Like most of my fellow Americans, I watched President Donald Trump’s 2026 State of the Union address (SOTU) and was utterly disgusted at the Demoncrats!

Indeed, all of the Democrats and anyone who supports that group “should be ashamed!” I personally sat and watched, with beaming pride, one of the greatest US presidents in my lifetime ── surely since President Ronald Reagan.
Sadly, what I witnessed was outright disrespect, vile, and utter division.
Again, I am reminded of the living words of our eternal Creator God ──
“ … ‘Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and the sea! For the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, because he knows that he has a short time.’” – Revelation 12:12.
Long before U.S. President Abraham Lincoln gave his acceptance speech on June 16th, 1858, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ warned us ──
“’ If a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand. 25) And if a house is divided against itself, that house cannot stand.’” – Mark 3:24-25, see also Matthew 12:25 and Luke 11:17.
Notice that the LORD God inspired that important nugget of knowledge to be recorded for us three separate times.
The LORD God repeats something in His living word that He wants to emphasize greatly.
And DIVISION is NOT GOOD!
Though our beloved Apostle Paul was writing to our brethren regarding division within the Church of God, this grave warning can indeed be applied to a nation ── In his letter to the brethren in Rome, Paul issues a stern warning against those who cause division.
“Now I urge you, brethren, note those who cause divisions and offenses, contrary to the doctrine which you learned, and avoid them.” - Romans 16:17.
Those who cause great division within Congress or the House chamber should be ostracized
Now, politicians certainly don’t have to agree on everything ── surely our Founding Fathers didn’t always agree on everything. Still, when the issue of illegal immigration came up in President Trump's SOTU address, there SHOULD HAVE BEEN UNITY!
“So tonight, I’m inviting every legislator to join with my administration in reaffirming a fundamental principle. If you agree with this statement, then stand up and show your support: The first duty of the American government is to protect American citizens, not illegal aliens.”
The Demoncrats that were in the House chamber sat like a lump on a log scowling. 😢
“Isn’t that a shame? You should be ashamed of yourself for not standing up. You should be ashamed of yourself. That is why I’m also asking you to end deadly sanctuary cities that protect the criminals and enact serious penalties for public officials who block the removal of criminal aliens. In many cases, drug lords and murderers are all over our country. They’re blocking the removal of these people from our country. And you should be ashamed of yourself.” 1
Certainly, after our beloved President Donald Trump leaves office, what will happen to the United States of America, as well as our British-descended allies, will be far worse than anything that most people could ever imagine is possible!
Five reasons American decline appears irreversible
- Uncontrollable U.S. Debt.
- Invasion of Illegal and Unvetted Immigrants Not Willing to Assimilate.
- The Modern Democratic Party is Consumed with Hate (especially the Squad members).
- Loss of American Identity and Patriotism.
- The Rise of Socialism and Communism In America.
“Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; 5) does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not [easily] provoked, THINKS NO EVIL; 6) does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth.” – 1 Corinthians 13:4-6.
The very words of our Savior, the Savior, and eternal salvation is found in no other, Ilhan Omar ──
“ … ‘You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul [life], and with all your mind.’ 38) This is the first and great commandment [the FIRST FOUR of the Ten Commandments! Exodus 20:3-8]. 39) And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself’ [the LAST SIX of the Ten Commandments; Exodus 20:12-17].’”
“’ But I say to you who hear: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, 28) bless those who curse you, pray for those who spitefully use you. 29) To him who strikes you on the one cheek, offer the other also. And from him who takes away your cloak, do not withhold your tunic either. 30) Give to everyone who asks of you. And from him who takes away your goods do not ask them back. 31) And just as you want men to do to you, you also do to them likewise.

Yet, instead of true love – agapé love, godly love, we are witnessing towards the end of this present evil age, hatred and violence being whipped up! The other day, I was watching the Law&Crime Network on YouTube of police involved shootings, and it saddens me to come to the realization that so many of our major cities are now looking and sounding more like “third-world cities.”
Our Lord Jesus Christ has prophesied that there will be ‘troubles’ – Mark 13:8.
The terrible time of ‘Jacob’s Trouble’ is soon to come upon the modern nations of the children of Israel, also called by our Lord Jesus, a time of ‘great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be’ – Matthew 24:21-22.
Sadly, I do not agree with the president when he announced during the SOTU ──
“ … there has been a tremendous renewal in religion, faith, Christianity, and belief in God. … America is one nation under God.” 2
The United States of America is no longer “One Nation Under God.”
National repentance is the only thing that can stop it! But sadly, it doesn’t look likely. Personal repentance, to our great God of Israel and the Creator of all life, however, is still very possible! Your personal future can still be brighter than our own divided nation.
Let us all pray, ‘Thy Kingdom Come. Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven’! □
