2nd Thessalonians 2:3. Many people might not have heard of this, talked about, or
had it explained. The Apostle Paul says the following ──
“Now, brethren, concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering
together to Him, …” – the time setting on this passage is the end of the age! The
glorious and powerful Return of Jesus Christ! And of all the things that our beloved
Paul was, evangelist, minister, writer of the Holy Bible, he was also ── and we don’t
hear this often enough ── he was also a prophet! A prophet of the LORD God used
to explain to His servants──things which must shortly take place.
Verse 2 – “not to be soon shaken in mind or troubled, either by spirit or by word or
by letter, as if from us, as though the day of Christ [the Day of the LORD!] [is at
hand]. 3) LET NO ONE DECEIVE YOU BY ANY MEANS; …”
Including any self-professing prophet who is leading you astray as to who the ‘man
of sin’ will be. Or, anyone with their own private interpretation of prophecy.
Wouldn’t you agree ── that it’s vitally important to Recognize our Lord Jesus Christ at His Coming!? It’s also important to recognize the soon-coming ‘man of sin’!
Do not let ANYONE get inside your head and confuse you and deceive you, and
mislead you.
“ … for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of
sin is revealed, the son of perdition.”
TODAY, there is an American pope ── Robert Francis Prevost ── one of the most
famous men at this moment in time! Fox News has a whole playlist on its YouTube
channel devoted to him! Will there be a REVIVAL of Catholicism in our time? I
recently saw an article titled, “Young people are converting to Catholicism en masse” by the New York Post, April 17th, 2025. The new Roman Catholic Church
statistics reveal a growing Catholic population. 1
“And I saw the beast, the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to
MAKE WAR AGAINST HIM WHO SAT ON THE HORSE and against His army.” ── an end-time final “beast,” a European civic and military leader, along with many
nations of the earth, all come together to fight against our Lord Jesus Christ and His
army riding upon white horses.
Verse 20 – “Then the beast was captured, and with him THE FALSE PROPHET who
worked signs in his presence, by which he deceived those who received THE MARK
OF THE BEAST …” – Revelation 19:19-20.
Historically, what has been ‘the mark’ of the Holy Roman Empire? Note:
Constantine I reports having a vision of a “sign,” either while sleeping or seen in the
sky, that came to be identified with Christ. He places this “sign” at the top of his
standard and on the shields of his men. It became known as the Roman Cross. The “mark” of the beast.
In the above passage, your Bible ── of which we call the living word of God ──
speaks of a definite end-time FALSE PROPHET ── a man who is destined to
inspire, AWE, ASTONISH, and certainly REVIVE the hearts of millions!
WHO will he be? WHAT religious denomination will he represent? WHEN will he
rise up to deceive those who received THE MARK OF THE BEAST and those who
[worship] his image? WHERE will his headquarters be located? And, WHY will he
be able to perform “miracles” and deceive?
In this article, I would like to teach you the truths to these questions and more ──
not try and convince you that I’m right and all others are wrong!
A CHAOTIC TIME!
Now, whether you are religious, an atheist ── or somewhere in between ── the
massive impact of this soon-coming false prophet will affect your life and the life of
all others! The LORD God’s living word says that this ‘man of sin’ will hold sway
over MULTIPLE MILLIONS of people worldwide in a most powerful Church-State
greater than at any other time in world history!
Now, we have been told by our Lord Jesus Christ that IMMEDIATELY AFTER His
end-time prophets come on the world scene (Matthew 24:9-10), “’ … many false
prophets will rise up and deceive many.’” – vs. 11. Our Lord Jesus is the greatest
Prophet who ever lived ── because He has told us of our future before it has
happened! He foretold the end-time rise of a multitude of false prophets worldwide, deceiving millions.
He has described for us the false prophets that would rise ──
“’ Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they
are ravenous wolves. 16) YOU WILL KNOW THEM BY THEIR FRUITS.
Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles?’” – Matthew 7:15-16
── and, as I spoke about in “’ Least In the Kingdom From Heaven,’” our Lord Jesus
also calls false prophets, “’ unprofitable servants.’” The unprofitable servant was not
faithful in carrying out the few duties that were given to him in this life. He had not
learned to master his human nature, had not learned how to properly treat others –
like a future ruler would – even though he knew better! In other words, the
unprofitable servant might think that it is profitable for him to try and proselytize or spiritually influence a young man (a young man that may not have a calling from
Father God) In other words, a young man that in fact the LORD God isn’t even
calling out of this present evil age yet. And this unprofitable servant is becoming
obsessed and fixated on this young man. Losing sight of what is more important to
our Lord Jesus ── obedience.
False prophets will appear to be like sheep. Harmless, innocent, obedient, a
believer, appearing to need guidance. Or, outwardly, a harmless older man wearing
a baseball cap (which is a dishonor to himself – cf. 1 Corinthians 11:4, 7). Our Lord
Jesus cautioned us, “LOOK AT THE FRUIT!” Their character, and the results of
their life and activity (cf. 1 Corinthians 11:30).
Brethren, we are to learn how to ‘discern the spirits, whether they are of God’ or not
(reference 1 John 4:1).
BY THEIR FRUITS
Let’s take the chaos that is occurring in Los Angeles, or the other 39 cities in the
United States of America, where anti-ICE riots are taking place, as an example. Are
the people who are participating in this violence and “borderline treason” showing
us good fruits? Are these people who are spewing this hatred and evil, vile, good
people? Are they obeying the LORD God? The answer should be obvious. They are
obeying (whether they realize it or not) the ‘god of this age’ ── Satan the Devil.
Rather than wanting illegal immigrants, thugs, murderers, rapists, traffickers, taken
out of the United States of America, they would rather be paid and cause chaos and
division. And, I want you to be aware: “Walmart Faces MAGA Boycott After Heiress Funds ‘No Kings’ Ads.” Another major reason why I refuse to shop at Walmart!
Why would any logical man or woman want these illegal immigrants (some of whom
are murders and rapists, and mentally ill) to remain in the U.S.A.? Well, that’s a good
question! Vivek Ramaswamy ── who I respect immensely-- said, ‘US culture breeds ‘laziness’ and ‘mediocrity.’ A report by Newsweek back in 2024 showed that a rising number of men don’t want to work in America. But another reason why Democrats
want illegal immigrants to remain in America could be voting.
Now, apply this example to the major religions of the world. Consider Catholicism.
And, I don’t mean to offend our Catholic friends around the world ── but we can’t
help but think of the Catholic Inquisition. By the millions, they persecuted, tortured, and executed any they claimed were heretics ── religious genocide. What are their
“fruits”? Interestingly, a Pew Research Study conducted in 2024 found that the
reason why Catholicism can maintain a relatively steady share of the U.S.
population – about 20% - is due to the high percentage of “illegal” and, of course,
legal immigrants who are Catholic. 2
Here are but a few of the “fruits” of Catholicism ──
- Pope Pius XII is widely criticized for refusing to publicly condemn the Nazi party.
- a systematic cover up of abuse, molestation, and rape at the hands of priests that went all the way to the top of the church.
- In 1095, when Pope Urban II made a plea for war with Muslims, armies of Christians in Western Europe took up the charge.
- Pretty Much Everything Done By Pope Boniface VIII.
- Burning Joan of Arc at the stake in 1431 in front of a crowd of thousands. 3
According to the Pew Research Center, there are five countries with the largest
number of Catholics ──
- Brazil
- Mexico
- Philippines
- United States
- Republic of the Congo
What form of so-called “Christianity” do they practice? Does their religion inspire
them to develop their minds and abilities, to grow in the “fruits” of the Spirit? To
grow in the grace and in the KNOWLEDGE OF JESUS CHRIST? 1.272 billion Catholics throughout the world, yet these nations are trying to destroy themselves!? Are these nations
prospering and being blessed by the god they worship?
Be NOT Deceived!
Our Lord Jesus has warned us, “’ Take heed that no one deceives you. 5) For MANY
will come in My name [notice, not using His name, but rather, ‘in His name’], saying
‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many.’” – Matthew 24:4-5.
So, many would come in His name ── in the name of Jesus Christ ── and would
deceive many. And a great many ministers have come in the name of Jesus Christ!
They talk about His person, His works ── yet, they pervert and distort His Message.
And then, speaking of the last few years before His glorious and powerful Return,
He has warned us, “’ For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great
signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.’” – vs. 24.
Even in this “scientific age,” many people will be deceived by LYING WONDERS
(fake miracles) which these false prophets are going to perform!
‘two horns like a lamb and spoke like a dragon’
A MAN OF LAWLESSNESS
YOUR BIBLE reveals that there is coming a great FALSE PROPHET that is going
to exalt himself and take unto himself the title of God. He is going to blaspheme the
true God ── all while claiming to be God!
Again, in the Apostle Paul’s second epistle to the Church in Thessalonica, he warned,
“Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling
away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, 4) who
OPPOSES AND EXALTS HIMSELF ABOVE ALL THAT IS CALLED GOD or
that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that
he is God.” – 2 Thessalonians 2:3-4.
The Apostle Paul gravely warned that after his death, and even after the death of the
original apostles of Christ, there would be a “falling away” from the Word of God,
the Truth of God, and the ultimate Plan of God. We believe this has happened several
times throughout this present evil age. (Be sure to watch “THINK ABOUT THIS… The Nicolaitans”). And that towards the end of this present age, a “man of sin” would
arise ── or as the original Koine Greek, hamartia, meaning, “wrongdoing; usually
any act contrary to the will and law of God.” #266. This end-time man of sin is to
rise up and sit in a temple, showing himself that he is God ── through his title. As
in Vicar of Christ.
A man who will be dressed to the nines, who will OPPOSE the Law of God ── the
Ten Commandments of the true LORD God, while at the same time sitting on his
throne in a temple calling himself God ── and allowing himself to be worshiped!
The Apostle Paul continued, “For the mystery of LAWLESSNESS [the correct Koine
Greek, anomia, meaning “wickedness, lawlessness, lawless deeds, iniquity.” #458]
is already at work; …”
It’s sad that so very few of our peoples around the world properly understand this
“mystery of lawlessness” which was already at work in the 1st century. The “mystery
of lawlessness” is related to what we speak about all the time – “Traditional Christianity.” This lawlessness involves professing “Christians” who believe
that they DO NOT need to keep the Ten Commandments! So, while they believe that
they have a form of godliness, they are not keeping the religion that our Lord Jesus
Christ or His apostles would recognize.
In the 4th century, there continued to be a separation of the two groups. Yet, one
group obtained considerable Imperial favor after the sun-worshiping emperor
claimed to have had a vision and in around 332 Emperor Constantine I decided to
issue his “Edict Against Heresies,” which resulted in the grave persecution of those
who professed Jesus Christ who were not part of his group.
So, both groups, with all their numerous parts, have existed throughout this
dispensation. Both groups exist today.
“ … only he who now restrains will do so until he is taken out of the way.” – 2
Thessalonians 2:7.
Those that believe in the false religion of Satan, they’ll keep going that way ‘until
he is taken out of the way,’ – meaning, the son of perdition.
So, this FALSE PROPHET (also called “the man of sin” and “the son of perdition”
── note: Revelation 19:20) is a main part of this whole system of “mystery of
lawlessness” – like “MYSTERY BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF
HARLOTS AND THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH” which is filled with
ceremonies and rituals but DENY GOD’S LAW AND AUTHORITY!
Most people have no idea that the Catholic Ten Commandments and the Biblical Ten
Commandments are different. In the Catholic Catechism, it shows that the Ten
Commandments have been altered by the Catholic Church. 4

Our beloved Apostle Paul was revealing ── inspired by the Spirit of God ── that
this “mystery of lawlessness” was slowly building, even up to the end of this present evil age. He knew that towards the end of this age it would come full force upon the
world and deceive the many, “And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the
Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of
His coming [again, reference Revelation 19:20]. 9) The coming of the lawless one
is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders.” –
vs. 8-9.
So here, again, it is revealed to us that this FALSE PROPHET is one who performs
── through the power of Satan the Devil ── great signs and lying wonders!
Brethren, Friends, and Co-Workers in Christ ── do you believe the LORD God, or
do you believe a self-proclaimed prophet?
Sadly, most will not believe the LORD God. 😢
Because this soon-coming false prophet will mislead them with his slight of hand
── his signs and lying wonders. “with all unrighteous DECEPTION among those
who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be
saved.” – vs. 10. Certainly, no one wants to be deceived. But, when you have a
powerful, influential, gaudy protagonist (considered one of the most influential religious
figures in the world) appearing to do miracles in front of
the whole world ── only those who know and love the truth of God will not be
deceived.
“’ Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth.’” – John 17:17. □
