Our Lord Jesus Christ ── and brethren, you might think this is trivial, but I’d like to point out: When people speak about our Lord Jesus Christ, I notice so many just simply say “Jesus.” Have you noticed this? In my humble opinion, it’s not proper or respectful to simply say “Jesus.” By doing this, we fail to give to our Master and Elder Brother, our Savior, the honor that is rightfully due to Him. The names we call others, including our Savior, provide a snapshot of our relationship. A few examples ──

Surely, by the titles they used, we can see that they didn’t just think He was “Jesus of Nazareth,” but rather He was the Christ, the promised Messiah, the One sent to save His people from their sins (Matthew 1:21).

“’ It is enough for a disciple that he be like his teacher, and a servant like his master. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more will they call those of his household!’” – Matthew 10:25.

Truly, our Lord Jesus tells us ── and He’s continuing to tell us, brethren, because His words are alive! – cf. Hebrews 4:12 ── that His faithful followers would be hated because we belong to Him! ──

“’ If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you.’” – John 15:18.

“’ Blessed are you when men hate you, And when they exclude you, And revile you, and cast out your name as evil, For the Son of Man’s sake.’” – Luke 6:22.

“’ And you will be hated by all for My name’s sake. But he who endures to the end will be saved.’” – Matthew 10:22.

It is true that our enemy, Satan the Devil, certainly does not want you to be a part of our Lord Jesus’ true faith of the Way ── by inspiring people to attack you verbally because of His name’s sake. Something that happened in my life ── my wife and I were having a family get together, and my sister-in-law was lamenting over the fact that she has lost so many of her family members to death, either from suicide, cancer, or a bleeding ulcer. And she was saying how this great loss has affected her throughout her whole life. And, because I was trying to comfort her in the name of Jesus Christ, she blatantly called me a winebibber, because I was having a beer. Immediately, I recognized that it was Satan the Devil, attacking me ── we wrestle not against human beings, but rather we wrestle against the spiritual forces of the evil one. Satan the Devil trying to discredit me. Well, I dearly love her and pray for her always. Wanting no ill will to come upon her family.

Yet, sadly, some often fall into Satan the Devil’s evil tactics.

History shows us that certain ones did not look very kindly towards true Christians ──

“But we would like to hear from you and to know what you think, because we are indeed very aware that this sect is everywhere spoken against.” – Acts 28:22, NET.

Are you able to endure to the end, being a part of a faith that is spoken against everywhere? Sadly, most people cannot. No one wants to be unpopular, to not be a part of the “in crowd.” No one wants to be laughed at, screamed at, spit upon, and berated. Back in 2023, my own mother-in-law screamed at me out of the blue, “You’re in a cult! You’re going to hell!” Her words stabbed deep into my chest. And I couldn’t help but immediately think of the LORD God’s living word regarding the Apostle Paul, and how he was berated by a certain servant girl ── saying to them sarcastically, “These men are the servants of the Most High God, who proclaim to us the Way of salvation.” It is revealed to us that Satan’s method is to deceive and that he and his minions have the power to place thoughts, suggestions, or impulses into unsuspecting human minds – unless we are alertly on guard against it.

Now, deception doesn’t always have to be clever to work ── Joseph Goebbels famously stated, “If you tell a lie often enough, people will believe it, and you will even come to believe it yourself.”

So, surely what has happened to me by a mentor ── in which I suspect he has bashed my name and reputation against the jagged stones, possibly why I don’t have many people interacting with me on Facebook. The name-calling. Yet, I wish to be like our Christ, “not returning evil for evil or reviling for reviling, but on the contrary blessing, knowing that you were called to this, that you may inherit a blessing.” – 1 Peter 3:9. Because we are warned ──

“Pride goes before destruction, And a haughty spirit before a fall.” – Proverbs 16:18.

But yes indeed. Are you aware that our Lord Jesus’ original followers of the Way were considered to be part of a “cult” or a “sect”? Did you notice above that the Apostle Paul, while in Rome, had called together the leaders of the Jews to explain that he had done nothing wrong? ── yet he was delivered as a prisoner from Jerusalem into the hands of the Romans, was compelled to appeal to Caesar Nero during his imprisonment in Caesarea.

“And when he [born Saul of Tarsus] was called, Tertullus began to accuse him, saying to the governor, ‘Since we have obtained great peace through you, and excellent things have been done for this nation through your forethought. … 5) For we have found this man to be a pest, and a mover of INSURRECTION among the Jews in the whole world, and a leader of THE SECT of the Nazareans; …’

10) And when the governor motioned for him to speak, Paul answered, ‘Knowing that you have been a judge to this nation for many years, I do more cheerfully make defense for myself concerning these things. 11) So that you may understand, it was not more than twelve days ago that I went up to worship in Jerusalem; 12) And neither did anyone find me disputing with anyone in the temple, nor inciting a tumult among the people ── neither in the synagogues, nor in the city; 13) Neither can they prove the things of which they now accuse me. 14) But I confess to you that according to the Way which they call HERESY, so I serve the God of my fathers, believing all things that are written in the Law and the Prophets.’” – Acts 24:2, 5, 10-14, NET.

Most translations use the pejorative term “sect,” instead of “cult.” It’s a negative term ── a form of name-calling.

Let us also consider that the Apostle Paul, who kept and celebrated the holy weekly Sabbath (cf. Acts 15:21; 16:13; 18:4; 28:17), mentioned God the Father and our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, in every single introduction to his epistles! All fourteen! (Romans 1:7; 1 Corinthians 1:3; 2 Corinthians 1:2; Galatians 1:3; Ephesians 1:2; Philippians 1:2; Colossians 1:2; 1 Thessalonians 1:1; 2 Thessalonians 1:2; 1 Timothy 1:2; 2 Timothy 1:2; Titus 1:1; Philemon 1:3; and Hebrews 1:1-2). Yet ── and brethren, please pay attention to this, he never mentions the Holy Spirit ── so, he clearly had a BINITARIAN understanding, not trinitarian.

That was the understanding and doctrine of the early Church of Jesus Christ ── the Church of God ── the early Christians that were dubbed “Nazareans.”

True Christians have long been considered belonging to a “sect,” or rather, a “cult” – Acts 24:14. Our great High Priest, Advocate, and Savior, Jesus Christ, has warned us that the faithful would be persecuted and harassed ──

“’ Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake, For theirs is the kingdom [from] heaven.

11) Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely FOR MY SAKE. 12) Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you.’” – Matthew 5:10-12.

The LORD God’s true prophets of old, according to our Lord Jesus, have been subject to all types of revile, persecution, and evils ── including rejection, disdain, physical abuse, and threats of execution and death! And, according to our Lord Jesus, it will happen again, when His true end-time prophets arise on the scene (cf. Matthew 24:9; Revelation 11:3-12).

Furthermore, the Apostle Paul, under divine inspiration, wrote ──

“But you have carefully followed my doctrine [his doctrine is our Lord Jesus’ doctrine, they are the same!], manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, love, perseverance, 11) persecutions, afflictions, which happened to me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra ── what persecutions I endured. And out of them all the Lord delivered me. 12) Yes, and all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution.” – 2 Timothy 3:10-12.

Historically, at least to a large part, because of the utter hatred of the Jews, true Christians were “excommunicated” by Emperor Constantine. One of the first recorded “official” persecutions of true Christians on behalf of the Roman Empire was in AD 64, when, as reported by Tacitus, Emperor Nero was blaming Christians for the Great Fire of Rome. According to tradition, it was during the reign of Nero that our beloved Peter and Paul were martyred.

The persecutions didn’t stop, and the name-calling continued against our brethren. In addition to Emperor Constantine the Great’s Edict Against Heretics, Emperor Theodosius I only intensified the persecutions.

Theodosius I (379-95) resorted to name-calling against all those who held to the original biblical position and understanding of the Godhead ── the Elohim, which at this time consists of God the Father and our Lord Jesus Christ. He specifically called out anyone who would disagree with his trinitarian law, as he stated ──

“ … According to the apostolic teaching and the doctrine of the Gospel, let us believe the one deity of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, in equal majesty and in a holy Trinity. We authorize the followers of this law to assume the title of Catholic Christians; but as for the others, since, in our judgment, they are foolish madmen, we decree that they shall be branded with the ignominious name of heretics, … They will suffer in the first place the chastisement of the divine condemnation, and in the second the punishment which our authority, in accordance with the will of Heaven, shall decide to inflict.” 1

Persecutions of the faithful to our Lord Jesus Christ didn’t stop. And since Constantine the Great’s edicts did not stop everyone from properly keeping and observing the Lord’s Passover, Theodosius I brought out his Edict of Thessalonica. After he became a baptized “Christian,” he decreed the death penalty ──

“CHAP. XXVII. Edicts of Theodofius aganft the heretics, A.D. 380-394

… Theodofius, fuggefted the moft effectual methods of perfucution. In the fpace of fifteen years, he promulgated at leaft fifteen fevere edicts againft the heretics; more efpecially againft thofe who rejected the doctrine of the Trinity; … inflicted on the Audians, or Quartodecimans, who fhould dare to perpetrate the atrocious crime, of celebrating, on an improper day, the feftival of Eafter.” 2

Truly, truly, wouldn’t the murdering ── the martyring ── of the faithful of Christ Jesus, who provided for us an example to keep and observe the Lord’s Passover ON THE 14th of Nisan, instead of celebrating a pagan celebration (Easter), a large, bright, and glaring sign of THE ANTICHRIST?

Brethren, for true Christians, the name-calling has continued from those who believe in the doctrine of the Trinity against us who hold strong to the Rock ── those of us who “contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints”!

So, be not surprised, my beloved, when you are persecuted ──

“For we know Him who said, ‘Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,’ says the Lord. And again, ‘The LORD will judge His people.’ 31) It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

32) But recall the former days in which, AFTER YOU WERE ILLUMINATED, you endured a great struggle with sufferings: 33) partly while you were made a spectacle both by reproaches and tribulations, and partly while you became companions of those who were so treated; 34) for you had compassion on me in my chains, and joyfully accepted the plundering of your goods, knowing that you have a better and an enduring possession for yourselves [from] heaven.” – Hebrews 10:30-34.

“For we have spent enough of our past lifetime in doing the will of the Gentiles ── when we walked in lewdness, lusts, drunkenness [and not just drunkenness with alcohol, but also with spiritual drunkenness], revelries, drinking parties, and abominable idolatries. 4) In regard to these, they think it strange that you do not run with them in the same flood of dissipation, speaking evil of you.” – 1 Peter 4:3-4.

Sadly, name-calling, persecutions, and shaming have occurred to the Lord’s people from the very beginning ── including by some who are claiming to be of the faith, of the Way.

Surely, the most common derogatory name that people call us who … “are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God” – Romans 8:14, ── is the pejorative term “cult.” □

Again, at the top of the page, in bold, capitalized letters ── the Trump Administration proudly announced a “deal” with the evil and vile Islamic Regime of Iran led by an interim leadership council and a core group of influential Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC)! NO REGIME CHANGE! The Gulf states now feel “left in the lurch and exposed by the US-Iran deal.”

Media reports alleged that the UAE moved billions of frozen funds to Iran in exchange for a halt in attacks on its territory, which Abu Dhabi has denied. …

Gulf states have found themselves stuck between a wounded but emboldened Iran and an unreliable alliance with the US. …

Meanwhile, Iran “has survived and overcome the US and Israeli decapitation campaign and also demonstrated that it can strike back and use Hormuz for leverage,” [Chatham House Middle East expert Neil Quilliam] said.

In an interview with The New York Times on Sunday, Trump suggested Gulf states pay for American protection against Iran.

“The Gulf states are being subjected to what amounts to blackmail by both Iran and the United States,” [Hasan Alhasan of the International Institute for Strategic Studies] said.

1. Lack of transparency and unclear terms. Many details — such as how Iran’s enriched uranium will be handled, the scope of sanctions relief, and the exact conditions for nuclear disarmament — remain vague.
2. No real nuclear weapons ban. Iran hawks warn Tehran may use the financial lifeline to rebuild militarily and organizationally, undermining the deal’s long-term security benefits.
3. Sanctions relief without full integration. The agreement allows Iran to immediately restart oil exports free from U.S. trade and banking sanctions.
4. Strategic concessions without reciprocal gains. It includes Gulf state contributions to a $300 billion reconstruction fund.
5. Political and diplomatic skepticism. Iran’s leaders have a history of prioritizing their nuclear program over economic prosperity. 1

The MOU is seen as a placeholder rather than a final peace deal.

President Trump just simply says, ‘Well… if they don’t cooperate, we’ll just go back to bombing them!’ So, he’s giving them 60 days to rearm and resupply their weapons? Mr. President, when a boxer has his opponent on the ropes, you go for a KO!! I realize that Mr. Trump has said that ‘the deal isn’t final,’ but why isn’t he “finishing the job”? ── that's beyond me!

O indeed, this vile Islamic Regime of Iran is two-faced. One part of its regime is not endorsing this MOU and refused to sign it, and the other part of their regime signed it.

Now, while President Donald Trump has posted, “This Great Deal will bring Peace and Security to the whole Region,” we do not believe that it will. I remember as a child watching on television one of the first renditions of Elmer J. Fudd ── Egghead. A Day at the Zoo, in which Egghead, the main character, repeatedly taunts a lion in its cage. The narrator warns Egghead to stop provoking the lion. He did not stop. At the end of the cartoon, the lion inside the cage opens its mouth ── and from within the stomach of the lion, Egghead’s eyes appear, and his voice echoes, “I’m a baaad boy!” Moral of the story? If you poke at an Asiatic lion repeatedly or persistently, you are almost certainly provoking a defensive or predatory attack.

We should consider the following prophecy ──

“For when they say, ‘Peace and safety!’ then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall not escape.” – 1 Thessalonians 5:3.

Certainly, while the above prophecy does have a future fulfillment, it is a dire warning to not just blindly accept a ‘declaration of peace in our time’ with a nation that is led by a demon! This is why I often quote Neville Chamberlain when he returned from his appeasement of Adolf Hitler, and his raising a signed agreement that Nazi Germany would not continue the war if only France and the UK permitted Hitler to incorporate the Sudetenland – and they did! Announcing to the crowd and to the world, and now the Leftists are saying we have all heard this wrong for nearly 86 years! – “Peace in our time!” The talk of any true peace apart from the LORD God is hollow and without the understanding of mankind’s true nature.

Israel, Stunned by Trump’s Iran Deal, Sees It as a ‘Catastrophic Capitulation’

Israel awoke to a frightening new reality on Thursday as it absorbed, with disbelief and largely in silence, the terms of President Trump’s preliminary agreement to end the war with Iran.

It accomplishes none of Israel’s war aims, analysts and officials said, and arguably leaves the country in worse shape on each of them.

Regime change? The government in Tehran is emerging from the war even more hardline and emboldened, despite being decapitated at the outset of the conflict in late February. The deal’s requirement that American forces retreat from the “proximity” of Iran within 30 days means that Iran can boast that it has chased the U.S. military out of the region. …

David Horovitz, the editor of The Times of Israel, called it “a catastrophic capitulation,” in the headline of a fiery opinion column. …

The prime minister said Israel would stick to its ultimate goal: “Iran will not have nuclear weapons.”

Yes, Israel is in a very difficult position. It has to support this MOU, but with a history of 45 Years of Revolution, Resistance, and Conflict, the Islamic Regime of Iran will surely violate this MOU.

I want you to notice that there is coming, at the end of this present evil age, not only the fact that the Roman Catholic Church will work together with a future conglomerate of Islamic nations, called ‘king of the South’ in God’s word, but His living word also shows us that this future great religious leader will turn against this “Madhi” ── this final ‘king of the South.’ Notice the following dual prophecy, showing us that this final Islamic power will be defeated ──

“’ At the time of the end the king of the South shall attack him [a final Catholic-led European civic and military leader, called the ‘king of the North’]; and the king of the North shall come against him like a whirlwind, with chariots, horsemen, and with many ships; and he shall enter the countries [the Middle Eastern countries], overwhelm them, and pass through. 41) He shall also enter the Glorious Land [Palestine], and many countries shall be overthrown; but these [initially] shall escape from his hand: Edom [which is Turkey], Moab [which is Iraq], and the prominent people of Ammon [or Jordan]. 42) He shall stretch out his hand [the ‘king of the North’] against the countries, and the land of Egypt shall not escape’” – Daniel 11:40-42.

Now … the following end-time prophecy given to the Prophet Ezekiel also concerns the great and terrible Day of the Lord, “a day of clouds, the time of the Gentiles” ── which is exactly what we are speaking about here. Now, mind you, even today most of these following nations are primarily Islamic! THE DAY OF THE LORD! It is prophetically linked to the meaning of the Day of Atonement. And it’s in the future, and we’re simply not that far away from it. Prophet Daniel in chapter 11, verses 40-43 shows us that Edom (Turkey) will initially escape the wrath of the final Catholic-led European ‘king of the North.’ Prophet Ezekiel shows us that Egypt and her allies, including Arabs, will be DESTROYED!

“’ For the DAY is near [speaking of the Day of the Lord], even the day of the LORD is near; it will be a day of clouds, the time of the Gentiles. 4) The sword shall come upon Egypt, And great anguish shall be in Ethiopia, When the slain fall in Egypt, And they take away her wealth, And her foundations are broken down’” – Ezekiel 30:3-4.

And even though I believe that what the Trump Administration did was for the security of our nation ── the following prophecy is getting ever closer to fulfillment ──

“How lonely sits the city That was full of people! How like a widow is she, Who was great among the nations! The princess among the provinces Has become a slave!

2) She weeps bitterly in the night, Her tears are on her cheeks; Among all her lovers She has none to comfort her. All her friends have dealt treacherously with her; They have become her enemies.” – Lamentations 1:1-2.

The United States of America has become ‘great [AGAIN] among the nations!’

“Thus he [a soon coming final Catholic-led “United States of Europe” civic and military leader, also called in prophecy the final ‘king of the North’] shall act against the strongest fortresses with a foreign god, which he shall acknowledge, and advance its glory, and he shall cause them to rule over many, and divide the land for gain.” – Daniel 11:39.

Yes, indeed ── and let us always thank Almighty God, and all of our wonderful and brave Veterans ── the Nazi German & European alliance was utterly defeated by Western powers in WWI & WWII! So, in this sense, his fathers of WWII and his forefathers of WWI of a soon-coming final ‘king of the North’ had failed to defeat the Western powers (the USA and the UK respectively), however ‘he shall devise his plans against the strongholds’ and shall accomplish ── but only for a short time.

Flashback November 9, 1989. As I sat on our couch in the living room watching the nightly news, the reporter excitedly announced, “I’m Peter Jennings in New York. Just a short while ago, astonishing news from East Germany where the east German authorities have said in essence, ‘the Berlin Wall doesn’t mean anything anymore. The Wall that the east Germans had put up in 1961 to keep its people in will now be breached by anyone who wants to leave.’” And I was shocked! ── because even then, at such a young age, I knew the LORD God’s dual prophecies concerning GERMANY! God’s living word teaches us that there is coming a final Catholic-led European ‘king of the North’ beast power that will have “a great army” – Daniel 11:25. And the U.S. ── several U.S. administrations recognized that a strong West German military was essential to NATO’s defense of Western Europe. The most notable push came from the Eisenhower administration in the early 1950s, but the Kennedy administration and later leaders also reinforced this policy ── so, to be fair, let’s not just “blame Trump!” □

The Bulgarian and Romanian Orthodox patriarchates condemned LGBT 'pride' parades, warning the events promote confusion and contradict Christian teaching on marriage and the family.

Leaders from Orthodox Churches have spoken out against LGBT “pride” parades across Europe. …

The Bulgarian Patriarchate said in a statement that humanity was created by God “as man and woman” and that the family is the natural environment for raising children, warning that “pride” parades promote views and behaviors that are “incompatible with Christian moral teaching.”

The Romanian Orthodox Church also criticized the “pride” events. It stated in a declaration that the LGBT movement endangers “social peace and mutual respect,” which are indispensable for the common good. Events such as Bucharest Pride could intensify confusion regarding spiritual values in a society already facing challenges such as demographic decline and social instability.

The Orthodox Churches of Bulgaria and Romania warn that the 'Pride' movement threatens the family and social peace

Tens of thousands of people took part this weekend in the Pride marches held in Bucharest and Sofia to demand legal recognition of same-sex unions and greater legal protection for same-sex couples. The response was not long in coming from the main Orthodox Churches of both countries, whose synods denounced that the demands of the LGBT movement threaten the family, generate moral confusion and may endanger social peace.

The synods of the Orthodox Churches of Bulgaria and Romania issued statements coinciding with the demonstrations held in both capitals. In them they reaffirmed Christian doctrine on marriage, family and sexual identity, while insisting on the respect due to every person and rejecting any form of violence or discrimination. …

The Holy Synod of the Patriarchate of Bulgaria openly criticized the holding of the Pride march in Sofia and recalled that Christian teaching holds that the human being was created by God “as male and female.”

The Bulgarian bishops also stressed that the family, founded on the sacramental union between a man and a woman, constitutes the natural environment for the upbringing of children and one of the fundamental pillars of society.

In its statement, the synod accused the promoters of these demonstrations of spreading ideas and behaviors incompatible with Christian morality, expressing particular concern about the influence these messages may have on children and adolescents.

Catholic parish in Germany backs pro-LGBT parade, joins Protestants in offering ‘blessings’

A Catholic parish church in Germany came out in support of the pro-LGBT Christopher Street Day (CSD) parade in conjunction with the local Protestant parish.

According to a local news outlet, on June 13 the Protestant church in Pforzheim and the Catholic parish of the Sacred Heart will support the CSD, as Christiane Quincke, dean of the Protestant church in Pforzheim, and Father Steffen Schölch, parish priest of the Catholic parish of Pforzheim, said in a statement.

“A few weeks ago, we celebrated Pentecost. This feast shows that the Holy Spirit unites people and creates community,” the statement reads.

No one should have to hide their “identity” or background, the church leaders stressed.

“On the contrary: God created us in diversity and unites us. We are firmly convinced that every person – regardless of religion, background, social status, or sexual identity – is created by God and loved by God. We share this concern with CSD [Christopher Street Day], which advocates for the dignity of queer people, seeks to make visible the diversity of people in their sexual identities, and takes to the streets for their rights.” …

On its website, the Pforzheim parish has a section labeled “for queer people” that links to the website of the Archdiocese of Freiburg headed by Archbishop Stephan Burger. The archdiocese has an “offer for queer people,” which appears to be a form of “pastoral care” that does not call sinners to repentance but instead affirms them in their supposed “queer identity.”

“Queer gender identities can include, for example, non-binary, gender-fluid, genderqueer, or agender, which demonstrates that gender is diverse and need not be confined to rigid categories,” the website of the archdiocese states.

So, instead of denouncing sickness and sin, they praise it! Let’s notice what God’s living immutable word told the Prophet Isaiah to say to his people ──

“’ CRY ALOUD, SPARE NOT; Lift up your voice like a trumpet; Tell My people their transgression, And the house of Jacob their sins.’” – Isaiah 58:1.

The Apostle Paul, under divine inspiration, warns us ──

“For SINCE THE CREATION OF THE WORLD His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that THEY ARE WITHOUT EXCUSE, 21) because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened.

22) Professing to be wise, they became fools, 23) and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image make like corruptible man ── and birds and four-footed animals and creeping things.

24) Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves, 25) who exchanged the truth of God for THE LIE, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.

26) For this reason God gave them up to VILE PASSIONS. For even their women exchanged the natural use for WHAT IS AGAINST NATURE. 27) Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust FOR ONE ANOTHER, MEN WITH MEN COMMITTING WHAT IS SHAMEFUL, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due.

28) And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a [reprobate] mind, to do those things which are not [proper]; 29) being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil-mindedness; they are whisperers, 30) backbiters, haters of God, violent, PROUD, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, 31) undiscerning, untrustworthy, unloving, unforgiving, unmerciful; 30) who, KNOWING THE RIGHTEOUS JUDGMENT OF GOD, that those who practice such things are deserving of death [the second death], not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them.” – Romans 1:20-32.

Well … how bad is homosexuality among the Roman Catholic clergy?

Back in 2019, a book by Frédéric Martel came out. IN THE CLOSET OF THE VATICAN: POWER, HOMOSEXUALITY, HYPOCRISY. Here’s a short except ──

Here is the pope: threatened and attacked on all sides and generally criticized, Francis is said to be ‘among the wolves.’

’Tis true, sexual immorality is rampant all throughout the Roman Catholic Church! That Mother Church ── MYSTERY BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH ── are “drunk with the blood of the saints and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus.” The whole of that Church is filled with sin!

God’s living and eternal word warns us ──

“DO YOU NOT KNOW that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? DO NOT BE DECEIVED. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor [CATAMITES; refers to same-sex sexual relationships between an adult man and an adolescent boy], nor SODOMITES [someone who engages in homosexual acts], 10) nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God.” – 1 Corinthians 6:9-10.

Now, as far as being “PROUD” ── again, notice God’s living word ──

“These six things the LORD hates, Yes, seven are an abomination to Him: 17) A proud look, A lying tongue, Hands that shed innocent blood, 18) A heart that devises wicked plans, Feet that are swift in running to evil, 19) A false witness who speaks lies, And one who sows discord among brethren.” – Proverbs 6:16-19.

Yes… ‘a proud look’ is something that the LORD God hates.

A proud look is basically when someone thinks that they are better than others ── you know, that kind of haughty, condescending vibe. It’s not just about physical appearance, but that inner attitude of superiority that shows through a person’s eyes and posture.

Now, as far as ‘a lying tongue,’ the LGBTQ+ group falsely asserts that there are more than two genders and that they were “born that way.” Well, there isn’t, and they weren’t! As I stated in A Dying Nation, “The LORD God looks down from Their thrones and sees our dying nation. Americans are legalizing, legitimizing, validating, and endorsing everything we once held to be a “mental illness.”

As far as ‘hands that shed innocent blood,’ the LGBTQ+ group is pro-abortion. Notice this outlandish and abominable statement from the GLAAD, “Many lesbians, bisexual and queer women, nonbinary and intersex people, and transgender men can and do get pregnant—and can and do seek abortion services.”

As far as ‘feet that are swift in running to evil,’ their participation in those “Pride parades” is certainly a good example.

Absolutely, the LGBTQ+ group is composed of ‘false witnesses that speaks lies.’ An example is surely Drag Queen Story Hour, and other various forms of perversions.

Like Sodom became, the United States of America (as well as the United Kingdom and her Commonwealth Nations) are now at the point in which social and sexual values are not bound by any stable spiritual or social rule – lifestyles can be whatever each individual wants.

Again, the dire WARNING from our Creator God ──

“A haughty look, a proud heart, And the plowing of the wicked are sin.” – Proverbs 21:4.

“’ The look on their countenance witnesses against them, And they declare their sin as Sodom; They do not hide it. Woe to their soul! For they have brought evil upon themselves.’” – Isaiah 3:9.

It is sad that the Roman Catholic Church, responsible for millions of lives, are leading their people astray!

There are a growing number of people worldwide that seemingly despise the moral teachings of the LORD God──and it will not end well for them ──

“Therefore thus says the Holy One of Israel:

‘Because you despise this word, And trust in oppression and perversity, And rely on them, 13) Therefore this iniquity shall be to you Like a breach ready to fall, A bulge in a high wall, Whose breaking comes suddenly in an instant. 14) And He shall break it like the breaking of the potter’s vessel, Which is broken in pieces; He shall not spare. …’” – Isaiah 30:12-13, 14.

Destruction is coming to the United States of America──as well as her British-descended allies──and it will be far worse than anyone can imagine. And it will be sooner than most might realize. □

World News in Relation to Biblical Prophecy ── June 14, 2026

This week in World News Regarding Biblical Prophecy ── the Vatican. Robert Francis Prevost (aka Pope Leo XIV) has “consecrated” what is believed to be the tallest church building in the world (See: AP - Pope honors Barcelona’s Sagrada Familia as masterpiece of stone, color and light on Gaudí centenary).

Back in February, the cross at the top of the tower was installed. Raf Sanchez with NBC News has dubbed it “a gigantic five-story ceramic cross.” 1

Interestingly, it wasn’t until around 200 – 210 AD that we see writings, such as the Roman Catholic supporting Tertullian, suggesting that a cross is “a sign of Jesus.”

Alexander Hislop (1807 – 13 March 1865), a Free Church of Scotland minister, wrote in his book The Two Babylons concerning the cross ──

“It is certain that the X was the symbol of the god Ham in Egypt, and as such was exhibited on the breast of his image. Whichever view be taken, however, of Constantine’s sincerity, the supposed divine warrant for reverencing the sign of the cross entirely falls to the ground. In regard to the X there is no doubt that, by the Christians who knew nothing of secret plots or devices, it was generally taken, as Lactantius declares, as equivalent to the name of Christ. In this view, therefore, it had no very great attractions for the Pagans, who, even in worshipping Horus, had always been accustomed to make use of the mystic tau or cross as the ‘sign of life’ or the magical charm that secured all that was good and warded off everything that was evil. …

… one more symbol of the Romish worship to be noticed and that is the sign of the cross. In the Papal system, as is well known, the sign of the cross and the image of the cross are ‘all in all.’ No prayer can be said, no worship engaged in, no step can almost be taken without the frequent use of the sign of the cross. The cross is looked upon as the grand charm, as the great refuge in every season of danger, in every hour of temptation as the infallible preservative from all the powers of darkness. The cross is adored with all the homage due only to the Most High, and for anyone to call it, in the hearing of a genuine Romanist, by the Scriptural term, ‘the accursed tree,’ is a mortal offence. …

The same sign of the cross that Rome now worships was used in the Babylonian Mysteries, was applied by Paganism to the same magic purposes, was honoured with the same honours. That which is now called the Christian cross was originally no Christian emblem at all, but was the mystic Tau of the Chaldeans and Egyptians—the true original form of the letter T—the initial of the name of Tammuz— …

There is hardly a Pagan tribe where the cross has not been found. The cross was worshipped by the Pagan Celts long before the incarnation and death of Christ. …” 2

This outstanding research by Mr. Hislop should show everyone that the use of the “cross” is clearly an idol for billions upon billions of people worldwide! Question: Does anyone feel that God our Father would want true Christians to venerate a symbol that was used to torture and murder His Son? Note: It only takes a little research to learn about how and by what means the ancient Romans would crucify their prisoners, e.g., it involved suspension on a wooden cross or stake until death.

Reference Deuteronomy 21:23; Galatians 3:13. “( … ’ Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree’).” An old oak tree stripped of branches with a cross beam tied to it. (Ai-generated)

“Ancient Romans did indeed use permanent trees—specifically upright wooden posts or stakes. These were often oak or olive trees that had been set firmly in the ground before the condemned arrived at the execution site. The tree was not a temporary cross; it was a fixed structure, sometimes several feet tall, to which the victim was tied or nailed.” 3

Early Church of God groups have historically avoided using the “cross” symbol. The Paterines also considered the “cross” as the sign of the “mark of the beast” ──

“About the year 1040, the Paterines had become very numerous at Milan, which was their principle residence, and here they flourished at least two hundred years. They had no connection with the [Catholic] church; for they rejected not only Jerome of Syria, Augustine of Africa, and Gregory of Rome, but Ambrose of Milan; considering them, and all other pretended fathers, as corrupters of Christianity. They particularly condemned pope Sylvester as Antichrist. They called [the adoration of] the cross the mark of the beast.” 4

It is of interest to note the following admission in an article on the Paulicians by the Catholics ──

“A distinctive feature of Paulician practice was their rejection of the Cross as a symbol of worship. Instead, they honored only the book of the Gospel. … Since Gibbon the Paulicians have often been described as a survival of early and pure Christianity, godly folk who clung to the Gospel, …” 5

Also of interest, Puritans (a group of English Protestants in the 16th and 17th centuries who sought to reform the Church of England by eliminating practices they viewed as remnants of Roman Catholicism) were also opposed to the cross symbol. Still, of course, in time, they again adopted Catholic doctrines and beliefs.

Yet, to this very day, true Christians are opposed to the cross symbol.

A publication of The Messenger of Truth ── an organic, precursor of the Church of God (Seventh Day), in its November 1854 periodical had the following ──

“Now this mark in the forehead, we say is the “cross;” for it is a mark or sign of Catholicism, or of the first beast. …

Although it may seem out of place here, yet I wish to say a few words to illustrate this message. The cross that we see on yonder meeting house, was not placed there as a sign, or symbol of “Our Salvation,” (as the Catholics say), but in reality a sign, or demonstration of Satan’s victory over the Son of God: Acts 2, 23) ── …

Therefore, those who make the cross their household God, pocket companion wear it in their foreheads & shew their true character, and that of their master; that he was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth.” 6

Now, regarding this false self-proclaimed prophetess, Ellen G. White of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, she once wrote ──

“Papists place crosses upon their churches, upon their altars, and upon their garments. Everywhere is seen the insignia of the cross. Everywhere it is outwardly honored and exalted. But the teachings of Christ are buried beneath a mass of senseless traditions, false interpretations, and rigorous exactions. …

The worship of images and relics, the invocation of saints, and the exaltation of the pope are devices of Satan to attract the minds of the people from God and from His Son.” 7

The definition of “Papist” is a Roman Catholic.

But, of course, their doctrine has since changed; no later than 1997, a cross-containing logo has been in use by the official SDA Church. Also, they were not the only ones to adopt the Catholic cross symbol, or rather mark. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS) did as well. However, notice this from July 2011 ──

“The Meaning of the Cross for Latter-day Saints

All of us have passed by churches that have a cross on their steeples or cupolas, and we’ve all seen people wearing a necklace with a cross, indicating they are Christian or a member of a certain Christian denomination. Some of our new members may even continue to wear a cross, feeling that it connects them with their past or other religious traditions. …

We may wonder why we Latter-day Saints don’t place a cross on our churches or wear a cross to show that we are Christians, thereby making it easier for others to identify in whom we believe. …

The blessing of what happened on the cross is witnessed in our behavior, our families, and our standards. We are Christians in the true inward sense, and we display Christ to the world through our lives, our message, and our love rather than through a symbol whereby we are identified.”

Of course, their doctrine changed… “Sur-prise, sur-prise, sur-prise!” ──

“On March 25, 2026, the church announced the installation of a cross-centric statue on Temple Square. To be clear, the image—which depicts Jesus carrying the cross—isn’t terribly dissimilar from images with which LDS folks may be accustomed in other contexts. But when coupled with an increasingly public embrace of mainstream Christian Easter traditions, … it seems to mark a notable change of tone for the church generally and Temple Square specifically, particularly when it comes to cross-related imagery …

Previously, most imagery on Temple Square tended to focus on non-cross-related imagery, opting instead for images of Jesus performing miracles, teaching, or as a resurrected being. …

Now, visitors to Temple Square will be initially greeted with cross-imagery that feels and looks like it could be placed as comfortably in a Catholic Cathedral as it could be in a Protestant mega-church.”

Now, after writing that, the author apologizes ── “I don’t mean that in any way that is disparaging …”

So, indeed, Mormons are moving closer in line to Catholicism and all other “Christian” organizations around the world. Also, let it be duly noted that the SDAs have adopted the doctrine of the Trinity (be sure to read our article “Is God a Trinity?”), which they were initially teaching against, which, now combined with their cross acceptance, has made them more “acceptable” to the Greco-Roman Catholic and Protestant organizations.

The LORD God has warned us, brethren ──

“’ Come out of her, my people, lest you share in her sins, and lest you receive of her plagues. 5) For her sins have reached to heaven, and God has remembered her iniquities.’” – Revelation 18:4, 5.

The LORD God also, through the inspired writings of the Apostle John, has warned us ──

“Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16) For ALL THAT IS IN THE WORLD ── the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life ── is not of the Father but is of the world.” – 1 John 2:15-16.

Yet… and the television show Blue Bloods, every episode, flaunted the sign of the cross (they were, after all, portraying an Irish American Catholic family) ── the Roman catholic Church and “her daughter churches” do not seem to care or realize that the cross is the mark of the beast.

God’s living word is clear that He is against anyone who “worships the beast and his image, and receives his mark on his forehead or on his hand” ── they “shall also drink of the wine of the wrath of God, …” – Revelation 14:9. □

Well … Mike Gendron, who was a devout Catholic for over 30 years, in his May 2018 Newsletter has the following ──

Will the world’s two largest religions converge and be the catalyst for the prophesied one-world religion? I. Both Esteem and Honor Mary - Muslims and Catholics both call her, “Our Lady.” and venerate her as a pure and holy saint. Mary is mentioned more in the [Koran] than the Bible.

II. Both Seek Messages from Apparitions of Mary - Many of the messages make it clear she is coming for all her children including Muslims, Catholics and Protestants and that people of all religions can be saved apart from Jesus Christ as long as they are good.

III. Both Are Anti-Semitic - The Vatican has issued over 100 antisemitic documents and taught the Jews should be cursed because they killed Christ. Mohammed words recorded in a hadith say, “The last day will not come until the Muslims destroy the Jews.”

IV. Both Embrace Another Jesus - Catholicism has a counterfeit Jesus whose death on the cross was not sufficient to save them. Islam also has a counterfeit Jesus (Isa) who did not die on a cross and is not God, only a prophet.

V. Both Seek World Dominion - Both religions rule with an autocratic government and have a history of forced conversions and killing those who oppose them. Could these religions which control people with indoctrination, intimidation, and fear be a precursor to the rule of Anti-christ?

VI. Both Deny the Authority of Scripture - The pagan beliefs of both religions stand opposed to the Bible. Muslims reject the Bible as the final revelation from God declaring that God has revealed a final testament: the [Koran] which is their supreme authority.

VII. Both Use Prayer Beads to Avoid Punishment - Catholics pray the rosary to remit punishment for sin. Muslins use 99 beads that correspond to the names of God. Praying to Allah five times a day is an act of obedience to escape the punishment imposed on those who do not pray.

VIII. Both Take Pilgrimages to Obtain Favor from God - Catholics take pilgrimages for religious purification and the promise of indulgences. Muslims take pilgrimages to Mecca, a mandatory religious duty that must be carried out at least once in their lifetime.

IX. Both Have Human Mediators - Catholics rely on the priesthood to dispense salvation through sacraments and seek Mary to intercede with God on their behalf. Muslims rely on the intercession of Muhammad on judgment day. He will prostrate himself before Allah who will say, ‘O Muhammad! speak, it will be heard; and be given; intercede, and it will be approved.’

X. Both Have a Works-Righteousness Salvation - Allah will place one’s good and evil works on the divine scale: "Those whose scales are light are those who lose their souls in hell" (Sura 23:102,103). In Catholicism, sacraments, good works and obeying the law are necessary for salvation.

The Koran I have in my library reads ──

“Those whose good deeds weigh heavy in the scales shall triumph, but those whose deeds are light shall forfeit their souls and abide in Hell for ever. The fire will scorch their faces and they will writhe in anguish.” – 23:102,103.

Even though we here at the Church of Jesus Christ Online Ministries surely wouldn’t word things exactly like he does, there are indeed similarities between Roman Catholicism and Islam.

Both indeed are obsessed with Marianism and apparitions. In fact, May is the month that all Roman Catholics dedicate to their understanding of Mary. The majority believe that our Lord Jesus’ mother appeared in Fatima, Portugal, on May 13th, 1917.

Interestingly, the founder of Islam, Muhammad, apparently, had four daughters ── Fatima, Ruqayya, Umm Kulthum, and Zaynab. Fatima is revered in both Sunni and Shia traditions.

The Vatican designed a new-age-style cross encircled by the crescent moon of Islam

Jorge Mario Bergoglio, throughout his see, had made many pro-Islamic statements. 1 Also, the Vatican designed in 2019, what they are calling “a new age-style cross encircled by the crescent moon of Islam.” Surely a Chrislam cross.

Well … as far as God’s living and holy word goes ── the Holy Bible ── Moslems believe that Jews and Christians corrupted it, and thus, cannot be trusted to be the word of God. Now, strangely enough, they do believe that God (whom they call Allah ── the Allah of Islam, however, is not the God of the Bible) used Jesus, yet they deny His deity and His glorious resurrection.

The Roman Catholics do accept the Holy Bible as the word of God, but believe that it is the Vatican that interprets the Bible, along with its nearly 2,000-year-long traditions ── and certainly since the rule of Emperor Constantine II. So, the overall majority of Roman Catholics do not believe Scripture the same as we do ── i.e., the Church of Jesus Christ Online Ministries.

As for the Roman Catholic Church and a future Confederation of Islam working together ── yes, it is coming. So says God’s living word ── and, it could be related to this dual prophecy ──

“’ And after the sixty-two weeks Messiah [speaking of our Lord Jesus Christ] shall be cut off, but not for Himself; And the people of the prince who is to come Shall destroy the city [this did occur in 70 A.D.] and the sanctuary. The end of it shall be with a flood, And till the end of the war desolations are determined. 27) Then [H]e shall confirm a covenant with many for ONE WEEK [one week = 7 years]; But in the middle of the week [on a Wednesday] He shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering. And on the wing of abominations shall be one who makes desolate, Even until the consummation, which is determined, Is poured out on the desolate.’” – Daniel 9:26-27.

At the very beginning of His WORK OF GOD, our Lord Jesus Christ taught His twelve disciples, whom God the Father had called unto Him (cf. John 17:24), the very Message given to Him by His Father concerning the soon-coming Kingdom of God. Then, after 3 ½ years, our Lord Jesus finished that initial phase of the Work of God, which Father had given Him to do. In His final prayer to Father, He says, “’ I have glorified You on the earth. I have finished the work which You have given Me to do’” – John 17:4. Daniel 9:27, a two-fold prophecy, speaks of a remaining 3 ½ years of an end-time work. “Daniel 9 gives us a clue: Contains what is often referred to as the SEVENTY WEEKS PROPHECY. Verse 27 – Remember, in verse 25 we see the word “Messiah.” That’s who we’re talking about here in verse 27. The “he,” who – JESUS CHRIST – “he shall confirm a covenant with many for one week;” which in Bible parlance, one day for a year – this is SEVEN YEARS. “But in the middle of the week, He shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering.” Now, who was the ultimate sacrifice? Jesus Christ. When did He die? When was He executed? He was executed on a WEDNESDAY, in the middle of the week. His human life ended after 3½ years of His public ministry. It was SEVEN YEARS. He was supposed to have a very special dispensation. And He lived upon this earth for 3½ years, it begs the question: What became of the other 3½ years? Well, the other 3½ years will be fulfilled in those events upon His return and for 3½ years ── the Millennium.”

I also want you to notice that not only will the Roman Catholic Church work together with a future conglomerate of Islamic nations, called ‘king of the South’ in God’s word, but His living word also shows us that this future great religious leader will turn against this “Madhi” ── this final ‘king of the South.’ Notice the following dual prophecy, showing us that this final Islamic power will be defeated ──

“’ At the time of the end the king of the South shall attack him [a final Catholic-led European civic and military leader, called the ‘king of the North’]; and the king of the North shall come against him like a whirlwind, with chariots, horsemen, and with many ships; and he shall enter the countries [the Middle Eastern countries], overwhelm them, and pass through. 41) He shall also enter the Glorious Land [Palestine], and many countries shall be overthrown; but these [initially] shall escape from his hand: Edom [which is Turkey], Moab [which is Iraq], and the prominent people of Ammon [or Jordan]. 42) He shall stretch out his hand [the ‘king of the North’] against the countries, and the land of Egypt shall not escape’” – Daniel 11:40-42.

Now … the following end-time prophecy given to the Prophet Ezekiel also concerns the great and terrible Day of the Lord, “a day of clouds, the time of the Gentiles” ── which is exactly what we are speaking about here. Now, mind you, even today most of these following nations are primarily Islamic! THE DAY OF THE LORD! It is prophetically linked to the meaning of the Day of Atonement. And it’s in the future, and we’re simply not that far away from it. Prophet Daniel in chapter 11, verses 40-43 shows us that Edom (Turkey) will initially escape the wrath of the final Catholic-led European ‘king of the North.’ Prophet Ezekiel shows us that Egypt and her allies, including Arabs, will be DESTROYED!

“’ For the DAY is near [speaking of the Day of the Lord], even the day of the LORD is near; it will be a day of clouds, the time of the Gentiles. 4) The sword shall come upon Egypt, And great anguish shall be in Ethiopia, When the slain fall in Egypt, And they take away her wealth, And her foundations are broken down’” – Ezekiel 30:3-4.

Notice that none of these verses mentions Edom (Turkey) being destroyed at that time. This utter destruction of Turkey will come later.

A reference – a time setting – note verse 15 of Obadiah 1 ── ‘the Day of the LORD upon all the nations is near.’ This is an end-time prophecy! Let’s pick it up at Verse 8 – “’ Will I not in that day,’ says the LORD, ‘Even destroy the wise men from Edom [Edom, Esau, Turkey, they all mean the same], And understanding from the mountains of Esau? 9) Then your mighty men, O Teman [Ottoman], shall be dismayed, To the end that everyone from the mountains of Esau May be cut off by slaughter.’ 10) ‘For violence against your brother Jacob, Shame shall cover you, And you shall be cut off forever. 11) In the day that you stood on the other side - In the day that strangers carried captive his forces, When foreigners entered his gates And cast lots for Jerusalem – Even you were as one of them.’” – It’s VERY CLEAR what He’s talking about – the sack of Israel (modern-day Israel) and Jerusalem, forces being carried off, and Edom (Turkey) has a direct hand in it!!

Edom (modern-day Turkey) certainly wants Jerusalem destroyed and will be a part of the conglomerate of Islamic nations called the end-time ‘king of the South.’

So, yes, both the Vatican and Islam are Anti-Semitic, and for a short time will be in cooperation with each other. Let us recall that many within the Roman Catholic Church, during the final days of World War II, collaborated with the Nazi regime! 2

However, it will end up not turning out very well for this end-time Islamic confederation of nations, or the Roman Catholic Church (cf. Revelation 17:1).

The stage is being set on the world scene for these end-time prophecies of our great and awesome God to be fulfilled! □
