noticed that nations that worship idols are continuing to worship the same idols? Take, for example, Burundi. An estimated 75% of Burundians are “Christian,” with 81.5% of these “Christians” (61.1% of the total population) being Roman Catholics. A land that has had nothing ── and continues to have nothing. Ranked the second poorest country in the world in 2013 and 2014, it fell to the poorest in 2015 and has remained there ever since. Their religion is not helping them. The god they worship, they continue to cling to. What about Arabs? Will they be giving up Allah anytime soon? What about the Orientals with their Buddhism? What about Indians and Hinduism? Yes, you know they cling to their innumerable gods and goddesses!

Again, “’ Has a nation changed its gods, Which are not gods? But My people have changed their Glory For what does not profit.’” “They have exchanged what I gave them for what does not profit them.”

The LORD God Focusing On SEVEN Problems 

Beginning in about verse 13, we see that there are about SEVEN PROBLEMS that the LORD God singles out ──

Verse 13 ── “’ For My people have committed two evils: They have forsaken Me, the fountain of living waters, And hewn themselves cisterns ──broken cisterns that can hold no water.’”     

What is the “fountain of living waters” of which He speaks? Our Lord Jesus Christ defines it ── it’s in the Book of John. Speaking to the woman of Samaria at the well of Jacob, He says to her, “’ If you knew the gift of God, and who it is who says to you, ‘Give Me a drink,’ you would have asked Him, and He would have given you living water.’” Because, He continues, “ …’ whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life.’” – John 4:10-14. It’s His Spirit ── the Spirit of God flowing through us like a fountain of living water. Indeed, as the LORD God says, “’ I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life.’” – Deuteronomy 30:19. The LORD God is the source of all life. And, sadly, the overall majority of our peoples worldwide have turned their backs on Life ── on the LORD God, the source of all life ── the very “fountain of living waters.”

• This was one of the first primary divergences that led to other terrible things.

And if that wasn’t bad enough ── they not only turned their backs from the TRUE GOD, from serving and obeying the LORD God, but they turned to other gods, which are not gods; and to other religions. And they have hewn them out like cisterns that hold no water. 

You know, in our front yard we have a huge cistern about three feet tall! It holds no water ── it has a hole in the bottom. But a cistern with no hole in the bottom, of course, holds water. The LORD God refers to false religions as a broken cistern that holds no water. They are not going to contain any of the LORD God’s Spirit! 

So, what are we better off with? 

A fountain of living waters, or a broken cistern? So the very idea of exchanging a fountain of living water for a broken cistern is certainly a bad swap. And, our peoples have not received a good and unbroken cistern. They have not received cisterns that hold water. They’ve gotten broken cisterns. And water that does enter quickly drains out. 

So, our nation has rejected the glorious fountain of living waters ── in other words, they have rejected the LORD God! They have chosen instead broken cisterns. 

• Second, we as a nation have gone after false gods and false religions where there is no profit.

Verse 19 ── “’ Your own wickedness will correct you, And your backsliding will rebuke you. …’” The problems ── the ultimate problems we as a nation encounter, are the things that we bring upon ourselves. It’s certainly not that the LORD God looks down upon the Earth at all the peoples, gets angry, and lets us have it. We bring our problems upon ourselves.

Verse 21 ── “’ Yet I planted you a noble vine, a seed of highest quality. How then have you turned before Me Into the degenerate plant of an alien vine?’”    

Verse 23 ── “’ How can you say, ‘I am not polluted, I have not gone after the Baals’? See your way in the valley; Know what you have done: You are a swift dromedary breaking lose in her ways.’”

In other words, you are a swift Arabian camel racing full speed across a desert wasteland toward a false god and a false religion. This is the analogy that the LORD is giving here.

Verse 26 ── “’ As the thief is ashamed when he is found out, So is the house of Israel ashamed; They and their kings [presidents, prime ministers, and kings] and their princes, and their priests and their prophets.’” 

There is a time coming when the leaders of our Western nations will be truly ashamed of what they have been doing ── and what they will do very soon.

Turning a page to chapter 4 of the Book of Jeremiah, beginning in verse 1 ── “’ If you will RETURN, O ISRAEL,’ says the LORD, ‘Return to Me; And if you will put away your abominations out of My sight, Then you shall not be moved.’”  

And, this is a two-fold WARNING. Was the prophet Jeremiah out of his mind? No, God had inspired him with a dream or a vision–or whatever it was–to write this about a future captivity of the house of Israel and the house of Judah. Now, at the time of this writing, the Northern Kingdom of Israel, over 91 years ago, had gone into captivity by the Assyrians (721 BC)! How are they going to go back into captivity? He’s talking about the future remnants of the house of Israel and the remnants of the house of Judah. 

And this future captivity can indeed be the loss of our sovereignty. The LORD God is saying, “IF you return to Me, and put away your sins, I will save you from losing your sovereignty!”

You see, brethren, we as the descendants of the House of Israel have turned away from the true God, and we have sought after false gods, goddesses, and false religions, and we have refused to return. We’re not nations that are truly seeking after the Word of God, the Truth of God, and the ultimate Plan of God!

The LORD God is saying, You are not a nation that seeks after the truth. We have set our mind ── our stubborn and stiff-necked head ── in refusing to listen to God’s truth. And we don’t want to know better. And we truly don’t want to do better as a nation, as a people. 

As a nation, we certainly like to play lip service, “O’, we know God. We believe in God, we believe in Jesus Christ!” Oh yes, we as a nation believe in God. It says so on our money! “IN GOD WE TRUST.” You know, our money used to also say, “Redeemable In Gold On Demand.” By 1934, all gold and gold certificates had to be surrendered to the United States Department of the Treasury. Now, we just crank up the printing press and continue printing money backed by no gold! Have we heard whether President Donald Trump and Musk witnessed gold in Fort Knox?   

Truly, we are soon going to find out that the LORD God is going to remove the protective blessings from our nations, and we will no longer be protected from our sins. 

• The LORD God indicts our nations, thirdly, because of a lack of seeking the Word of God, the Truth of God, and the Plan of God. 

Notice the fourth, here in Jeremiah 5:7 ── “’ How shall I pardon you for this? Your children have forsaken Me And sworn by those that are not gods. When I had fed them to the full, Then they committed adultery [spiritual adultery] And assembled themselves by troops in the harlots’ houses.” 

In fact, the nations of Israel are lining up to get in! Truly, immorality is rampant in this nation ── a nation that has designated June PRIDE MONTH! And we, as a nation, are not ashamed! Our immorality is literally permeating this nation. And, the LORD God is comparing us to Sodom & Gomorrah! We’ve got individuals marching in parades dressed as transsexual Catholic nuns! I’m telling you ── there is nothing gay about any of it! There are people around this present evil age living a vile, lewd, wretched, perverted life! Because, there is a god of this age that is transmitting waves of vile and evil signals of the “works of the flesh” ── of adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissentions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like. The LORD God’s solution can be found in Genesis chapter 19.

Truly, this is one way that the LORD God deals with vile sin ── as far as a society is concerned. 

Verse 8 ── “’ They were like well-fed lusty stallions; Every one neighed after his neighbor’s wife.’” 

And brethren, if you don’t think that characterizes the modern-day nations of Israel ── the United States of America, the United Kingdom, and her Commonwealth Nations ── then you might have your head buried in the sand. Adultery, fornication, wife-swapping, wife-sharing, etc., is a way of life for a great many people in the modern-day nations of Israel. This is one of the reasons ── one of the reasons that the LORD God lists why people will be destroyed, why they suffer what they are suffering.

The LORD also says, Verse 9 ── “’ Shall I not punish them for these things?’ says the LORD. ‘And shall I not avenge Myself on such a nation as this?’”  

Verse 10 ── “’ Go up on her walls and destroy, But do not make a complete end. Take away her branches, For they are not the LORD’s. 11) For the HOUSE OF ISRAEL and the HOUSE OF JUDAH Have dealt very treacherously with Me,’ says the LORD.” 

If you try and tell your neighbors or your unconverted family members about the modern-day nations of Israel, they will likely tell you to get bent! “O’, you’re out of your mind! You’re taking Scripture out of context! We’re the strongest and greatest nation on Earth! Destruction? Famine? Loss of sovereignty? That’s utterly ridiculous. We as a nation will NEVER fall!” Truly, we’ve never been invaded successfully by a foreign nation ── foreign troops setting foot on our soil in a war, since the War of 1812, the Revolutionary War of 1812. 

And then you look at the United Kingdom ── Britain. You know that Britain has not been invaded by foreign troops setting foot on their soil in a war, since- well, actually, invasions of the British Isles have occurred several times throughout their history. In more modern times, it was 1215 during the First Barons' War. Over 810 years ago! That was when the first French troops arrived in November 1215, with 240 knights and a similar number of infantry following in January 1216. The French took several castles in Southern England, including Winchester in June, Chichester and Reigate Castles, and began a major siege of Dover Castle.

So, for over 810 years, foreign troops have not set foot on British soil! Can you say that about Russia? Can you say that about France? Can you say that about Germany? What about Spain? What about China? Japan? So, look at the lands of the modern day nations of Israel ── the United States of America, the United Kingdom ── Australia, New Zealand, Canada, and Britain ── point out to me another nation that has not had foreign troops on its soil, that has not had war fought on its territory, and that has not been invaded by a foreign military in our modern world.

Why? 

God’s Hedge Around Israel & Judah   

The LORD God tells us why throughout God’s living word, i.e., Isaiah 5:2 ── “ … My Well-beloved has a vineyard On a very fruitful hill. 2) He dug it up and cleared out its stones, And planted it with the choicest vine. He built a tower in its midst, And also made a winepress in it; So He expected it to bring forth good grapes, But it brought forth wild grapes.” The LORD God says of Israel & Judah, You are the sheep of My pasture! What He means is, “’ I am the door,’” “’ I am the way.’” He’s talking about being the Good Shepherd. No wild animals ── no Satan the Devil can get through ── as an example: The D-Day Invasion of Normandy was a PURE MIRACLE! “While careful planning, demonstrations of collective and individual bravery, and, in many cases, the ultimate human sacrifice contributed to the operation, much of its success came down to the weather.” ── A TRUE MIRACLE FROM GOD! 

In the Book of Isaiah, the LORD God says that this hedge will soon be removed from around Israel & Judah.

Verse 5 ── “’ And now, please let Me tell you what I will do to My vineyard: I will take away its hedge, and it shall be burned; And break down its wall, and it shall be trampled down.’”  

Truly, that’s why our nations ── and our nations alone ── have not been invaded. That’s why we have not seen foreign troops on our soil in war. That’s why, because of the hedge that the LORD God has placed around the modern-day nations of Israel. Yet, we haven’t truly given the LORD God credit for it. They claim, “O’ God is with us!”

Verse 15 of Jeremiah 5 ── “’ Behold, I will bring a nation against you from afar, O house of Israel,’ says the LORD. ‘It is a mighty nation, It is an ancient nation, A nation whose language you do not know, Nor can you understand what they say. 16) Their quiver is like an open tomb; They are all mighty men.’”

  

You know ── and I believe this is based on the fact that ancient Germans were Assyrians ── the word GERMAN in Latin is Germanus. First attested in the writings of Julius Caesar, who used Germani to designate a group of tribes in northeastern Gaul. Perhaps originally the name of an individual tribe, (Celtic) origins,  but it has been proposed, from words perhaps originally meaning “noisy.” 1 

So, the LORD God is saying, “I’m going to bring upon you a mighty people, a mighty nation, because of your grave immoralities.”

Notice chapter 6 and verse 6 ── “For thus has the LORD of hosts said: ‘Cut down trees, And build a mound against Jerusalem. This is the city to be punished. She is full of oppression in her midst. 7) As a fountain wells up with water, So she wells up with her WICKEDNESS. VIOLENCE and PLUNDERING are heard in her. Before Me continually are grief and wounds.”

Here in the United States of America, look at the oppression, look at the VIOLENCE, look at the corruption and political chicanery, the double-dealing, that besets this nation and all the other modern-day nations of Israel ── including Judah.

The LORD God certainly has plenty of reasons why the hedge is going to be removed. We, as nations, are filled with violence, wickedness, and evil.

Verse 13 ── “’ Because from the least of them even to the greatest of them, Everyone is given to covetousness; And from the prophet even to the priest, Everyone deals falsely. 14) They have also healed the hurt of My people slightly, Saying, ‘Peace, peace!’ WHEN THERE IS NO PEACE. 15) Were they ashamed when they had committed abomination? NO! They were not at all ashamed; Nor did they know how to blush. THEREFORE they shall fall among those who fall; At the time I punish them, They shall be cast down,’ says the LORD.”  

The LORD God is indicting our Western nations, not only for our immoralities, not only for our utter violence, wickedness, and evil, but also for our COVETOUSNESS. Let’s get back to this mountain of debt! $37.014 TRILLION! Wouldn’t you say that this is a nation filled with covetousness? A government with grave overspending. You cannot run a nation very long this way. It’s not only a matter that the LORD God will eventually remove the hedge ── but a nation with this massive amount of debt will eventually fall under its own weight!

As an example, President Donald Trump wanted peace ── when there was no peace. You cannot reason with a cheetah! They cannot be domesticated. They are a predator. They may appear friendly and cuddly ── they are not friendly to humans. And, unfortunately, President Donald Trump gave this predator 60 days. And, as Sky News reminds us, “If nuclear facilities at Isfahan, Natanz and Fordow were “obliterated” as Donald Trump has claimed, or even crippled, it would certainly halt Iran's ability to enrich the uranium needed to make a viable nuclear weapon. But that's not the same as preventing Iran's ability to make a nuclear bomb. … But unlike the industrial processes needed to enrich uranium, these later steps can be carried out in laboratory-sized facilities. Easier to pack up and move, and easier to hide from prying eyes. Given that it's understood Iran already moved enriched uranium out of Fordow ahead of the US strike, …” 2

Let us not forget that China had sent at least three Boeing 747 cargo planes to Iran ── were they secretly flying out their enriched uranium? 

 

Now we come to the seventh problem, the seventh abomination, that the modern-day nations of Israel are committing ── 

Verse 17 ── “’ Also, I set watchmen over you, saying, ‘Listen to the sound of the trumpet!’ But they said, ‘We will not listen.’”  

 

O’, how far we are in our abominations unto the LORD God, dear brethren, in this 21st century! Our nations have certainly turned away from the true God, and we, as nations, have turned to false religions. You can certainly say that we are nations that do not seek after the truth ── the living truth of God. We are a people who want our own way ── nations that no longer respect authority. Nations that are consumed with grave immoralities, violence, and covetousness, and nations that are refusing to even listen to the warning sound of the trumpet!

Turning a few pages, notice chapter 7 ──

Verse 8 ── “’ Behold, you trust in lying words that cannot profit. 9) Will you steal, murder, commit adultery, swear falsely, burn incense to Baal, and walk after other gods whom you do not know, 10) and then come and stand before Me in this house which is called by My name [falsely labeled], and say, ‘We are delivered to do all these abominations’?” 

It's like last night I watched President Trump’s speech to the nation, and at the end of the speech he said, “I want to just say, we love you, God, and we love our great military. Protect them. God bless the Middle East. God bless Israel, and God bless America.” And that is all good and great, but the religions among us ── including what is passed as “Christianity” ── they say, “O’ the Law of God is done away. You don’t have to obey God. Certainly, God will understand.” As they say, “Love who you wanna love.” Waving their hands about and dispensing grace like it’s going out of style! It is the LORD God who dispenses grace. God is a God of mercy, but God extends blessings and mercy to whomever He will have mercy, and compassion on whomever He will have compassion. There are times that the LORD God does extend mercy to those who may not even deserve it ── but it’s for the LORD God’s own pleasure (Romans 9:15-16).

Now, the LORD God also indicts and says unmistakably what will happen if we, as nations, do not repent of our abominations ──

Let’s turn to Leviticus chapter 26 ── 

Verse 14 ── “’ But IF you do not obey Me, and do not observe all these commandments, 15) and if you despise My statutes, or if your soul abhors My judgments, so that you do not perform all My commandments, but break My covenant, 16) I also will do this to you: I WILL EVEN APPOINT TERROR OVER YOU, wasting disease and fever which shall consume the eyes and cause sorrow of heart. …”   

Verse 17 ── “’ I will set My face against you, and you shall be defeated by your enemies. Those who hate you shall reign over you, and you shall flee when no one pursues you.’” 

Verse 19 ── “’ I WILL BREAK THE PRIDE OF YOUR POWER; …’” 

The LORD God is telling us that the pride of our power is breaking! There is a report in The Nation, June 3rd, 2025, entitled, “President Trump Is Demolishing America’s Global Soft Power.” I’d like to read a few excerpts because if you want to see a continuing fulfillment of Leviticus 26:19, here it is ── 

“Harvard professor Joseph Nye, put it: “Seduction is always more effective than coercion. And many of our values, such as democracy, human rights, and individual opportunity, are deeply seductive.” He first coined the term in 1990, just as the Cold War was ending, writing that “when one country gets other countries to want what it wants,” that “might be called co-optive or soft power, in contrast with the hard or command power of ordering others to do what it wants. …

[O]ne thing seems clear enough: Donald Trump’s sharp cuts to this country’s humanitarian aid will ensure that its soft power crumbles, doing lasting damage to its international standing.”

Truly, on August 6th, 1945, officially, the United States wielded authority as the world’s first atomic and technological superpower! No longer. Today, nine countries have nuclear weapons!

And, we used to think that this nation was a free-enterprising country, but we are quickly becoming a Third-World Nation ── as Britain is also becoming. We are following the same course as they are. They rose to greatness first, and they are losing it first. We are following our Big Brother’s footsteps right along into a deep ditch! 

What is our problem, as I see it? Our problem is a lack of patriotism and pride for our nation ── and this has a lot to do with our massive melting pot. It’s true what the LORD God says, “’ I will break the pride of your power.’” It’s not that all power has been removed from us, but rather the PRIDE OF AMERICA HERSELF! We are a nation that has lost that. We truly don’t look to the LORD God. We are heading into dangerous waters. 

The LORD God unequivocally tells us what is going to transpire, what is going to happen.

Looking about us ── throughout the world ── the events that are transpiring throughout the Western nations, these prophecies are continuing to be fulfilled. We surely can see ourselves, as a nation, rapidly closing in on the condition that the LORD God describes as coming upon us. We are headed toward an impending collapse under our own weight ── look at Los Angeles, the civil disorder, the domestic terrorism, the fact that the LORD God has said, “’ The alien [the illegal alien] who is among you shall rise higher and higher above you, and you shall come down lower and lower.’” – Deuteronomy 28:43.

As of March 2025, FAIR estimates that approximately 18.6 million illegal aliens reside in the United States. … the illegal alien population in the United States has grown by 4.1 million, or 28.2 percent, reflecting an unprecedented wave of illegal immigration during the Biden administration. 3

The anti-Americans, the civil disorders, the home-grown terrorism, the factor of different faiths, racial and ethnic groups being incited with anti-Semitism and hatred toward America and Israel ── our modern-day nations of Israel contain many animosities that God’s living word in prophecy speaks about, and there is. These GRAVE PROBLEMS ARE HERE IN SPADES!

Our Western nation has not repented; they have not turned back to the LORD God! We, as a nation, are guilty of all these things that the LORD God says will be a punishment upon us. 

TODAY ── the whole world is focused on the Middle East. The world’s nightmare is in Iran.

Of course, China is warning: “If the Middle East is unstable, the world will not be at peace.” The dictator Saddam Hussein was keeping Iraq stable in the region ── when he and his Iraq-based Ba'ath Party were removed, it destabilized Iraq. Well, like it or not, Iran was a stabilizing factor in the Middle East ── under the last Shah of Iran.

Iran went with a very strict, hardline Moslem group ── the Iranian Revolution of 1979. Even then, instability of the Middle East had set in ── as with the vacuum that occurred in Iraq, well, Syria provides hard lessons on what’s at stake.     

There is a crisis in the Middle East!

God’s living word, in the Book of Hosea, says in this two-fold prophecy that “’ When Ephraim saw his sickness, And JUDAH saw his wound, Then Ephraim went to Assyria …’” – Hosea 5:13. Ephraim – modern-day Britain, is to go to GERMANY. Interestingly enough, Britain and Germany have signed a defense agreement to boost European security amid rising Russian aggression.

The European €euro is continuing to make a move as a reserve-currency alternative to the US $dollar. The euro has the second-largest weighting among global foreign exchange reserves, accounting for 20% of the total, compared with the dollar’s 58%. The dollar’s dominance has often been explained by the acronym TINA: There is no alternative. … For the euro to achieve greater prominence and enjoy what former French president Valéry Giscard d’Estaing, as finance minister, called the “exorbitant privilege” of reserve-currency status, Lagarde highlighted the improvements necessary. First, Europe must prove itself a powerful and reliable ally. … Lastly, Lagarde promoted strong institutions as the ultimate guarantors of investor confidence. …

These advantages, though, demand one final reform of Europe to drive home these advantages. “A single veto must no longer be allowed to stand in the way of the collective interests of the other 26 member states,” she wrote. Removing this obstacle to decision making would perhaps, she said, enable the E.U. to seize its “global euro moment.” 4 

Let’s never lose sight of the fact that the final “beast” power will be an economic powerhouse that will rise from a United States of Europe. It will be a massive trading combine.

Now ── something to certainly think about, take the crisis that is currently happening in the Middle East. Israel, the tiny nation in the Middle East, was pushed to the point of war for survival. The Arab nations are going to discover that they can make the Western nations intervene on their behalf. And, it’s oil that is at the forefront ── it always seems to be oil. Will a final confederation of Islamic nations push at the final king of the North by cutting off its oil? Is this what will transpire? Cutting off oil, trying to force a final United States of Europe to force Israel to their terms? Certainly something to think about. 

Because, at this time, the United States of America will be in such a condition internally that we will have collapsed under the weight of our own massive debt. And when this happens, Europe will have to pick up the pieces. We are going to collapse!

This nation is going to continue to be divided ── ethically, morally, and politically. This nation will literally tear itself apart. And as the United States of America is writhing internally ── as we are even now ── the Roman Catholic Church will step into the vacuum. And, as I reported on a few days ago, “Young people are converting to Catholicism en masse.” The new Roman Catholic Church statistics reveal a growing Catholic population. And this MOTHER OF HARLOTS will quickly move into the Middle East like lightning.

Q: Now that Israel, the tiny nation in the Middle East, is wounded, will the Arab Moslem nations go on to, in effect, continue with their hands on the jugular of Israel? If so, Israel will certainly continue to need help. And they will invite Europe to send in a “peacekeeping” force to stabilize the region. Europe will move its military forces into Israel.

Brethren, notice these Arab League Countries ── we’re told in Daniel chapter 11 ── 

Verse 40 ── “’ At the time of the end the king of the South shall attack him; …’”        

Certainly, Saudi Arabia is the nation that will be in that position. It’s home to the largest oil reserve ── estimated at over 260 billion barrels. Before Operation Rising Lion, Iran was still supplying crude oil to 17 countries, including some in Europe, despite global sanctions. China began purchasing large quantities of Iranian oil, with shipments reaching 1.3 million barrels per day in 2023. 5

Since the United States and Europe imposed broad prohibitions on the purchases of Iran’s oil, China has become practically the sole buyer of Iran’s oil exports. 6

Understand, this final king of the South ── which will surely be led by Saudi Arabia (a very deeply religious nation) ── it will be deeply religiously motivated convictions which will lead to the end-time king of the South’s attack. They are devout Moslems. And they do not hesitate to use oil as a weapon. 

Verse 40 ── “ … ‘the king of the South shall attack him; and the king of the North shall come against him like a whirlwind, …’”  

Literally, like a blitzkrieg attack. They will be attacking swiftly ── “ … ‘with chariots, horsemen, and with many ships; and he shall enter the countries, overwhelm them, and pass through. 41) He shall also enter the Glorious Land, and many countries shall be overthrown; but these [initially] shall escape from his hand: Edom, Moab, and the prominent people of Ammon.’”

So, the area of TURKEY, JORDAN, IRAQ, SYRIA ── they will pass over them initially. They will come down further into other Islamic lands. 

Verse 42 ── “’ He shall stretch out his hand against the countries, and the land of Egypt shall not escape. 43) He shall have power over the treasures of gold and silver, and over the precious things of Egypt; also the Libyans and Ethiopians shall follow at his heels.’”  

So, that’s how far he’s going to be going down ── even to the border of Ethiopia, and down across into North Africa, and to Libya.

Verse 44 ── “’ But news from the east and the north shall trouble him; …’” – and so let’s set the scene – this vast armada crosses the ocean, lands on Egypt, comes up from the south, enters into the Palestinian area of Jerusalem (Judea), and then it says, ‘news from the east and the north shall trouble him.’ Well, to the north you have countries like Syria, Turkey. And to the east, you have countries like Saudi Arabia and Iraq. 

What if Europe comes in, sets up control in Jerusalem, and then those other Islamic states counterattack!? “… he [this European combine] shall go out with great fury to destroy and annihilate many.’” – to just ‘sweep them away.’ So, they come in over the ocean and they set up in Israel, they set up the ‘abomination of desolation’ – these northern and eastern Arab countries say, “We’re not gonna put up with that!” They try and force an invasion and cause trouble, and they’re wiped out! And as it says here, they’re just simply ‘annihilated.’

Now, let’s turn to our Bible to Psalm 83. I just spoke of this amazing prophecy in “Muslim Nations, Denouncing Israel ── Psalm 83.” We see a soon-coming alliance.

Psalm 83 ── “’ They have taken crafty counsel against Your people, And consulted together against Your sheltered ones. 4) They have said, ‘Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation, That the name of Israel may be remembered no more.’ 5) For they have consulted together with one consent; They form a confederacy against You: 6) The tents of Edom [the progenitor of the Turkish people] and the Ishmaelites [Saudi Arabia]; Moab [think Jordan] and the Hagrites [they anciently dwelt in the land known as Syria today]; 7) Gebal [Lebanon], Ammon [modern Jordan], and Amalek [Turks]; Philistia [modern Palestinians] with the inhabitants of Tyre [Lebanon] 8) Assyria [whose descendants migrated to Germany] also has joined with them; They have helped the children of Lot [Moab and Ammon in modern Jordan]” – Psalm 83:3-8.  

Do you see? Do you see the Middle East being molded and shaped? These events in Iran are significant! And, Europe is moving along toward European unity and toward a common currency. Biblical prophecy is moving right along.

Brethren, let’s have our eyes focused and watching. 

Let’s conclude here in Matthew chapter 24 ──

Verse 32 ── “’ Now learn this parable from the fig tree: When its branch has already become tender and puts forth leaves, you know that summer is near.’”   

So, we can tell by all that. We see that.  

Verse 33 ── “’ So you also, when you see all these things you know that it is near ── at the doors!’” 

Brethren, we are seeing these things! 

Verse 34 ── “’ Assuredly, I say to you, this generation will by no means pass away till all these things take place.’” 

So, the generation that will begin to see all these things take place will by no means pass away until it is fulfilled. From the beginning to the end of these things spoken by our Lord Jesus Christ will be within a generation ── roughly 30 years.

Verse 35 ── “’ Heaven [the atmosphere] and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.’”  

The leaves are on the fig tree. Summer is near; let us all awake and be on alert. The signs of the times in which we are living──the impending collapse of this present evil age, this worldly system──and the beginning of the ushering in of a New World──the glorious World Tomorrow. □
